Garaden sped out the door nearly smacking into Naito. Smiling an apology he did his best to calm down. He heard it too. "Cats! She was right."
Ivan trotted out. Hearing the kittens, he flashed Nimue a small acknowledging smile. Then he faced the woods and narrowed his eyes, moving to stand next to Atreyu. "They're not the only ones. The wolf is out there too." He said as the wolf's growls became clearer. He looked at Atreyu. "Name the plan."

Kai threw the snow at Rudolf and laughed. His laughter was instantly snuffed out when he heard the meowing and growls. His fur bristled and he looked around.
"What the-" He frowned and looked off across the backyard.
Atreyu looked at Ivan, then at Garaden, Rudolf, Naito and Kai then back at Ivan.
"Alright, there are six of us against one wolf. We already know those kittens have to be pretty frightened right now so we need to calm them down...get them to trust them so we can coax them from the tree. Naito, Kai... I'm going to need you two to sneak behind the tree and try and calm the kittens down. Rudolf, I'm going to need you, Ivan and Garaden to come with me and circle around the wolf and make sure there is only one. You never know what may happen. When we're sure it's only one wolf, Garaden, Rudolf, I want you two to approach the wolf and get him to leave. If he doesn't and becomes hostile... back away at once. Ivan and I will engage him then. Is that alright you guys?"
The wolf leaned his weight against the tree and it began to bend. The kittens let out more frantic meows and yowls of fear as they clung to the branch. Losing its grip, an orange tabby nearly fell off but managed to keep somewhat of a firm grip. It hung there, hanging on; just waiting for the moment it lost its grip and tumbled down.

Rudolf was hit in the head with some snow. He looked instantly to Kai and smiled. He then became serious as he listened to Atreyu's plan. He gulped when he heard his role but told himself he could do it. "Okay me with." He said. He looked to the others to see if they were ready to go.

Naito nodded his head."That plan sounds alright with me." He then tried to approach the tree as quietly as he could as well as towards the other side without the wolf. "Hey Kittens. Why don't you come over here. It's safer since the wolf won't eat you." He thought for a minute. "I wonder if food would help."

Garaden took a deep breath and nodded. "Lets do this." He said determindly, suddenly very calm. He trotted over to Rudolf. "Here we go.."
Ivan watched Garaden, making sure he'd be alright. Then he shook his head, instantly his mind on the task. His head snapped up as the kittens' calls seemed to change. "It'll have to do. They sound different out there, and not in a good way." He gave Atreyu a nod and ran off toward the woods, vearing away from the stranger, intending to work his way in from a slight distance to look for extra wolves.

"That's simple enough. Good luck everyone." Strangely, Kai blocked out everything around him and he instantly become serious. He crept across the backyard towards the trees and weaved in and out of them until he was a tree away from the kittens. He looked up at them and then at Naito.
"Food? But neither of us have food to give them..." He said quietly, not wanting to draw the wolf's attention to them. He looked up at the kittens and smiled warmly at them. "Hey kitties, kitties... it's alright."
One of the kittens looked at Naito and Kai and meowed down at them.
Atreyu made sure all the knights had went to their positions before he raced off towards the forest. He darted in between the trees and sniffed around the bushes, keeping his attention on hearing either his knights voices or hearing some new stranger. When he had found no other presence in the woods on his side, he crept along the ground towards the wolf attacking the tree to get the kittens and looked to see if he could see Garaden and Rudolf. He was tense, ready to jump out the moment the wolf turned aggressive
The wolf snarled at the kitten that was hanging from the tree branch and hadn't noticed that two of the kittens were looking at Naito and Kai trying to figure out whether to trust them or not. He made an attempt to jump at the kitten but missed by mere inches. Landing on his paws, he began to pace about; trying to figure out what to do next to get them.

Rudolf sneaked towards the wolf and kept a look out for any others. He tensed when the wolf jumped trying to get a cat. He saw that everyone else was nearly in position. No one was coming in from the front so Rudolf decided that he would take that way. He slowly crept in from the side and then headed for the space between the wolf and the tree.

Naito thought for a bit. "Well do you want me to run back to the house quickly or get a fish nearby? I was raised in the wild so I can get food pretty quickly." He then looked up the tree again trying to make an effort to make the kittens trust him. "You can trust us. We're trying to help you against the wolf. Here kitty kitty kitty." He felt strange doing this, but he did not know what to do to try and gain someone's trust. Normally he would do favors and give them things they would love.

Ivan stalked silently through the woods. Finding no other wolves, he made his way to Atreyu. He went to his friend's side as silent as before, his eyes on the wolf after the kittens. He remained aware of Atreyu's presence, muscles tensed to leap out with him if the need arose. His eyes narrowed slightly as Rudolf and Garaden came into view.
Garaden slipped into the woods, heading past Rudolf, then Kai and Naito. He was going to come at the wolf from the other side of the tree. With him and Rudolf in front, and Ivan and Atreyu behind, the wolf still had the option to run away to either side. He plastered on his most authoritive face and followed Rudolf's lead, heading for the space between wolf and tree.

"Hm... if you think that'll work, it'll probably be easier for you to hunt for the fish." Kai whispered to Naito. "You get some fish and I'll try and continue to coax them out of the tree."
Kai turned back to cats and began to try and mimic cat noises and meows.
Atreyu glanced at Ivan out of the corner of his eye as the young wolf came up beside him. With Ivan there with him, he knew that there wasn't another wolf in the area. Now... he just hoped that this wolf didn't get hostile.
Surprised by the fact that there was now a pinkish wolf wearing a white scarf and pilot goggles and a black wolf with strange white markings now standing between him and the tree, the wolf growled at them and twitched his tail.
"Get out of my way losers, I have things to do." He snapped.
One of the kittens looked at Kai and Naito and then back at Kai as he started to make the kitten noises. It meowed and jumped from it's perch to land, with claws extended onto Kai's head.

Rudolf stood his ground between the wolf and the tree with the kittens. "Not no do can." He said, "Now leave you." He was ready for if the wolf became violent or at least he hoped so.

Naito quickly and quietly ran off to the waters edge away from the kittens and the wolves. "Let's hope I'm still good at this and not a house puppy." He then looked at all the different types. "Hmm...I would say salmon is a good choice since a lot like that. Or maybe catfish since they are kittens." He smacked himself on the head for his stupidity. "I'll just stick with the salmon." He then tried to grab the fish with his teeth as he caught a hold of it. He then ran back towards Kai as quietly and quickly as he could. He then spat the fish onto the ground. "Here kitties. We got some nice food for you."

Ivan's tail twitched as one kitten jumped from the tree. Naito and Kai were doing their part. Now, as long as that stranger didn't get violent...
Garaden planted his feet next to Rudolf. "Your business here is done." He said in a low, forceful voice. "I suggest you take our advice and leave."

"Ow!!!" Kai hissed as the cat clung to his head, refusing to let its hold go. He looked at Naito and smirked. "Nice job, that looks tasty. If this wasn't an important thing, I'd eat it myself."
Atreyu peered over to where Kai and Naito were and he winced when he heard Kai's whispered 'Ow'. He looked to the wolf to make sure he hadn't heard.
"There's one more kitten..." He whispered to Ivan.
The wolf growled at Garaden and Rudolf and shook his head.
"Ha, you have got to be kidding me. Two young pups trying to tell me what to do?" He growled at them and tensed; his ears twitching as he thought he heard someone say 'ow'. "Now why should I listen to the two of you?"
The second kitten caught the scent of fish and let out a happy meow. It gave one last long look at the kitten still hanging from the branch and jumped onto Kai's back. Moving quickly, it jumped off of Kai's back and onto the ground to get a few pieces of fish. The last kitten still in the tree wiggled about, still trying to pull itself up. Almost falling, it let out a sharp meow.

Rudolf bristled at being called at pup. "Kidding not you." He said trying to sound intimidating, "Knights be we and stronger you than." He tensed too. He almost turned around to see why Kai was going 'ow' but stopped himself.
