She looked at him, and it was like she knew exactly what she was thinking. "When logic fails us, emotion and instinct are our next greatest resource. Do what feels right to you Stefan, don't let it drive you crazy like this... You don't need to second guess." she said going to make two omlettes.

He nodded and sat down again. "After I eat I am going to walk around the grounds, clear my head." He had to think, and having her around hazed his thoughts.

She nodded understanding and continued to cook. It didn't take her long, and she stayed quiet so she wouldn't agitate him.

He sighed and placed his head in her hands, his elbows on the table. He wished he had something to say to her, to calm her nerves.

She just kept pretending everything was ok and she would be fine. When he went on his walk she just sat still running through her mind all the potential scenarios.

When he got back he just pulled her up and then pinned her against the wall. He kissed her deeply and held her close. "I don't want you to leave, and I want you to continue to share the bed with me." He wasn't sure he was ready to say that he loved her, but he didn't want her to leave and never find out if he would fall in love with her.

It definately shocked her system, but she was hooked on that kiss. "Ok." she said softly her hands holding his face gently. "I trust you." she spoke only what se meant. He was starting to see that. She never said anything unless she was certain of it.

He growled softly and picked her up, placing her on the counter and kissed her even deeper, grabbing her hips and pulling her close. He had to break the kiss, he just had to or he would hurt her. He moved and nuzzled into her neck, making his body tense so he wouldn't hurt her.

She smiled softly and touched his cheek " You wont hurt me." she said trying to sooth him. She knew by now, she could take alot of abuse, and from him it felt more like affection.

He shook his head and held her tighter. "I'm not human, I can't be gentle. I would be hurting you if I did anything else." He pulled his head back and showed her his fangs that had grown, feeling her blood under his hands making them do so. "And getting bit by a vampire hurts." He whispered as he looked away, letting go of her hips.

She caught his hand " I don't care." she said. She wanted to give him what she could, to make happy and take care of him the way he does her. It didn't seem right to not give him everything.

He shook his head and looked down at their hands. "I can't do that to you, not yet. And if I take what we are doing even farther, then there will be a high risk of you getting bit, and I can't stand to hurt you." He whispered as he looked up at her with pained eyes.

She stood and graced him with a warm inviting kiss on the cheek, hand resting comfortingly on his cheek. "I'm lucky I found you. You're sweet, and good, and whole, but not perfect.. nor do you claim to be, and that makes it feel ok to be with you, and be honest with you... I just want to take care of you the way you do me... that's all. I hope someday I can make you feel safe too..." she said the words so innocent from her lips, so honest and pure.

He let out a shaky sigh and his his face in the nape of her neck, wrapping his arms around her waist. "You do." He grazed his fangs along her neck, wanting her to get an idea how much it could hurt, and how much it could be pleasurable.

She wasn't afraid of him, not in the least. Pain didn't scare her either, not if he inflicted it. She was a tad masochistic, and she couldn't lie to herself, he was beautiful beyond words.
A few weeks passed and she decided to let him move at his pace and to just go with it. He'd make the best decision for them both, and she was content to kiss away his fears and keep him warm in the night. Tonight she was in one of the old fashioned gowns, looking just as she would have before her body was stolen, the gown long and full skirted, but for his veiwing pleasure she'd cut a slit in the side, all the way up to her hip. Her black heals were polished neatly and the tight corset was coupled with a boat neck spanish blouse, short sleeved. The colors matchered her eyes all greys blues and blacks with a touch or two of white and mute brown in places. She's curled her hair last night returning to her comfortable state, looking her best and doing the household chores.
