Akiko blinked, feeling slightly confused when she heard someone speaking to her in her mind..., "Who's there..?" she said looking around, but she saw no one.

As the masked forces made their way away from the facility a single figure emerged from the forested area nearby the facility. Not a surprising appearance, a tall, muscular man with a set of motorcycle clothes with white hair and a headband, but this was a secured area. The sudden appearance of the man took the soldiers by surprise, was it possibly a counter-attack? Panicking, most aimed their weapons, the rest moved quickly into formation. In a moment a rain of lead was showered upon the man.

Crow's eyes widened as he heard the clicking of automatic rifles being braced against shoulders. He turned only in time to see the rapid flashing of barrels as he was assaulted. It did not last long however. Immediately as they were noticed the flashes stopped and the bullets seized themselves in midair. Crow smirked, it was sudden, but it seemed there was much conflict on the outside world as well.

The soldiers had expected their preemptive fire to bring down the target, unfortunately they would never get the chance to find out. Faster than the blink of an eye the target disappeared from sight, practically teleporting to the outermost soldier's flank. An invisible fist to the skull, he disappeared again. Moving next to the soldier behind him, and meeting the top of his spinal column with an elbow. Then to the next soldier deeper in the formation, before this one could even turn from the man's previous location his skull was pulled down and to his right, then crushed into the target's knee. It continued, and the entire unit is crushed and killed, one by one in an instant.

Crow moved like chain lightning through the crowd, bringing each down with a single blow, each one's power amplified by the speed at which it was delivered. Finally he met with the last one, he lacked a mask. Being last he was unfortunate, having just enough time to realize the situation with an expression of what seemed to be fear painted across his face. Crow stopped short of a skull-pulverizing haymaker to the center of the man's face. The man's gun was down, and he was not composed to attack. Crow simply grabbed the man's skull with a single hand and tossed him over about a dozen feet, into some brush near the woods. He proceeded to move towards the building, rounding a corner and disappearing from sight.

((Oh my, well, I actually meant to spare the life of the Forge guy. No good killing a central plot point that early. D smile )

Crow moved around to the front of the building, noting the architecture as he moved around the westernmost wall of the building. He couldn't hear anything from inside, not even murmurs, it was likely soundproofed. He wondered why they might take such precautions, the building looked innocent enough. However, considering the fact that just seconds earlier he'd been attacked by a small legion of armored troops this was likely some sort of military establishment. As he rounded the corner and was exposed to the front of the building he moved a bit farther away, into some covering foliage. From there he would take a few minutes to observe the activity of the building, at least what he could see from outside.

Well that went well. The guy didn't even hear her. Oh well...Sil continued on, looking for people to talk to. She wanted to get to know some of the soldiers better. Before she...well thats a story for another day. Sil wouldn't let the fact that she couldn't find anyone dampen her spirits, she just kept searching.

Jason turned towards Derek when his name was called. "Ok...About what? What in the world happened out there?" Jason was concerned about the people, not so much the soldiers but the 'real' people.

At the sound of Derek's voice, Ami's face lit up. Maybe Derek had encountered this female. But the boys had to talk of serious things. Ami heard Jason's concern. What had happened? And was anyone hurt? This were the things that Ami wanted to know.

Derek was about to speak when his radio came to life via the earpiece. He was about to turn it down when he heard his name and he made a face. Rolling his eyes he turned away from the Scientist and Soldier. "Radio Silence, Doc. If she's not one of our staff it's possible our communications has been compromised. We'll talk about it in a more secure area." Derek then turned off his radio and turned back to Jason. "The guys that attacked us are,...to put it simply, friendly's. They're part of the National Intelligence Department and their head guy for all things experimental is an Agent Andrew Forge. I've confronted him on several occasions and each time it's to deliver the same message." He sighed and looked at Ami, his eyes growing soft and apologetic before looking back at Jason. "They...you...us...we're running out of time."

Derek bit his lower lip. If it was one thing he couldn't stand, it was kids crying. He put a hand on Ami's head and rubbed it gently. "They want results...from everybody. They want everyone combat tested." He sighed as he stopped rubbing. "Every soldier you've ever created needs to have at least three sets of tests and they must pass with at least a 2 out of 3 ratio." Derek withdrew his hand and turned away from the two putting his back towards them. His eyes focused on the Security Camera, glaring into it, working his jaw for the right words. "And we just failed the first test. If this works like how I remember it, the other two will be determined by us. We'll be given as much time as we need. But as little time as anyone could ever possibly be spared on this project." Closing his eyes his mind seemed to drift elsewhere, yet his mouth still spoke truth. "Tensions will be high. If we move too slow. The NID will take extreme measurements to keep everyone going. And I promise you...you do not want to go there."

Davros focused on an image of the door Dr. Akiko described. he unlocked it with his mind and began to move through the hallway again. as he rounded a corner he saw someone he didnt know. "hello" he said nervously to the woman standing in front of him.
