The silver studs in his left ear glinted as he turned his head, his sides burning as he took a deep breath. he knew that voice. Come on Erik, get better. ignoring the sorness in his chest he attempted to sit up, his lips thining as he gritted his teeth. with a last effort he finally gave up, allowing his head to fall back in her lap as he managed in a cracked whisper. " just.. a moment. sorry." his Cyber shades, neon green and imposible to see through, hid his eyes.. but his stiff posture told everything. the fits came more and more, and it shamed him that of all people Alhena was the one to find him like this.

The two Shadows, soothed that their master was alright, relaxed. Kara, fickle as ever and reassured the danger was over, dashed for the water.. vanishing just as she would have hit it. in another moment she took shape again behind the girl, nudging her gently and knocking her back into the water. Korin simply sat at the waters edge, watching them play as he stood guard over Erik and Alhena.

Banshi took Mercy into the forest, leading her into a very deep and hidden area. It was dark, as she led her. Finally, they came into a very large clearing, where all the standing trees had no limbs and were long dead, like large dark sticks rising out of the hard ground. The moon was above them, so that entire area was illuminated, shadows from the dead trees reaching out like black arms out into the seemingly eternal darkness of the forest. "Are you ready, Mercy?"

((Sorry if it takes a bit for me to respond each time, have a lot to do ^^; and don't worry about it, I'm sure the update you provided is very nicely done.))

Banshi looked over at all the trees, different ages, thicknesses, and strengths, along with a large stone colum which stood among ruins. "First, let's test just how strong you are physically. Please begin with the dead trees, and work your way up to the stone column to see your variation in damage. Don't hold back."

Banshi smiled. "Good, now try that with a few other trees, and then with the stone column. You're doing great." I wonder just how strong she is... after this, I will either see how well she can do in hand to hand combat, or else I will test how fast she is... doing the first option would cover that, though.

Banshi laughed. "Well, I did see you crush marble earlier, so I should not be shocked in the least. You do not seem to be damanged in the least, but you are lacking balance. However, you are so strong, we should focus on controling that strength now and work on your weaknesses later. Now, we need to see how fast you are, discover any more minor weaknesses, and see exactly how good you are at combat, as well as the hunt." Banshi stopped, and laughed a little bit more at seeing exactly how dirty she was. "Sorry... sorry. So first, I want you to hit me, and we'll spar a bit and see what you can do. After this, we will play a game of tag as a way to rest for a bit, then if you are still up to it, we can hunt tonight. If not, I can go get some dinner and bring it back, alive, of course."

Banshi easily blocked, then jumped to the side and pulled out a knife, of course, not planning on using it. It was dulled, but for the sake of training, Mercy did not need to know that. Good, now just keep attacking.

Banshi blocked each attack, often using the angle she was at to push Mercy's arms away from her as they swung at her. Although Banshi was actually weak physically, knowing what angle and where to strike at is always a saving point. Mercy, read my movements, and plan out your swings before you strike. Act on instinct and your sight, use your eyes and see what happens next.

Banshi smiled, with one knee on the ground, then stood up and started clapping. "Well done." Banshi didn't even have a scratch on her, nor did she break a sweat at all... she could of kept her balance if she wanted to, among many other things, but that was not the point. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a small bottel with a red fluid in it. Tossing it playfully at Mercy she said, "Drink that, it is watered down, but it will be enough to revive you a bit. Now... we work on that other side of yourself, so you can fully control yourself at any given moment. And, we continue training. But I am impressed, Mercy. I can already tell you will become very excellent." Banshi's face was very kind, and with full honesty, very happy in appearence. She was happy for Mercy, and she honestly praised her for already starting off so well.
