[Traverse Town : Third District]Suddenly, a whizzing blur came in from the side, slicing through a row of Heartless like a buzzsaw in a curved arc. At the end of its path, it was caught by none other than the Great Ninja, revealing it to be her large shuriken. She had a rather curious look on her race as she glanced at the weary fighter protecting the mouse.
"Your pretty new to this, hmm?" she asked with a raised brow, lightly scoffing at the male. "The thing about Heartless is its not how many you get rid of, but long until they lose interest. At least, here in the Third District. So don't wear yourself out so quickly."
In her free hand, she still held the silver lighter, but seemed to not pay attention to it, instead keeping her eyes on the Heartless. Every once and again, she'd glance to the female mouse- was she related to the King?

{ Don't underestimate the light. } [Traverse Town : Third District] Mina gave the district a quick once over with her eyes, taking in the many Heartless that were appearing. The place was crawling with them! She knew of many such places from her travels, areas that seemed to hold an endless supply of Heartless. Clear them all, they might stay away temporarily, but they always came back eventually. This was their territory. As such, she was in the act of pulling out her weapon when Vain appeared. He... thanked her? Well, golly, that made her feel good! She laughed in appreciation, and readied her weapon, concentrating on it's lightning effect. A dangerous spark of electricity slithered down it's length, coating it, and adding that extra lightning damage to all her strikes. That is, if she could even get a strike in. Vain seemed to be doing just fine on his own. Realizing she was staring, and doing nothing to help in the process, Mina looked for a way to help. She was just about to do so, when the group of Heartless she'd been targeting was destroyed by something that went by in a blur too fast to see. She followed it's course as it returned to it's owners hand. A shuriken. Belonging to a smallish girl. Of course, Mina wasn't one to judge based on height. Now Mina really didn't have anything to do at the moment. Between Vain's attacks, and this new person, the Heartless immediately around her had been cleared away. Noticing the girl look her way, she gave a little 'what can ya do?' shrug. Looks like she might not get to fight with these two around. Oh, well! It wasn't like she particularly enjoyed fighting, and hey, she was in Traverse Town now -finally!- and that was good!

.: Traverse Town | First District | Courtyard † ________ ¯ ¯ ¯ ¯ ¯ ¯ ¯ [Bollocks.] "Where's the place with the food?" Orielle asked (Sory, Cid, Suzu, Leon and Elde (amirite?)), crossing her arms over her chest. Souzourou had waved to them not too long ago, so she assumed they knew him.
As she asked, she couldn't help but chuckle as she took in the sight. If it were even possible, it seemed that the destruction looked even worse from down there. Shattered glass, ruptured pavement.... "Christ, they really did serve your asses to you on a silver platter, mmm?" she muttered rhetorically, smirking with amusement as she slide another piece of glass away from her with the tip of her boot. [Absolute bollocks.]

{[Elde]} "Why does fortune seem to strike the most kindhearted people? Is everything just pre-ordained?"
.:[Traverse Town: First District]:. Elde nodded in response to the introductions of these two. He listened to Alex’s pledge to Sory.
“Quick to act, I like it” he said still smirking and brushing aside a white bang that had been blocking his view of Alex. “But your right I suppose it might be nice to have something to drive you…” he said this convincingly enough but truth was he was indifferent to the idea. He never had anything to fight for so he didn’t know if it was ‘nice’ or not, but he figured Sory didn’t want to hear that right now.
He then shifted his gaze to the blond boy. The guy seemed quite distraught over this whole brother issue. He didn’t really know what to say so he changed the subject. He glanced over to the rest of the combatants that were chatting in the square. He began to stand, dusting himself off.
“Well, we may as well all decide a plan of action together hm?” he then began to walk toward the other group. He strolled over just in time to hear Orielle’s statement about the group being thrashed.
“Yup that’s pretty much what happened, thanks for the help by the way Princess.” He had no knowledge of her title, he was clearly trying to be sarcastic. He moved on quickly. “Anyone have an idea for a plan of action? We seem to have… repairs to do, and if there’s any chance of those guys coming back, we may want to be better prepared?” he seemed to direct this towards Leon. He didn’t know the man very well but had definitely seen him and the other members of his group around over the time he spent here, he just never felt the need to associate himself with them for some reason. He did know he was the ring leader of sorts so he figured he might have an idea.

[[Masenko-Ma]]
"If at first you don't succeed..." ___[Castle Oblivion .:. Kitchen]
"Well aren't you the brooding anti-hero! I suppose now you'll tell me of your horrible life living underground and how I should care, hmm? Maybe at the end of your story, you'll realize the err of your ways and sacrifice yourself to save a pretty girl. Meanwhile, I'll just be here at Castle Oblivion, relaxin' and chillaxin', and occasionally breaking the fourth wall by calling Kyle a douchebag*." Maseno stretched before moving away from the wall, yawning and scratching his head before killing off the hot sauce.
"You keep your dreary ways, Zekky. I was never much for the dramatic lifestyle, so I think I'll just keep on keepin' on." With that, Maseko vanished in a puff of smoke, though he wasn't gone. Just invisible, as proven by the many objects the sleepy Nobody had accidentally knocked over.
___[Castle Oblivion .:. Outside Aria's Room]
Masenko banged on Aria's door loudly as he whined, "Ar~i~aaa~, I'm sleepy and my bed is too lumpy from using it so much~ Let me in so I can sleeeep~."
"... Then you were taught by losers."

[[Vain]]
"Death out of a Father's Pride" ___[Traverse Town .:. Third District]
Vain fell to one knee as Yuffie appeared, relieved to have more help, especially help with intimate knowledge of the enemy. He listened to her words and nodded, attempting to keep his right hand out of sight so he didn't make himself out to be an enemy or agent of the Heartless. "I see. I was not aware that their numbers were so large that I could not simply destroy them. Though... I am not sure they will lose interest very soon." Vain put his right hand in his pocket to hide it from Yuffie, unsheathing the Revblade with his left.
What do you think you're doing, Vain? I can't use my techniques if I'm not held by your right hand!
I know... But I would rather not so many people know about my hand. Merlin's reaction, along with Elde's, make it hard to determine how people will react. Some might even view me as the enemy.
Hmph. Have it your way, then. I just hope to don't intend on letting that hand simply sit in your pocket. If I don't touch it every now and again, the darkness might overcome your heart.
Vain nodded, turning the blade around into a reverse style. His sparring sessions with his old friends back in Poeres had taught him a few things about off-handed fighting, and he planned on using it here since he was actually right handed. Why didn't I reach forward with my left hand? That was rash of me to sacrifice my dominant hand to try and save Father...
"Mercy out of a Father's Cry."

 [First District : Courtyard] The gunblader raised an eyebrow at the girl's response, finding it to be rather... well, not mentally stable. He looked away, shrugging at the girl's thanks. This is why he didn't interact with people outside of the other survivors of his home. He didn't understand anyone else. People were... well, stupid.
"Just be careful," he responded to her, leaning his gunblade on his shoulder before some smaller girl looked over and made a sarcastic remark. Another reason he didn't talk to other people- they were pointlessly cruel. As the other male spoke up, Leon kept his eyes locked with Elde's showing a mixture of indifference and coldness.
"There's not much we can do besides get stronger," he said with another shrug, though this one was accompanied with a sigh. He'd seen that guy before, but - as with the others - had never been to concerned with getting to know him. "The Darkness comes and goes. We don't have the supplies to build any sort of countering equipment, so all we can do is defend ourselves."
He didn't really have much more to contribute- that's just the way it had been for years. It wasn't going to change any time soon. With that, he began to walk up the stairs toward the Accessory Shop, not really bothering to stick around for conversation. "A wizard will be here in a few moments to clean all this up. Don't get in his way."

 [Traverse Town : Third District] "It's mostly just the Third District. This place is like their breeding ground or something," Yuffie said with a shrug, obviously not knowing too much about the Heartless anatomy. "The First District's just been attacked for the first time in awhile, though, so that might be why there's such a large amount here. They wake up when dark things happen."
The tone in her voice toward the end had held a bit of bitterness, as if she'd experienced it in some way, shape, or form. Indeed, any time Maleficent stopped by for a visit, you could bet on a Third District flood of Heartless, some seeping in to even the First District. A distinct frown on her features, she gave her shuriken another toss, keeping the rows of Heartless back.
"If you two are headed somewhere, don't bother sitting around fighting- you're already pretty pooped. Just fight your way there," she said, catching her shuriken and slowly back-stepping toward the Door of Flame. "I have to go see an old wizard about fixing up the First District. Think you guys can make it on your own?"

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}
[Traverse Town : First District] As Alex started to speak, Soryuju half expected her to berate him for being stupid. Yes, chasing after a duo who just kicked your a** from here to Wonderland was a pretty stupid idea, but they knew where his brother was. Or, at least, they were the last ones to have seen him. Regardless, when she'd ended up complimenting him instead of insulting him, he raised an eyebrow, the only clear sign of surprise on his features.
At least, until she offered him allegiance. Then he barely managed to reel in his baffled look. Why in the world would she help him? She knew the dangers, she knew the risks, and yet she still haphazardly would dive in with him? That didn't make any sense. But he'd seen her angry, and quite frankly, didn't want to risk insulting her.
"I- well, uh... thanks," he managed to say, standing up to his feet now with the spear still latched to the buckle on his back. "You don't have to- I mean, it's a pretty reckless thing, but... I suppose I could use the help-"
At that moment, some girl had shouted over the ledge, trying to get their attention. She'd asked for the diner, only to insult them. Soryuju's narrowed, seeing straight through her disposition- spoiled child.
"The diner was destroyed by the two assailants," he explained to her, rolling his right shoulder somewhat; it was still pretty sore from that all-out attack. Definitely hadn't been the best decision. "So I guess you'll have to starve. Now-"
Turning his attention back to Elde, as well as the others (Suzuran, Kuumaru, Mitsudo), Soryuju's face became a bit more worried, deciding to ignore the little girl above them.
"How is everyone? Anyone hurt?" he asked, finally catching sight of the young child. "And... why was a child fighting? Do you know him?"

"Soryuju, you don't know the half of being reckless, and you could use the help." Her smile was darker than she had hoped for, but it was the truth. Her entire life was one reckless move to another, evident why her left shoulder and arm were like how they were. What she was agreeing to help with was just another reckless move in her life that may or may not get her killed.
With that settled, she stood up and stretched out her arms. She chuckled softly to herself. "I guess old habits die hard." Alex shook her head in amusement of herself and followed Elde and Sory to the rest of the group, most of whom she didn't know. She stood slightly behind Elde, and raised her eyebrow at the young child. Well now, that was different. | I simply hunt Heartless, nothing more. If you need that, then I am your girl.|

[Hefin]
{The blades don't lead to war, it's the soldier}
[Traverse Town : First District -> Hefin's House] Hef briskly turned away from Cid and plodded down the staircase, making way for his store. He ignored Sory and his growing party, just too exhausted to take notice. Reaching the door to his shop, he tugged on the doorknob until he realised that he had locked them earlier. Grumbling to himself he fumbled with the keyring he kept on his belt and unlocked the door, just to lock it back up on his way through. He did the same for the back door, and was on his way home.
He walked down the glum alley, making sure not to step in any glass. The windows ahead looked whole, so it was good to know that the ENTIRE district hadn't been damaged. He was just a few feet away from his house when he looked through a window and saw a number of figures standing inside. 'Oh now what's this all about? he thought to himself, not wishing to deal with anymore trouble.
Hefin stepped inside and looked around groggily. Spotting Aeris and coming to the conclusion that everything was okay, he waited patiently for her to finish dealing with all these people. THEN he would ask for answers.

{Kweh...[Oh my...]}
[Traverse Town: Second District -> First District]
The chocobo let out a slightly disgruntled noise at Nalo hopping onto him. This was what Enyb refered to as a 'Random Rider'. And normally, he'd buck them off cause they didn't need it or ask for permission, but he was too tired to deal with that process, so he just continued back to the first district.
Looking around, Enyb glanced around, looking at semi-clear humans through watery eyes. They were milling around, talking, seemingly 'busy'. People who were 'busy' didn't like chocobos to bother them...but ooo, there was one who didn't seem 'too busy.'
Going up the the 'girl'((Suzuran)), Enyb nipped her shoulder, hard enough to get her attention, light enough to do no real harm. "WarwarKwehkwark?[Can you help get him off so I can rest?]" He even motioned to Nalo on his back to emphasize his point.

[∫ ʋ ʓ ʋ ʁ ᾲ ɳ] {You look like you fell down a tree and hit every possible branch on the way down.}
[Traverse Town :: First District] "Uhm... yeah. I'll try." Suzu replied awkwardly to Leon, suddenly feeling like a really big burden. The geomancer sighed, the people than lived in this town must be strong... after all, this man was about to push back the heartless, no problem. And supposedly, a wizard was coming to fix the ENTIRE courtyard. Not even her father could fix the palace as easily as this man seemed to claim the wizard could fix it. Well he didn't say he could fix it easily, Suzu just assumed the wizard could, purely because of the way Leon said it... of course, it could be the guy's personality.
"I think we're fine..." The teen replied, looking to her brother as if he was going to contradict her. She moved her scythe to her left hand, to help relieve some of the weight as she looked to Sory. "Are you okay?" She asked before following his gaze to Mitsudo. "Uh. I don't know who he is, but he's wearing our family crest... so." She looked to Mitsudo, hoping he would speak up and clear everyone's confusion, before she jumped up from a pressure on her shoulder. She glanced over to see the bird from before, with beautiful minty plumage. She'd seen these birds before but only on the scrolls that hung in the palace. Suzu must have looked dumbfounded as she tried to follow the chocobo's train of thought.
"You want me ... to... get him off?" The geomancer looked at her scythe, momentarily wishing she had a small weapon like her brother before swinging the large weapon onto her back and pulling the man from Enyb's back. Rather awkwardly too... she wasn't tall or strong enough to pick him up as to not ruffle the feathers so she ended up just dragging the man off his back, Nalo's feet would have made a huge thump when it hit the courtyard floor. But now, Suzu was left, feeling very odd about holding a man about the arms. "Do I just... drop him?"

{Kweh...[Oh my...]}
[Traverse Town: First District]
Enyb warked happily when Nalo was pulled off his back, and he nudged the girl's face affectionately. At her question, he cocked his head to the side. What was she supposed with him? "Wark.[Dunno.]"
And then the chocobo thought about how the male had fed him, and the chocobo(somehow) wedged himself under Nalo so the viera could lean against him while he picked at his feathers with his beak, preening himself and letting damaged, bent, and half-melted feathers litter the ground, while picking out one of his own good feathers and giving it to Suzuran for helping get Nalo off. Of course, he was half listening to everyone's conversation near him. He had no clue what was going on, really, but they were good humans.
At least, Enyb thought, that's how they seemed.

[Mitsudo] "Oh? You've got my nose? *riiiiiip* Well, I've got your arm." [Traverse Town::First District] Mitsudo turned on his heel, ready to sprint off before he had to answer any awkward questions or explain the truth to the princess. But, the young boy froze as she was forced to hold onto some...some stranger. He groaned quietly, moving quickly towards the princess and the man she was barely holding up. "Hime-sama, allow me to take this man from you...He is an unneeded burden." He muttered, eyeing the bird creature that was pulling its feathers out along side the injured man. "This man is near death, and you use him as a feather pruning device...Pitiful." The monk brushed his hand along the chocobo, staring at the minty green color of its feathers. It was adorable...in a way.
