Darius growled and ported to where he and his brother had their last argument, wondering if he was there.
Jenny didn't hear who it was since her hearing wasn't as good as her father's. She got up and ran downstairs using her vampire speed."Who...has...my mother?" Jenny asked, feeling a growl starting to build up in her throat.

Gabe sighed shaking his head, "I said your brother has her."
Aiden was sitting against the tree nearby. The boy looked to be normal for the moment, but it wasnt clear to when he would change back

Jenny tensed visibly. "how...why...ugh! I'm so stupid! I should have been listening instead of putting on my headphones...If i had been listening she would have been still sleep."
Darius walked to Aiden as calmly as he could "Aiden...where's your mom?" He asked quietly.

Gabe turned human and took her hands "Jenny. I caught it when it was maybe a few hours ago. Nothing can be done right now unless your dad gets back."
Aiden looked up at him and started shaking, "Uncle took her...He...I...I didnt want to do it...He made me...Every time he does it...it hurts.."

"If you tell me how to stop him...I will help you Aiden. He won't ever hurt you again. Help me get your mother back and to stop him." Darius said softly.
Jenny nodded slowly before she fell into his chest, letting silent tears roll down her cheeks.

Jenny nuzzled into him. "I feel like I have caused all this..." She said sniffling.

Aiden nodded "He went deeper back into the forest...there is a small creek with a hut. I dont know what he wants with her...but dont let him hurt her..." he looked down, "It's all my fault.."
Gabe shook his head, "You didnt do anything wrong Jenny."

Darius shook his head. "it's not your fault. I'll remind you of why I try to keep Angel away from your Uncle later...but for now...I've got to go. Be careful and just hang tight." Without another word, Darius sped off through the forest using his vampiric speed.
Jenny nodded. "I know...but still..it feels like I did. Aiden acts like my existing is killing him. My parents aren't really ever around and when I finally tell how I feel for you....all this starts happening..."

Aiden sat there just quiet
Gabe sighed, "Jenny, I know he would be lost if he didnt have you as a sister. And your parents care. They do a lot more than my parents ever did."
