Hiryo looked up at Kudo eyes sorrowful. "You should open it Kudo..it just going to haunt you if you don't." He rested his head against Kudo eyes close. "It's hurting you now."

"I know... it hurts... it hurts...." Kudo was shaking now. "But I... please... Hiryo help... my hands... they're shaking too hard, I can't open ... I can't open it..." Kudo had never acted this way... the last time he'd been this way was when Rokurue had come at him slashing off his clothing.

Hiryo laid his hand over Kudos and placed it on the letter helping him open it. "I will always help you lover."

The envelope fell away with Hiryo help and Kudo took a deep breath steadying his hands. First he scanned the letter, entranced with the fine script handwriting, that was Rukurue alright. The blood seemed to have seeped into the letter making the paper a brittle red but the font was still easily readable, not smudged like it should be. Kudo took another deep breath and began to read, and halfway along the first sentence it seemed that a soft and gentle voice not belonging to Kudo began to take over:
'My Dearest Kudo,
I love you. I was the worst, the worst friend you could ever have. I knew that that 15 year old face lusted for me but I'd never oblige. Please know it wasn't because I hated you, no, I wanted you, I love you. I always will my Kudo... but please realize I was the worst person for you to hang around with. You may remember in the beginning how close we were, then some bad s**t got to me, drugs and crimes Kudo... and they threatened you. I was their dog to protect you, if I shunned you it was in hopes of them leaving you alone, of them realizing you weren't as important to me as you were. I may seem evil to you ... and for doing what I did I know I probably scarred you forever and I'm sorry. Sorry is a miniscule word which can not even comprehend how sorry I really am that my life... my ******** up life... hurt your innocent face so much my darling Kudo. I bet you, if we're alive reading this together, you're laughing at me for sounding like a girl. If I had the chance, I know I'd ruffle your hair, it was always so gorgeous, and those ears... those adorable fox ears. I wanted so much to tug on them and tease you.
First please, I'll tell you how I'm writing this letter... if you notice, the script looks different in the next paragraph. That is because my brother was too drugged to finish the next part of the story, but I was part of the gang too and so I followed him as was my mission and I'm writing this to you because I can... Rokurue managed to scrawl the first paragraph even in his drug dose, that's because I was assigned to give it to him. The gang was tortourous. My name by the way is Kuroku if you ever need to look for me. I wrote the next paragraph as my brother would've written it. And Kudo... I do not blame you... for my brother's death.
Please now... seriously... I'm going to explain what happened and such. They said they'd been following you... the gang I was forced to work for. They told me they saw how much I wanted you and they made my next mission rape. They said otherwise they'd rape and kill you themselves... I knew if I hadn't been drugged up... I could've gotten your forgiveness afterwards, you were too innocent to not forgive me. But ... they drugged me.... with all sorts of crap I don't even know... Kuroku knew and please don't think bad of him.... they were holding his pregnant wife hostage. Anyway.... in my drugged state I grew violent, not really seeing people. They shoved me towards you and I'd forgotten, too screwy to see or know who you were. I did as I was told and began to rip your clothes to shreds. You cowered before me... your tiny body trembling under mine as I raped you. You tried to resist, crying and right as I realized it was your voice I panicked. You took the dagger I didn't know I was holding and we fought over it, my vision clearing I saw I'd slashed your eye, but as I tried to pull out and away from you in shock, you killed me crying.
I'm sure Rukurue did not wish this pain upon you.... and to the woman who found this letter. If you want to know how you found it with him, I dropped it into Rukurues coat when the boy was dazed. Yes it was blood drenched but that's why I'm what they call 'the ninja' of the gang. Kudo, don't let this stop you from the joys of life. I'm sure my brother would be so happy if you were to find another lover, a lover whom you could cherish and whom you could give that pleasure to without the pain. I'm sure my brother wishes he told you he loved you, and I'm sure he wishes he could've had you without raping you... just don't make his mistakes and don't deprive your lover. I ... I can only hope though that you'll never forget my brother and that you may be able to see from your eye, if you can't I apologize. Please come looking for me, I'd like to see how've you grown.

Samuel sighed rubbing his neck standing up. He walked just along the edge of where he was out of reach. Not close enough to get injurerd. It was almost to tease Irari that he was so close yet out of reach. "Listen to you." He shook his head. "I'll forgive you because your my friend." He smiled looking up and into the wolfs eyes.

Samuel almost grabed the wolfs hand but held back the urdge incase it was some sort of trick. "Really now? Off guard?" He chuckled. Then he would just keep getting him off guard. "I caught Mr. High and mighty off guard? Wow, thats better then finding out hes ticklish." He winked at the wolf. He was on a role he thought.

"ITS NOT MY ******** FAULT I BLACKED OUT YOU GOD DAMN...." His eyes glazed over for a moment and then Kyo stared at him. Kyo hopped back and forth, then tripped over himself, choked on the chain and let his tongue loll out of his mouth. He blinked up at Samuel struggling 'gainst the chain. "WANNA PLAY WANNA PLAY?! LETS PLAY! HA YAY!" He jumped back and forth on all fours.

Hiryo looked down at the letter reading it. Slowly tentivly he looked at Kudo. "You..you going to go?"He asked shrinking back eyes close 'I'm..I might lose him..I don't want to loose him.' He thought.

"Going to..." His voice was in a daze, as if he wasn't really there. Then he dropped the letter and latched onto Hiryo, burying himself in the angel. "I've been a fool... Rokurue.... and Kuroku... they're both right... I shouldn't deprive you Hiryo. I love you, and I won't be like Rokurue. I'll be happy, and open with you... and yes, I want to go see Kuroku... but I'm betting he's dead Hiryo. By writing this letter with Rokurue he betrayed the gang... they've killed him." Kudo suddenly knew his friend had loved him, and no one ... no one blamed him for his death. Kudo had loved Rokurue and as long as he was blind in his right eye Rokurue would always be his first love, and everything just made sense now. It just made so much sense. Kudo needed to see Kuroku, he needed to make out some sense of everything. Unfortunately though, Kuroku was dead. He didn't know how he knew but he knew Kuroku had to be dead and looking for him would cause problems.

Hiryo whimpered at first before sinking into the latch nuzzling him. "You won't know for sure unless you try." He said softly looking into Kudo eyes. "Even if he is dead there..there is Noah."

"Noah?" Kudo said questioningly. He shook his head, "I won't. If I go and they find out they'll come after me... and you... you'll be in danger because of my stupidity. No then the whole thing will start like a cycle. I'll just do as Rue-chan wished... and as Kuroku wished... I'll be your lover in the fullest extent Hiryo." Kudo gave him a cute smile of warmth. Kudo then started to cry, cry the tears he didn't really cry from the shock of killing his former almost-lover.

"Shadda mentioned him he dances the dead..he summons spirts." He started and smiled sofly Kudo. "Kudo...pleaes don't cry." He reached out pulling Kudo close nuzzling him.

Kudo couldn't stop, through his sobs he choked out his words. "I'm... I'm sorry... but.... I never got to cry... when he died.... I had to bite my lip and blame myself... I never got to... cry." And he clung to Hiryo as his tears fell, and his shoulders heaved as he kept close to his lover, knowing Hiryo would let him cling.

Hiryo curled around Kudo soothing stroaking the wolfs soft hair resting his head on Kudo's letting him cry it out. "It..its alright cry all you want to."
