"We didn't kidnap her! She has a broken rib. We're taking care of her. We didn't know she was a part of your group anyway. Donut?" Edward offered the the bag over to Ayame. "And she has a broken rib because...I...jumped out a window from thirty feet up. And landed on her. Don't ask. I'm pretty sure I was drunk. Anyway, we...I felt guilty, so we gave her a place to stay." He turned to Gem. "So, Ms. Ninja, what's your real name? I don't think you would give it to us so easily."

Mark leapt out of his bed and grabbed his sword setting the pouch down. Mark ran into the other room, Mark narrowed his eyes as a group of theives had come into their house. " Why are they in here ? " Mark demanded, pointing at them.

Gem shook her head a confused look on her face. "I'm not in a gang... And I told you I'm not a ninja. I'm a maid, Not a ninja. My name is Kam." She shook her head confused as to why he didn't believe her. "What's going on here?" She asked again and put a hand to her wounded chest wincing as she tried to sit up and look around more.

"Yeah. Drunk." Korsu said rolling his eye's, "You were just being brainless." Then turning to the thieves he said, "And who's kidnapping? We took her in here so she didn't have to crawl to the nearest doctor." He snorted in disgust and let go of his sword and crossed his arms. Noticing that Gem had sat up he turned around and gently pushed her back down. "Stay down. and just give up your guise. No maid has a body built like yours." he said as he backed up a bit and turned slightly back to the girls.

"Hmm...maybe you guys do have hearts." Ayame sayd, then shook her head. "Nah, because if you did, you would realize what we're doing is for good." She looked at edward. "You really are a moron... Aren't you?" She said after hearing what he did to Gem.

Edward laughed nervously as he was called a moron. "Yeah, I guess I am. Heh." He did blink as she seemed to be shocked at the fact that they weren't heartless monsters. "What made you think we didn't?" He sighed when she mentioned that it was for good. "You really don't get it, do you? What you're doing isn't good at all."

"It's obvious that she's not part of our gang. Why would we accept help from people that are trying to kill us? How idiotic is that." Maaya crossed her arms. Secretly inside Red Wolf's sleeves, she was switching out her daggers. They would probably be used this time. Her hands were only protected from the sharp tips by her fingerless gloves.

Sakura caught the glance that Ayame gave and immediately shaped up. She walked to Ayame and Maaya, rejoining them. Finishing her doughnut, she wiped her mouth with a napkin she brought out from her side pocket, secretly bringing along 2 shurikens with it. Sliding them down her sleeves, she withdrew her hand and threw the napkin the garbage.

"You're killing the spider to save the butterfly, and managing to hurt the butterfly in the process." Edward sighed again. "You know next to nothing about how this place works." A serious look had come across his face, and for the first time in about four or five months, he actually looked slightly angry. "You give stolen loot to the poor. The poor are accused of stealing. Because of people like you, my mother is missing her hand." By the end, his voice had risen, and he had stood up, towering over Ayame. But as soon as the storm of his anger had risen, it lowered. But his voice was a deadly calm. He turned toward the kitchen. "And it's not growing back."
((EDIT:I'm logging off. Don't do anything awesome while I sleep and camp. It'll all be good.))

"Incase you didn't know, things don't work like that here." Ayame had thought that through before she even though of doing it. Thats why she always left a note at a house she stole from. It was her way of taking the blame for it. The note normaly had a picture of a black fox and smelled like perfume.
When she gave the money to the poor, she always left them a note to. It told them to buy what they needed from the town over, that way, no one would know of the money they had recieved. "I'm smarter than the average thief." She said, her tone tone very friendly. "I'm sorry about your mother. Whoever was responsible for that is a moron." She said, her tone getting softer.

((Sorry I didn't post much yesterday! My sister is turning into Bridezilla >.>))
Yami had quietly followed behind the girls. She figured it was best if one of them wasn't seen so she could do a sneaky attack if need be. From her hiding she could see her girls were conversing with the mercenaries and Gem was not happy to see them. 'I'll wait out here,' she told herself. If worst came to worst and a fight broke out, then Yami was going to go in and help out.

"In case you didn't know, they do." Edward crossed his arms, but had become his normal self again. It had been a moment of weakness. He didn't intend to stay angry, or turn angry again. "Most people are terrified anyway when they receive the stolen things, and they haven't the faintest idea what to do, so they hide them. Then the men in charge come, accuse the family of being guilty, and as punishment, someone goes through physical pain of some kind." In a spacey sort of manner, as something to do, he tapped his metal arm. It went tink each time his fingernail made contact. "Don't feel sorry. You'll waste the energy I know you're saving to try and make a mad dash out of here with. I can't fathom why you still think we want to kill you, but there you go."

"Because its your job to kill us, and how would you know how things went down here? You just arrived, did you not?" Ayame said. She wasn't planning on running just yet. Under her mask, her eyes were narrow, and she didn't look happy, no, not at all. She didn't like it when her motives were said to be bad. Who the hell did this guy think he was?

 "Sorry for any misinterpretations, but I don't kill people. And we've been here for a week or two, actually. I think. Man, I need to remember these things better." Edward thought about it for a moment, then turned back to Ayame. "There's no need to be so angry. After all..." He got a strange, goofy look on his face. "This kingdom is made of love and peace. Say it with me!" This was an example of how quickly Edward's mood could change. Undoubtably, he would soon be asking the girls if they could all just get along, real peaceful like.
