Tsuki smiled. "Yeah. Oh, wait. Taiyou, who were you all fighting anyways?"
Taiyou hesitated. "Well, you might not believe this but...it's us."
"Huh?" Tsuki was confused. "I don't get."
"The main Mist branch has been compromised. Basically, one of the other candidates for the next Head is killing off the other Mist families to secure his own place. At least...that was his original plan. The current Head refused to recognize him."
"Him? Him who?" Tsuki asked.

Taiyou looked at Tsuki. "You've met him before. You two used to be good friends, but you ended up losing contact with him when you lost to me."
Tsuki thought about it. "Ooh! I remember now! Wait, you mean that was him!? That's soo not good. He's a berserker type!"

Tsuki rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry, Hisoka. His name is Yato. Ever since we were kids, we were best friends. Since I didn't care about becoming the next head, we never fought. To be honest, I was his only friend. So, to hear that he's gone berserk now must mean that my 'death' was the trigger."
"What do you mean 'must mean'? Your death IS/WAS the trigger! Now he's going all over the world killing off the family. And to make matters worse, he save ME to be killed last!" Taiyou raved.

"Exactly. Even more so since he was in lvoe with you!" Taiyou shouted.
"Yeah-what?" Tsuki looked at Taiyou confused. "That's impossible! He's not like that."
"Have you ever heard him utter a word about women?"
"Well, no, but-"
"And doesn't he flinch every time women come near him or try to touch him?"
"That doesn't mean... Ugh, why does this have to come up now!?" Tsuki said, frustrated.

Tsuki nodded. "Yeah. The most important thing is to sort out the facts. But like Hisoka said, we can only do so much. So...be careful, okay?" He said.
Taiyou was caught off guard by the sudden caring in his older brother's voice. "Nii-san... Okay, sure!" He then headed back towards teh park. But halfway there, he recieved a phone call from his father. "Hey, dad? I'm fine and headed to meet up with-"
"Run...away... ...you! Don't... ...near... late...Argh!"
"Dad? Father!?"
"Long time no speak, Taiyou. It's your turn now... Ha-ha-ha-ha!"
The tone went dead and Taiyou paled. He turned around and ran to catch up with Tsuki and Taiyou. When he did, he tackled Tsuki to the ground. "H-He got mom and dad!!!"

Tsuki frowned, scowling as he stood up. "Yeah: run."
Taiyou looked at his brother. "Run!? That's the best you can do?"
"No. We're running to 'my' cave. You know that one I'm talking about Hisoka. I want you to run and take Taiyou there. I'll take an alternate route and lead Yato away."
"Nii-san!"

"I'm sorry Hisoka. But think about it, I've been acting so selfish. And all because I don't like fighting and didn't want to die. And then, once I succeeded, I went around having the time of my life. I didn't even know that my family was being extinguished." He looked at Hisoka and Taiyou determined. "I'm the source of all this, and thus, I will end it!"
Taiyou stared at his brotehr amazed. "I see. Then...I will support you. Just...promise me one thing, ya?"
"Yes, Taiyou?"
"Don't get killed."

Tsuki's smirk was revived. "Hey, just so you know, Taiyou was the first and last person I ever lost to. I have some survival skills, y'know. But first...Taiyou, I can't use Mist magic anymore as it'll give away that I'm still alive. Do me a favor and give me your 'face'."
Taiyou smiled and nodded. "Sure thing, nii-san." He then put an illusion on Tsuki so they he looked like him. "There you go!"
"Good, now get out of here!"
