Landon still felt weak, so he moved slow as he slipped his bracelet on, Stephanie right by him again when she came for her own, but she didn't even look at him...
He found himself dying to know what she was thinking, while relieved that he couldn't.
So, as he walked behind her, his eyes were on her, wondering, curious, and also, also just because.
He wouldn't have even looked at the guy, except he noticed his eyes on her too, and could guess just where from the front. He glared, feeling those old pangs of jealousy. Yeah. Just like when they were together.
Landon never freaked out because he didn't think she would cheat on him, but he'd still get like this when other guys did nothing but stare at her breasts or a**. And not care when it was obvious.
Still, he said nothing, as he followed them up, going just fast enough to come to right to Stephanie's side, so close, but not touching, though all he wanted to do was reach out and take her hand, or, maybe even put his arm around her.
And still, he said nothing as they moved through the building, up to a higher floor.
The silly thing was, Landon hadn't thought about how this whole thing would probably mean they were sharing a room.
That is, until the guy opened a door, handed the key to Landon, but was looking at Steph when he said, "Here is your room. Enjoy."
Landon walked closer and stopped, only one bed too......
"Um..." he turned around, but he was already walking away down the hall.
He looked back, and upon further inspection, as he stepped in, after another glance at Stephanie, he could see not only his suitcase, but another set at that.
He stood there a bit awkwardly, trying not to think of how things would end up that night.****************************************    As soon as forever is through

Stephanie had lost her flip flops sometime too. Her feet hit the rough pavement but she didn't bother to think on it.
The buff guy, kept sneaking glances back at her too. Because she had slowed her pace a bit ago to let him go infront of her.
His burning eyes on her back was just too much at the moment. She didn't want to have to concentrate on not shaking her hips or whatever.
Perv.
Then Landon came up beside her. She only peeked over at him, not speaking or really doing anything. They were headed up a few stairs when her hand brushed against his.
She felt that twinge of the past as she pulled her hand away, unwillingly. Her lips parted as she averted her eyes at the ground and trudged up the stairs and to their room.
Buff guy opened their door and handed the card to Landon, but his eyes remained on her.
"Dammit dude, seriously? Be a little more obvious." Okay, so tension was making her antsy.
She pushed passed him as he walked away and she stepped into the room.
A chill ran up Stephanie's spine as she turned to look at Landons reaction.
"I'll.. just sleep in the chair or something. Don't worry." She pulled the rubberband from her blonde locks and plopped down on the chair, infront of her bags.
She unzipped the bag, and of course, whoever moved it didn't bother making any of it organized. Instead they had thrown all of her s**t together.
Not that her packing skills had been exactly neat in the first place. But still!
She started yanking through the clothes, trying to find something warmer when the jacket from earlier went flying to the floor. But she let it go unnoticed as she yanked on an oversized t-shirt, over her bikini.

Stehanie's hand brushed his, and he had turned his palm to take hers in it before, but before he even realized he had done that, she moved her hand away, and he felt like an idiot. She didn't seem to notice at least...
But he had wanted to take her hand so badly it was ridiculous.
Landon clenched his teeth to keep himself from spewing something out himself as Steph called the staff guy out on his staring.
But then he turned around to look incredulously at Stephanie.
"You have to be kidding me. As if I would let you sleep on the chair." he shook his head, almost, almost smiling.
"If anyone did, it would be me, and you know no protests could change my mind. But uh" he paused, could it really turn out ok?
"I... I think we can both be mature enough to share the bed...?" why did he feel like he was asking himself and not rhetorically which it was meant as. Actually, should that have really even been a question?
He was still watching her as she went through her stuff, but wasn't really paying much attention.
That is, until an incredibly familiar item came flying out.
Landon bent down and picked the jacket up, looking at it in wonder.
"You... you still have this?"**************************************** As soon as forever is through

Stephanie didn't bother putting the things back. Her clothes were aways spewed across the floor. Had been that way since she was in highschool acually.. maybe before then.
Either way, it was her habit. And those were hard to break.
"Landon its really not a--" But he continued.
And Stephanie couldn't help but let a sarcastic comment slip out, "Well. I didn't want to tempt you too much."
But he was bending over and picking up her stuff. "You don't have to clean it up, if its a bother," She got up and fell back on the bed, so comfy! "I'll clean it up."
But he was asking her something, about one of the things she tossed aside.
"What?" She sat up, her blonde hair a mess but falling naturally just at her shoulders.
"Oh that.." A blush creeped onto her cheeks.
"Uh.. yeah. Why wouldn't I?" She exhaled, blowing the hair out dramatically.
"It was.. I mean.." She muttered, shaking her head, then falling silent.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James continued to kiss her, even as she hesitated. He was leaning toward bracing himself for the slap, when her lips moved against his. He opened his eyes t see that she had closed hers, and was really kissing him back. Really.
His eyes closed again and shivered as her hand traveled up his stomach and chest. He was glad he hadn't put a shirt back on yet.
And wishing she hadn't either.
But he was happy, s she not only let him do so, but intensified the kiss herself.
Really, it was unexpected, because he hadn't dared him for even less then this. He was so sure she loved Landon more then him, regardless of what she said. It was just.... how distressed she was, not too mention how he always made her smile... Just like he used to...
But the thoughts of such things melted away as her tongue slipped into his mouth, grazing his teeth just before his came up to meet hers. Oh, she tasted so good, like he remembered so vividly.
He moved his tongue against hers, his arm snaking around to the back of her neck, while the other was at the small of her back. He pulled her in a step, so she was pressed up closer to his body.
James held her tighter, forgetting about anything else, just this kiss, this amazing kiss. That, and her feel, her touch, the knowledge of the woman in his arms. It made him feel so good. ..And even when your hope is gone

Things started to get a little steamy, she couldn't deny it. The way he moved his hand to the back of her neck, making her take a step forward so her body could be pressed against his. He was holding her so tightly, the temptation was overwhelming. But he kissed her first. In case some one brought this up. He kissed her first, and well she did kiss back.
Her fingers slowly went into his hair more, to hold herself even closer to him. Why in hell did she get dressed? Oh yea, cause she was thinking of Landon at the time and thought it would be better. What an idiot. She needed to think of herself at a time like this, or else she was going to get hurt. Er. That already happened.
But it didn't matter, she didn't feel anything. Her body was on fire, and James was the one causing it. But there were differences between Landon and James. And no matter how much she didn't want to think of something like that at a time like this, it couldn't be helped. They had different types of faces. James jaw was more heart shaped, more round compared to Landon's, except he had the longer hair, which is what she liked personally.
Her lips moved before she even realized it, away from his mouth, and along his jaw, before settling in at his neck. Most likely enough to give him a hickey at that spot. She was lost in the world of James again. Remember when she found this spot for the first time in high school, and what it did to him. Just under his adam's apple, towards the base of the neck, that is where she resided for a few moments.
Wonder if it still has the same effect, one way to find out. She continued to suck and nibble on the side of his neck, her hand holding his head to the side to allow her to do this, but as soon as she started her hand left his head. Trailing down his chest and stomach again, just to feel his skin against her palm. She just wanted her hand everywhere, and that thought surprised her only a little. She has always wanted James one last time, but what if it wasn't one last, but the first of a new beginning? One didn't know the future, but one was sure going to enjoy the present.
But her shirt was seriously getting in her way. She wanted more. Her lips ached to touch every part of his body, her hands trembled to touch all of him. She wanted him, right there, right now. She wasn't going to play nice either. All the bottle up emotions made her rough, in a sense, it's so much to feel at once, that it comes out in angered movements, enjoyable. Her teeth came down into his neck harder then before, but enjoyable none the less. She just wanted his hands all over her at that exact moment as well. Currently there was only Kaitlyn and James in the universe.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James' body was on fire by now, and the pleasured surprise he received from her response made it all the better. He definitely hadn't expected this, even if she did kiss him back. And oh did she kiss him back.
He started to rub the spot on the small of her back, contemplating much more then that, when Kaitlyn moved her lips away from his, down his jaw and neck.
He gasped, squeezing her tighter and tilted his head up to make it easier.
Meanwhile, as she sucked harder, his hands ran over more of her body before they started to slide up the back of her shirt, his fingers pressing into her soft skin.
He clenched his teeth, with a small hiss, a good kind, as she bit him, letting his hands slip up even more.
That was when James opened his eyes and looked off to the side quickly, before maneuvering them over toward the couch.
James set them both down, sitting, for now, and moved closer again, kissing her neck, multiple times instead of just lingering, all the way down to the line of her shirt. He pulled his hands back out to the ends, and started to slowly pull it up, giving her time to stop him, while seriously hoping she wouldn't.
He wanted her so bad right now, and it seemed she felt the same way about him. ..And even when your hope is gone

When his hands went up her back, she nearly tore into his skin. It felt so good, his warm hands against her skin. But that's when she felt herself being moved, then softness underneath her. The couch? She liked where this was going, she lifted her lips away from his neck, with the intentions of kissing him again, but his lips weren't there. Then she felt them, on her neck.
She breathed in deeply, feeling his lips go all the way down to her shirt. That's when the fabric of her shirt slightly rubbed against it while he lifted it slowly. She moved her arms, so the shirt will be able to come off easier, in taking air sharply when she remembered about her arm. But that can wait till later, she will just be underneath him.
But she moved her arm carefully through the sleeve, the towel was still wrapped around it, and it was fine. Like she wasn't going to die or anything. It looked a lot worse when it happened then it did now. While her other hand slipped through her sleeve without any trouble. She even assisted taking it off her head. Course she just had her bikini on underneath it, but that only had straps and was easily removable.
Her lips came back on his hard. While her good hand held him to her. She didn't like this vertical angle they were at, and slowly she allowed her body weight to be pulled towards the couch, pulling him with her, so he was on top of course. She sighed softly against his lips, how long has she dreamed of this moment?

He didn't answer when she mentioned cleaning things up, he was just looking over the state of the jacket. In decent condition still, but it seemed like she wore it often...
He glanced over when it seemed she was gonna answer him about that, though it was somewhat rhetorical.
She was blushing too... it made him think that just maybe, it wasn't thoughtfully placed in with the rest of her stuff? Eh. Probably reading too much into it.
"Oh well... I dunno.... it's just... I got for you a long time ago..." he scratched the back of his head with his free hand, still holding the jacket in the other. Then he moved over to the suitcase and carefully set it down on top.
After he moved back over toward the bad and sat down next to Steph. And of course, it wasn't until after he sat down that he thought maybe he should get dressed too.
Stephanie had already put something on... he glanced over at her, his eyes drawn to the damp spots on the front of her shirt from the wet bathing suit, so he looked away quickly before he was caught staring.**************************************** As soon as forever is through

"Meant a lot back then.." Stephanie watched as he carefully set it down on top of her bag, her eyes more drawn to his body as he beant over.
She inhaled sharply.
Had to keep control right? He was still technically with Katy. Not even technically. He was with Kaitlyn.
Wait.
"So if we're being forced to stay together does that mean James and Katy...?" She sat up a bit straighter, looking over at him.
Were his eyes wandering..?
No. She was reading too much into it.
Earlier was a fluke, blast from the past. It was over now. Besides, he said himself he had to think of Katy. It wasn't fair to her.
And true, it wasn't. And when you thought about it, Steph wasn't exactly worthy of a second chance.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. Kaitlyn helped him with the potential shirt dilemma, so James pulled it all the way up and over her head as soon as she raised her arms to allow him to do so.
It took a few seconds longer, when she had to be careful because of her arms, but James was moving slow and easily for her. Savouring the moment, as if it could end any second. And for all he knew it could.
She could come to her senses and push him away.
But that seemed far less likely to happen when she immediately pressed her lips to his hard, and taking it slow seemed so silly. As Katy pulled him back with her, he also leaned forward, moving one leg over to the other side of her, so that he was completely over her.
Their lips stayed locked in the transition, until they were down, and using his elbows to prop himself up only, he moved his head down more, trailing kisses over her neck, and passed her collar bone, right into her cleavage. He shifted his weight enough to be able to move his other hand over her body and around the line of her pants from the side until he reached the button, meanwhile, his lips still lingered on her soft flesh as he worked it out. ..And even when your hope is gone

Kaitlyn was aware of who she was with. James. Not Landon, but James. Who knew what the hell Landon and steph were doing at this point in time. But right now, she is getting everything out of her, which was desperately needed.
Her head tilted back as his lips left hers to go onto her skin. But still, once his hands reached to her pants, other thoughts popped into her mind. She wanted this, but... Just... Oh no.. Her good hand acted against her bodies wishes, and more so her thoughts. She took a hold of his wrist. "Stop..." Course that wasn't convincing at all. It was like when someone who was enjoying it way too much said it just to get the other person riled up even more.
Maybe that's why she said it, who knew. Of course she didn't want him to. Oh no, she didn't want that. But who knows how he will take it. Things were far to heated to just put it to a stop like that. Plus now they were both half naked, who didn't want to see it progress further at this point.
Now that she had his attention, however, her hand trailed down his hand then up her own body. Her stomach, chest, then to her neck. Her fingers untied the knot that was behind her neck, once loose she arched her back and undid the others quickly, tossing her bikini to the other side of the room. Yeah, it felt good to have nothing on, she had to admit, nudists were smart that way.
She scoot them both up, causing her pants to go past her hips and butt, where is would be easier to take off, and allowing her to bring his lips to hers. Where her tongue snaked it's way in again, giving her hand a chance to rub up and down his chest before moving around his side and pulling him closer to her. Real close. Good thing to, after she did, a few moments later, a minute or so, someone came in.

"Only back then?" Landon blurted out without thinking. He blinked, and looked away awkwardly. He knew how she felt about him now, after everything she had said, and yet, still found himself looking for reassurance. And when it shouldn't matter either way!
Oh right... Yeah, about them....
"Um, well, I would guess. Makes sense anyway... Lure them both off and keep them somewhere else, just like we are here..." He had sort of thought of this possibility earlier, but didn't give it much thought.
Katy wouldn't.... right? Wow. He really hadn't given that enough thought. But yeah, he didn't think she would do anything with James. Just like... like... Landon had to not do anything um, more, with Stephanie.
Yeah. Yeah. He had to trust Katy now, and keep that thought in mind to be good himself.
Landon kept looking around the room, but he always felt his eyes drawn back to Stephanie, when he would look away quickly again before, um, before... Before what? He was drawn to her figure? Her hair? Lost in her eyes?
Such thoughts just made him try to avoid looking at her even more, and fail even more.

Stephanie swallowed, much harder than she had any other time. Because that stupid lump was creeping back up her throat.
"You know it still means something now. Don't be stupid."
Yeah, she wore his The North Face jacket that he had given her in high school, at least three times a week. But never around James, that seemed to be on purpose too.
Not that he would know, just the fact that it felt wrong. Weird, not wrong.
But back then in the hotel room, when she had slipped it on by accident.
Dammit, she should have stayed home with Hayley.
How long would they be stuck here? She needed to contact her kid. This was all too much.
She plopped back on her back and her chest heaved with a sigh.
"I don't trust James." She blurted out.
"I mean. I do. Just.." She sighed. "With what I did last night, he's bound to still be livid about it. Being reunited with Katy, its only gonna make things worse for him and I."
Was there even still a 'Stephanie and James' at this point?
Even if they left and Katy and Landon were fine.. there was no going back to James after this.
There was no anybody else after Landon.
He was her soul mate, she was dead set on that. And she had ruined it.
At that thought, she couldn't help but feel tears starting to escape again. Without a chance to stop them.

Landon took a long breath "Mhm.." he mumbled. Aagh, why was this so damned hard??? He hated such awkwardness, when he knew, just knew, everything would suddenly feel so comfortable, if he just scooted a little closer and put his arm around her and held her close...
He blinked, yeah, he'd been staring at her that time, no, passed her maybe, still seeing her, imaging doing what had gone through his mind.
But now he glanced down at her as she plopped back down. He looked up immediately though, sinc eis eyes had immediately locked on her chest as it rose in a sigh.
But then he looked back instantly, at her face.
"What... what did you do?" Landon asked, somewhat curiously, but also with worry. Wait, if... if James did something... tried something... would, would Katy still push him away? Not let him? She would, right? That was why he had to do the same with Steph...
But what Landon didn't get, was what Stephanie could have possibly done to make James angry enough, or enough for her to think, that he would cheat on her?**************************************** As soon as forever is through
