Delaine tilted her head slightly, wondering how Sora was able to identify Kirak's race. However, she said nothing more as she leaned on the wall and waited for Kirak's response. She was eager to go to her own room and change, take a shower, and get some rest on a bed for once after their little adventure. For a moment she remembered Edge's words, but then brought her focus on the situation at hand. It's not time to think about those things...Why am I even thinking about it?!

Kirak picked up the crystal pendent on the necklace at looked at it "It told me I used to be human, but I don't remember any of that. Just the dragon woman waking me up saying something about an experiment.." he sighed and glanced at Sora "I don't need anything..thanks anyway."

Sora Laughed a little. "thats ok, I don't remember anything either... I don't even know for sure if Sora is my real name it is just what people started calling me when they saw me so I just kind of adopted it.... I don't even know my for sure age..." He said thinking back to when he can first remember... waking up in the ruins of a house and town... "I don't even know what happened or why I can't remember... I just woke up one day and there I was." He said in an unusually light tone... especially for something as somber as loosing all your memories.

Delaine remained leaning on the wall, not saying a word. Realizing that the atmosphere had become a little heavy, she decided to leave. Standing up she looked at Kirak. "I will be down the hall, so don't hesitate to call me if there is anything you need." She said with a small smile. Walking to the door she patted Sora on the shoulder. "And you, Sora, get some rest. You deserve it." With that she exited the room.
Arriving in her own room she took off her cloak and Zhirra made its way to the window, knowing that Delaine wanted to be left alone. Allouette sighed, noticing how dirty she was. Making her way to the bathroom she began taking a shower, happy as she washed all the filth away.

Kirak nodded at Delaine as she left, then tilted his head and looked at Sora "..so we are both remnants of unknowns beings, lost to our former lives..." he let the pendent slip from his hand and sat up, stretching a bit to make sure all his muscles were working again.

"I guess... in a way that is true." He said looking out the window in thought and then back at Kirak. "But... if I had my memories and I knew what was going on... then I wouldn't have met Delaine or Edge, so it really isn't all bad." He smiled warmly looking at kirak but then looked away. "and...." He said looking kind of solemn all the sudden. "and if you never have a family that you can remember... then you can never loose them... it is sad being alone... but worse if you had someone to begin with... ya know?" He said in a bizarre tone, it was odd hearing something so depressing come out of a 17ish year olds lips especially one as normally happy as Sora, but he just looked at the ground and back up at Kirak as he saw the pendant glimmer as he let it go. "May I ask... What is that?"

What Sora said was quite true, Kirak nodded in agreement though he didn't feel sad about being alone, he hardly felt much of anything actually. Glancing again at the pendent, "The shadow said it keeps most of it's power there so it doesn't strain my body." He finished stretching and rolled back into a handstand, then flipped onto the floor landing lightly on his feet. "I think I feel kinda hungry..."

Sora cocked his head and looked at the pendant. "Do you know what the shadow is?" He asked as his stomach let out a loud roar at the word hungry.... He grabbed his stomach embarassed at how loud it was. just realizing he hadn't eaten anything since the Geo-Fortress emerged and was now remembering that he was incredibly hungry. Sora watched him flip and smiled."so I guess you didn't need as much rest as we thought." He said walking out into the hallway motioning for him to follow him "Well shall we go to the kitchen then?"

"I only know what it told me.. It used to be a demon, but was used by the former Le Vaes in an experiment and lost its physical form." Kirak followed Sora and shrugged "Quick healer maybe.." he said as he glanced around the hallway.

They walked down the dimly lit hallways before entering a set of double doors revealing a lavishly stocked kitchen... "So... I am not really sure how all this food came to be here.... no one has had any time to do any shopping since it appeared.... but I won't question it..." He said gawking at the food opening multiple cupboards "help yourself our castle kitchen is your castle kitchen! oh and speaking of the La Vaes.... do you think she is going to come looking for you?"

"I don't think so, she saw me as nothing but a lab rat.." Kirak looked over the food "..the Fortress has more then enough food to last centuries, it keeps the food frozen in storage." he spoke absentmindedly as he picked out some meat, fruit and water.

"I don't know... maybe she just treated you like a lab rat but in reality you could have been her tool to our destruction.... a diamond in the rough.." He said looking at the boy astonished as he stated how the tower provided food. " I guess that makes sense but how do you know that for sure... maybe it is a subconscious memory or something..." He shrugged grabbing some vegetables throwing them in an oiled frying pan and beginning to fry something good smelling.. "So... how old are you? Because demons have longer lifespans... but you weren't born a demon... so it is very difficult to try and guess." He said admiring the dark haired boy before him as his food began to simmer and he added some spices and peppers further enriching the enticing aroma.

"I don't think so, I remember her saying something me being left from the last Le Vaes experiments." he didn't say anything regarding how he knew about the food, he didn't actually know himself. Shrugging as he let his bit of meat cook through, "Not sure...egh..." Kirak winced as the shadow then entered his mind. 'we slept nearly 15 years, but that was after you grew to the age you were taken.." the shadow faded away and Kirak turned his meat over "...maybe around 30 I guess.."

Sora grabbed some Zucchini and began to chop it to ad the final touch to his meal, as he noticed Kirak Wince. "hey? is everything alright, are you hurt?" He asked looking over at kirak as his clumsy, un-focused hands led the knife right to his finger, Cutting it wide open, he winced a little but he was more worried about Kirak than the his bleeding hand.

"I'm fine, it was just the shadow talking." Kirak glanced at Sora's cut "..worry a bit more about yourself.." a small shadow came from Kirak's pendent and wrapped around Sora's hand, turning into a cloth. He cut his meat a little to see if it was done inside, still too raw.
