Fallen_Shinku ((Yeah! Another Instance! biggrin BTW Anidzuki, the other Instance you made was pretty awesome; You seem to be pretty good at these things cool And Gummy Bears are so worth eating, even if you are a vegan xp )) [Well, my work (not telling where I work, or what I actually do) is more or less the same, just in a different context (all the recycled stuff I have in my brain from work gets rehashed and I decide whether or not it goes in the RP); it's actually quite difficult to write for an RP cause you have to plan far ahead (and I just figured out where I was going with this one) and HOPE that the people writing alongside you will bite onto certain ideas. If they don't, well, not losing much but you eventually have to plan that at some point in time, he'll jam himself into the story somewhere and will make no friggin sense at all. No build-up or nothing (there's some examples of me just making s**t up cause of a certain someone that happened to just 'appear' in the story like he was there all along. Not naming any names though.) Its actually my belief that if you're in an RP (ESPECIALLY IF YOURE THE MAKER), there better be a story, or else everyone just dicks around for a few days nothing gets accomplished. Since this RP went pretty much nowhere fast, I just started filling in. In any case, bear with me, I'm writing for all three of my characters (and some NPCs) so the next post will be long. Not so much for the CPF side, cause I need to do some build up, but you'll get some action.]

Sophia Bard scanned the entry logs of the CPF main headquarters, looking for any trustworthy CPF officers willing to work a little extra overtime. Running through the list, she noticed a familiar name 'Asuka Akimoto', one of the officers in the congregation room of the Parliament building, sign into the shooting gallery. Since he was one of the officers with Danika, she believed that she should at least introduce herself -- if you don't know your leader, then there won't be any trust, she believed. Entering the elevator, she made her way to the bottom level of the building. The sound of gunfire could be heard echoing through the elevator shaft. After a few seconds, the door opened revealing one of the largest rooms in the building. She entered slowly, waving her identification to one of the security officers in a monitoring station. "Hmm... where is he.." She muttered, pulling up a photo and description of Asuka, "have you seen this man?" She placed the photo against the glass screen of the monitoring station, where an officers glanced over it for a second and pointed far to the other side of the room. "Asuka Akimoto, I presume?" She shouted, over the sound of gunfire. ---- Umi arrived at the industrial complex just south of the northwestern wall, Umi and Roman used to train here as kids, it was the perfect place because of how many paths there were and how massive the complex was. In the center of the area, was the wastewater recycling plant, which was a perfect place to practice accuracy. Suddenly, Umi remembered a conversation he had with Roman. Flashback "Ray!" Umi shouted, "wait up!" Umi ran as fast as he could, but could never keep up with Roman. "Are you tired already?" Roman replied, breathing deeply. "You're really good at running," Umi replied, almost out of breath, "you got better so fast." "Nah," Roman smiled at Umi, "you're the one who's amazing." "Don't lie to me! I can barely keep up with you half the time." "Your stamina is just low, but I think you're a lot better than me," Roman replied, "you've got amazing sense Umi, you see things before I can even think of it. You do jumps that I could never make." "What do you mean?" Umi asked with a confused look on his face. "Look at that wall over there," Roman pointed, "how would you decend it?" "Well... I would jump to that vertical sewage pipe, and slow down my momentum," Umi scratched his head, "then after about 3 feet, I would just drop to the bottom." "Wait.. what?" Roman looked over the area, "I never even saw that pipe. How I would do it, would be to land on the scaffolding across the way, then return to the original side by landing on the ladder." "Why would you do that?" Umi replied with a confused look, "that's really slow." "Normal people, like me, would probably die using your method. Anyway, lets keep going, Master is making us dinner if we can finish the course before sunset."
Umi stood back up, dusting his jeans off, and scanned the area for a way to the top. Suddenly, he noticed a small crease in the wall which he didn't notice before... "Right, I remember there was a hidden path here, Umi thought. He walked through the path, and heard people talking as he walked further in. Hugging the wall, he peered around the corner to see three people dressed in black outfits, like they were preparing for a mission or something -- one of the men was carrying a large backpack. "The others will be starting the mission soon," the man with the backpack announced, "we'll continue with our current run." "Sir!" the other two replied. The three of them stood up and climbed out an opening just above them, they seemed to be trained in running, but they didn't have any form that he recognized. They must be some sort of special ops, or a military outfit. Following behind, Umi climbed out after them. They were carrying something important, and Umi bet that was what Sophia Bard was after. As he arrived at the top, he noticed the three of them stretching, it was the perfect time to attack. Umi vaulted onto the top of the building, and rushed into one of the men, slamming his fist in his solar plexus. The other two men turned around, and got into a fighting position. "s**t!" the package handler shouted, "disperse!" The two men ran ahead, leaving the third behind -- it was obvious that the package was more important than their comrade. They leapt across a large gap, one of the men almost slipping off, which Umi followed closely behind. "He's fast! Pick up the pace!" Umi followed the men, which seemed like they were not heading to a specific location. They were trying to lose Umi before they could reveal their trajectory. After a few minutes, the two jumped off the building into a smaller room. Umi followed suit, and landed into the room -- Thwack! a wooden board smashed into Umi's chin, causing him to crash through the window. Umi struggled to land properly, but he bounced off against piping strewn all over the area, eventually crashing into a pile of debris on the bottom. --- "Warning! Blood pressure decreasing!" an computerized voice alarmed through the comm station, Vulcan instantly got up and ran to it as fast as he could. "Umi's in trouble!" he shouted as he panicked, "computer! Locate Umi's position!" "District 7, Wastewater Treatment Plant"Vulcan remembered that he secretly placed a peace of microfilm onto Blakely this morning when she was finishing her laundry, he fiddled around with the computer before finally connecting with the transmitter. "Blakely! This is Vulcan!" he shouted through the device, "Don't ask questions, Umi is in trouble!" [There's more, but I figured I should break it all up.]

everything that go screwed over Elaineenicole: Quote: Blakely heard a voice coming in her mike and jumped, dropping a vegetable. She then realized it was Vulcan. “Where is he?” She asked, totally disregarding Vulcan’s command. He quickly said the destination and she set off, running faster than she had in a long time. Blakely ran past the path she had just previously taken and wasn’t surprised when she heard some CPF’s yelling at her. “That’s a Traceur!” One guy yelled. “Stop running!” One cop yelled, she could hear him pull out his gun. But then another desperate CPF realized who she was and desperately yelled “That’s Blakely! She’s worth 10,000 don’t shoot her!” It was the same flirty guy from earlier. “s**t.” Blakely said and took side paths, outrunning them as fast as she could. ‘Water treatment plant.’ She thought over and found it. Blakely looked around the area trying to find him. She ran across a ton of pipes, some smeared with blood. ‘Oh my god, Umi.’ Blakely thought and kept going through the junk. She then saw Umi on the ground. “Oh my god.” She said, slightly panicked. She ran to where he was at, tripping slightly. She quickly looked at his wounds. Blakely took out her small knife and cut her white jeans. She then used the fabric to apply pressure to his bleeding chin. She then checked his pulse, it was low. “What did you do to yourself?” She whispered and started pressing her hands on his chest, moving them to help his pulse. She needed someone else! Was Vulcan coming? In the background Blakely could hear voices in the background. They were far enough away that she had time and maybe they wouldn’t go over here. She had been found in yet another city, and her price had been raised yet again. ‘Dad, I’m going to kill you.’ She thought. Blakely took her attention back to Umi. She needed to fix some other wounds to help him. “What’s wrong with him exactly?” Blakely said to the mike, hoping Vulcan would know. “What should I do? I worked on regulating his heart beat. It’s slightly better, but wont last long. I don’t have supplies, I need help. He’s bleeding in a lot of places; I’m working to wrap those up. He also seems to have some broken bones, I think he fell.” Blakely said and continued working on wrapping up his wounds and applying pressure on them. So far her jeans were capris, since she kept cutting the fabric for him. “Oh god, I hope he doesn’t have any back injuries.” Blakely whispered. (( I’m assuming he’s outside by the pipes area. Right? sorry for controlling Vulcan for a second, but I couldn’t really do anything if I didn’t know the location. You didn’t say it.)) Anidzuki: Quote: [was expecting two posts out of that lol oh well.] Elaineenicole: Anidzuki: Quote: [Lol, good learning experience!] Vulcan ran as fast as he could, his body was still aching from his old injuries. His adrenaline seemed to nullify his pain, he was in a rush and needed to get to Umi quickly. After a few minutes, he noticed Blakely far into the treatment plant, Umi laying unconscious on the ground. "Sorry, I took so long, I brought a first aid kit." Vulcan scanned the area for onlookers, judging from Umi's injuries, he was attacked and the attackers could still be close by. Noticing the glass on the ground, he must have fell from the building about five stories up. "Careful, Umi was attacked," He whispered to Blakely, pulling out bandages from his first aid kit, "he's going to be fine, just a few bruises but he took a big hit in the head." He wrapped all the visible injuries tight to slow the bleeding, but he needed to take him back to his apartment to clean him up before stitching up the open wounds. "The debris broke his fall," Vulcan whispered as he checked his body, "doesn't seem to be any broken bones. Alright, grab his shoulder, we need to get him back to his place, we can't treat him properly under this mess." ---- "Target eliminated." "Proceed with current mission, we need the package delivered before the mission starts." "What about him? He doesn't seem dead." "Ignore him, by the time he wakes up, it'll be too late." "Sir." Elaineenicole: Quote: Blakely listened intently as Vulcan explained what was wrong with Umi that he could tell. He probably knew more about injuries than she did. Luckily she knew enough about first aid that she could helped some. Blakely looked up and saw a shattered window. She could barely make it out, but it was obvious. “I think he fell from out of there.” Blakely pointed then helped pick Umi up. “We need to take back roads and move quickly. We cannot allow the CPFs to see us.” Blakely said and looked around. This was a bad city choice. They must have already heard of her. A chick worth 10k, any guy would want to catch that. She didn’t want to get turned in. Blakely looked at Vulcan. “Ready?” ((wow, that was one of my shortest post in awhile. It's not even written that great. GRR. And yepp, i guess so. That's what this guild is about anyways (: )) Anidzuki: Quote: [Just gotta take things in stride. Honestly, it's better to write short and concise posts, then to write large posts with a lot of filler (the story pacing starts to get warped, and timeskips appear unnaturally). Quality over quantity rule, which is why I prefer to write more dialog than action, in reality, you can probably describe about 15-30 seconds of action before it starts to sound awkward, then you notice everything written before turns stale.. Anyway, I'm done for the night, kinda want to wait till the others post so we don't get this weird time gap in all our posts.] Elaineenicole: Quote: (( You're tottaly right. It just annoys me when i write short undetailed post because i prefer the post that put you in the chracters shoes. But you have to be a good writter to write long post like that that doesnt turn stale (as you put it). My friend rach and drakie, oh my goodness. they are masterminds. In a action rp like this, short and concise post are better. I'm not used to this much action. My other action rp is a school rp, so it's more petty drama. I just got to get in the hang of this before my post can actually be good. It's all about learning though. Ha, i reread my long post and was like "gahh, i soo shoulda done that" of course i'd realize that after i post. Oh well, to late.)) Fallen_Shinku Quote: Asuka was busy on the alley, clearly concentrating on his practice. This isn't good, he thought, disappointment clouding his face. The target down the alley had a number of bullet holes ripped into it, evident of its use. The holes were peppered all over the upper half of the piece of paper, though only about half actually found itself in the shaded portion, depicting the silhouette of a man. Taking the earmuffs of his head, Asuka decided it be best to take a rest. That was when he heard his name, faintly, over the sound of gunfire. Leaving the earmuffs to rest on the bade of his neck, Asuka scanned the large room. Many people were using the facility, though someone else was here; Someone whom looked like she didn't belong. Asuka saw the woman, recalling her identity. That politician... What is she doing here? Asuka swiftly packed his gun back into its case, and returned his alley to its original position. Then, carrying his dismantled sniper rifle in its case, he walked over to the senator. When he was at a comfortable earshot distance, Asuka stopped. "Miss, are you looking for me?" Anidzuki: Quote: [It took me five hours to get home today. My fingers are freezing off, anyway, no posts from me today, I can't move my fingers fast enough.] "Yes, I was," Sophia replied, "I just wanted to meet all the members of Danika's team personally." Sophia extended her hand towards, "judging by your look, you already know who I am. It's a pleasure to meet you, Asuka." ---- "We wait for the signal, have you confirmed the target?" "Yeah, black unmarked van." "What's holding up the others?" "They got held up by an unexpected visitor, they've confirmed that they're enroute." "Good, keep a low profile." --- Vulcan slowly hoisted Umi over his shoulder, trying to share the weight of his body. "Ugh, he's heavier than I expected," Vulcan joked, struggling to keep Umi upright, "We should hurry, he's starting to bleed out." Vulcan searched the area again with his peripheral vision, the presences he sensed earlier seemed to no longer linger. Giving a big heave, he pulled himself forward looking to exit the area from the rear, however, they would eventually get into the open. Fallen_Shinku Quote: ((It seems to be fixed now, gonna re-post my thing here)) "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Senator Bard." Asuka promptly returned the shake. He didn't want to hesitate, a sign of uncertainty and weakness. And most of all, he didn't want to show disrespect to the senator, especially one that is holding his life in the palm of her hand. "It's my honor to serve with her, Danika I mean," Asuka replied respectfully. "Though I do hope she will get over the situation with her father. I do not want anything like that; It could jeopardize the whole mission," Asuka continued, a hint of worry tinting his voice. "But something had been worrying me," Asuka commented. Asuka looked up into Senator Bard's eye. "What did you suspect Mr. Hessler of? Sure, he did try to overthrow a government, but what makes you think that he had help?" I'll delete these post if everything gets fixed. I'm sure we can get this rp to work again though.

"That's confiden-" Sophia paused for a moment, pressing her fingers to her forehead, "you know what, it's probably better that you know." She checked around the immediate area for any onlookers that may have been interested enough to eavesdrop, "we've been investigating Hessler's activities for the past year and a half. We were using that runner, Roman, to carry out deeds outside of the CPF boundaries. Every time Hessler got his hands dirty, we sent him in to clean up, but we could never find any evidence against him."
Sophia reached into her briefcase, pulling a list of communication logs. "Recently, Hessler's activities have been more frequent and evidence of his plans has been leaked, we knew he was planning to strike against the Parliament for months," Sophia commented, "for Hessler, it seemed to rushed, like he was on a deadline. That's where our investigation ended, we have no suspects, but my job is to make sure we didn't leave and stone unturned -- which is why were running this priority one, highly confidential investigation. To be honest, I'd love to tell you more about what I do, but I'm already straddling the line between overstepping my boundaries."

(( so, i posted all the post so we wont lose anything. Now i'll take my time and reply. If y'all want to delete the orignal post that is up to you.)) Blakely helped Vulcan carry Umi, but tried to take the majority of the weight. “yea, I guess he is.” Blakely joked softly, trying extra hard to carry majority of the weight. She followed Vulcan’s league, since she had no clue where she was going. She just followed all his actions. Turning when he turned, quickening her pace when he sped up. The only bad thing was they we’re going to be in an opening soon. Where cops and people hungry for money would want to snatch her up. ‘Please don’t let them see me. I just want this guy home safe. Please.’ Blakely prayed as they walked. She never even did anything wrong, yet the law wanted her more than she ever thought possible. ((Uhh, I didn’t really post much because I wanted you to take the lead in the walk back home. Since I don’t really want Blakely to be seen by the cop fellas. Soo, you can take most of the lead.))
