Description:
The user directly channels an impressive amount of chakra to excite nearbye molecules in order to generate a high velocity wave that seems to negate the mass of the objects it strikes. Generally Shinra Tense is capable of pulverizing or at least negating anything in it's path and commonly delivers serious blunt force damage. On an enemy ninja common ailments are severly damaged/broken bones. The only barriers capable of standiong up to Shinra Tense must be at S-ranked.

Howver despite this certain ninja can push on past this impressive jutsu. Shinobi with durability as a primary strength are able to take the full force of Shinra Tense without being flung off their feet and only receiving moderate bruising but three direct blasts will result in the breaking of bones. Bijuu with durability as a primary strength or if they have excelled 5 tailed transformation, are capable of receiving a direct Shinra Tensei and send it rebounding back towards the user IF they are properly secured to the ground.

Shinra Tensei can only be used every other post but Bansho Ten'nin does not suffer from this same problem.

Bansho Ten'nin creates a powerful vacuum force that draws objects and organisms towards the user. The user is capable of controlling how many items are pulled towards them ranging from a single person to a small group of ninja.


There are several changes that will need to be made to make this legal:
This technique is WAY too powerful to only be a B rank. The reason being that it does not hurt you, it destroys any barriers under S rank, it has a huge range of 50 meters, and it instantly pulverizes anyone without durability as a primary strength. It doesn't even have a charge-up time.

For one, Kyuuga have nearly unbreakable bones when at full chakra, and this technique implies that you could break their bones if they don't have durability as a primary strength.

Another thing is that all this is an "explosion" of sorts, which is when air moves outward very suddenly. A simple explosion caused only by a B rank of chakra should be way too weak to do anything except knock people over, much less turn them into pulp. If you wanted to try to keep it like it is, you would need the jutsu to require somewhere along the lines of 20 handsigns, at which point it would be a moot point to try to use it in battle.

In short, it costs too little, can be used too often, does not hurt you [which in all actuality it would], has no charge time, and does too much damage. Address all or some of these things, and then try again if you think it is worth fighting for.

I'm willing to say it can at the very least deal moderate damage to A rank barriers and severly damage B ranked barriers.

In some cases this technique cannot break bones, I'll try to look up Bloodlines that grant extra durability as a trait and write up the damage they would receive from it's use such as the Kaguya.

B ranked techniques are apart of a Jounin's arsenal of the jutsu. I'd exspect an offensive jutsu used by Jounin to do more than just 'knock people over'. I'd exspect some visible damage after being hit by a B-rank Jutsu such as broken bones, deep cuts, ect. I mean some C ranked jutsu do more than 'knock people over' why can't a B rank jutsu do the same?

I tried to implement a time frame for it's usage based on the Anime/Manga which stated it could only be used within five second intervals (which is pretty short). Instead I can't use it every post there must be at least one post between it's uses. If you think I should extend it then sure.

Also this is a Bloodline jutsu by the way belonging to the Rinnegan, I'm just trying to add some mechanics into it. In the Anime/Manga it's strong enough to dissipate a Rasenshruiken, which is, at the very least, an S+ jutsu. It IS a pretty powerful jutsu and I know there is going to be alot of work trying to legalize it. However I don't believe it should be an A rank technique, but I do have an A rank version that I may design in the future.

I can lessen the range to 20-25 meters but if so the closer an enemy is to the attacks origin the more damage it will deal. So if somebody gets hit by this point blank I don't really think they should be able to get up after getting hit by this, especially since it could potentially cave in their chest at such a range. This is supposed to be a pretty destructive jutsu so I believe most structures should be obliterated or at least critically damaged after getting hit by this unless it's made of metal or something.... But even metal would get dented by it at the very least.

That's all well and good, but you forgot about the fact that YOU are point blank range from the blast itself. If you attempt to add some way to defend yourself from the blast, then that in itself would make it an A rank.

also, you should give me a range=damage system. Get those done, and we'll talk

sweatdrop I think my description may have confused you, i must have worded it wrong. Shinra Tense is an arced wave, pretty much like a half circle traveling outwards. The width extends as it gets farther away but the damage lessens.

Alright here is a range system, let's see how it works;

1-3 Meters (Severe)- Strong enough to pulverize a large boulder or any heavy stone structure and deal severe damage to a victims skeletal structure and serious bruising. A ranked barriers receive substantial damage, B ranked barriers seriously damaged.

4-10 meters(Serious)-Strong enough to crush medium sized structures the size of a horse into smaller rocks. A victim will often suffer from broken bones and moderate bruising and will be pushed back 30 meters unless stopped by an outside force. Wooden structures will be destroyed at this range but A ranked structures receive little damage while B ranked barriers receive moderate damage.

11-16 meters-Stone structures receive minimal damage while wooden structures begin to fall apart and collapse. Victims suffer from moderate bruising and will be pushed by 20 meters. A ranked structures are unharmed and B ranked structures receive minimal damage.

16-25 meters-Wooden structures will still start to collaspe and suffer from some strain. Victims receive light bruising and wil be pushed 10 meters away. C ranked structures receive heavy damage only, B & A ranked structures receive no damage.

The process of exciting particles would make it go both ways, not just outward. You too would be hit by the blast. That's why I am saying that if you are trying to make it so that you can use it without being hurt, it needs to be higher rank.

Well I don't know too much about physics so how would you describe the 'firing of a wave that doesn't rebound against me;'.

I thought that I understood the 'exciting of molecules' well enough to use it here but I was unaware it had a rebound affect. Woud saying the 'violent acceleration of molecules in a certain direction' be more appropriate in describing the jutsu?

Well, yeah. If you are "exciting particles" [aka, heat or pressurization], the particles don't just go out in a little neat wave as you had it. They would go bouncing around in a bunch of different directions. But as Cobra puts it, I am being too literal with how this is going. I honestly don't see how I can allow a move with almost no prep time to be that powerful. Talk to Cobra, unless you are ready to argue a lot of points about it.
If you want me to deal with it, please give me the parts of the jutsu that you are not willing to compromise, and the ones you are willing to change. Figuring out what you want will make this go smoother.

I'm still not seeing how the technique is THAT powerful when I've already agreed to lessen it's force to the range it is encountered, especially since some other B ranked techniques can deal more damage that it can with some unspecified ranges.

I'm ready to deal with anyone I have to in order to approve this jutsu. It's already a promised bloodline technique for the Rinnegan but the description is less than a sentence long, so I think that actually approving THIS jutsu to be better than:


The parts of the jutsu I DONT plan on compromising on (but if a good point is made I may relent):
Current Attack Strength: I've already limited it's damage to range, what more can you want in terms of strength?

'Prep Time': In the manga/anime this move is initiated without any handseals but can only be used every five seconds. In order to comply with rules I've already said that it can only be used every other post but IS STILL a B-rank technique for a Chuunin level character so it won't be used too often. For preparation I still don't want to initiate handseals into the jutsu but the user must at least MENTION channeling chakra for the technique one post prior to it's usage.

Parts that I can try to compromise on;
Range: I'm willing to reduce the range to a minimum of 15 meters BUT the attack damage but increase if this is done. The farther away a victim is from the origin the less damage they receive.

Enemy Modifiers: If you can give me a proper plan on Shinra Tense's effects against modifiers then I will try to write up a better description of it's effects. You brought up the Kaguya earlier and it's effect on metal but I plan on Shinra Tensei being strong enough to damage both structures at a close range. If you know enough about force mabye you can tell me how much pressure in pounds is nessecary to break/damage wood,metal, bones, and other structures Shinra Tensei may encounter.

I guess the biggest thing I have a problem with, and the whole reason I am arguing this, is that a "wave" of energy is not focused on one spot of the body. If you took all that force and compressed it, then I could see it breaking bones. But when it covers that much area, I think that it would do less damage then breaking bones even at short range. If this is indeed a move from the anime/manga, then would you mind showing me where this technique was used to break bones? onemanga.com would be the place to find the chapter where this occurs, if indeed it did. Its just that the only move such as this I am familiar with is "Almighty Push", but I'm not a qualified expert on Rinnegan by any means. If you can bring me proof that this technique already exists in the manga, then I can pretty much approve it on the spot.

Deil Shinra Tensei is 'Almighty Push'! Bansho Ten'nin the opposite effect of the jutsu >.<. And nobody is a qualified expert on the Rinnegan, it has one of the least mechanics for all the canon kekkei genkai.

Description: The user perfomes hand seals and focuses on their hand. A Ball of fire will appear that sounds like a howling wolf.

Rank D-C: The flame will look like a small red sun (for example: the size of a baseball). If you attack someone with this jutsu at this rate it will tear the skin of the opponent, leave minor burns around the area they were hit, and leave a small gash.

Rank B: The flame will be purple and look like a medium size ball (for example: the size of a soft ball). The flame is wild at this rate. If you have good chakra control you can tame it, if you don't it will take three extra posts to learn this level of the jutsu. If you attack someone with this technique at this rate it will tear the flesh, leave major burns, and leave a big gash

Rank A: The flame is black. It does not grow in size since the last level of the justu (Still the size of a Soft ball). Smoke will come from the flame as well as flares. If you use this jutsu too many times in a row it will cause damage your hand. If you attack someone now they will have major burns, rashes, and a huge hole in the area they were hit at. Description: after forming a smal set of hand seals the user will change their body shape completely into that of an animal, another person, or whatever they like. This technique is damaging to the user because while in the transformed state they can be wounded more easily. Also this only last's for a max amount of 5 minutes (posts) in battle.

Description: After placing one hand on top of the other the user will start to focus and compact wind into their dominant hand's palm. Within seconds the user will form a small fast spinning ball of wind that can shred through tree's with some difficulty. This attack is formed based on chakra control alone and can be very difficult to master. to use this attack effectively the user must strike their opponent with it head on, once hit the attack will leave a spiral shaped wound much like that of the legendary Rasengan technique but will not cause as much damage at all (no internal stuff... just outside flesh wounds.).

Description:
Shinra Tensei negates the mass of all objects caught within a subtle alteration of gravitational forces. Shinra Tensei is also hard to detect, unless a victim is capable of sensing gravitational forces and the manipulations of said forces. Otherwise an enemy would have to judge the attack by the trademark gesture required to initiate the invisible explosion of kinetic energies.

The repulsor like function of Shinra Tensei classifies it as a higher tier technique, thanks to it's ability to fracture or break bone, stone, wood, or brick. The strength of the technique is determined by it's chakra output. The most common chakra output is equivalent to a C rank jutsu and while still capable of throwing opponents a few yards away, only bruises opponents. The most damage received by a C rank Shinra Tensei will probably cause a minor fracture and throw the opponent away at high speeds. C rank Shinra Tensei can only be used every other post.

The B rank Shinra Tensei is the lethal version, capable of breaking stone, bone, cement, or brick with ease. Most Earth Release defences of equal rank will be destroyed and victims will most likely break a few bones after being hit. B rank Shinra Tensei is visible as a ripple through the air, allowing only the smallest of time frame to perceive a threat and react. Moving in a set direction and noticing a B rank Shinra Tensei incoming will make the technique nearly impossible to dodge if they are moving at high speeds. This is because most ninja cannot move at high speeds and notice a fast technique appear right in front of them and still be able to notice the ripple in the air and redirect themselves. At least without the Sharingan or near perfect reflexes. B rank Shinra Tensei can only be used once every two posts. With the ability to manipulate gravity most users of this technique are incredibly hard to fight.

The closer an enemy is to the origin of the attack, the more damage received. Shinra Tensei can take the shape of an omnidirectional blast, directional pulses, or explosion of air within the range of the technique [15 meters].

Clans with enhanced durability such as the Kaguya only receiving minor bruising from the C rank level, and minor fractures from the B rank. However this is only when they have enough chakra to reinforce their bones. If the Kaguya has less chakra than the user they receive damage as if they were a normal ninja. With equal chakra they receive minor brusing and minor fractures. Kaguya's with higher chakra levels receive only bruising.

In other cases Shinra Tensei can only dent metal, but if metal receives the blast point blank the dent may be bigger. Shinobi with durability as a modifier receive equal benefits to a Kaguya if their durability modifier is a primary strength.

Bansho Ten'nin drags enemies or objects from 15 meters away towards the user. The strength of Bansho Ten'nin is great enough to lift objects over three hundred pounds and bringing them towards the user. If the victim has a strengh modifier that is great than the user they aren't lifted off their feet and dragged like a chess piece towards the user. Instead they are slowly dragged along the ground, giving them enough time to tether themselves down.

Description: This technique manipulates space and time in a way that forcibly tugs an object from a nearby location, warping through other objects in it's way.

The technique seems to be a way of forcibly pulling an object from somewhere close into the user's hands, the object will also warp through other objects in its way, such as the wall it was behind. This is technique was a closely guarded secret technique used by a the Shisui Clan.
