Misura shrugged, turning away from the girl. "That's the only reason I'm following you, so I don't die. You're lucky there's even that condition. Because honestly? At this point, if that... Loki wasn't making me do this, one bratty little girl would be missing one loud little head. I will be ready to go when it comes time, but until then don't rush me." She whirled, face whipping into a completely feigned but still rather scary expression of pure rage. "And if you DARE to threaten me with killing me again, I may just decide to take you along with me first. If I'll die anyway, what do I have to lose?"
Then a familiar sensation washed over her, gentle and cool. This was magic, but... it was magic from one person. She could never forget the feel of this one. And the voice... that beloved, lyrical voice, filled now with concern for her. The General's eyes softened, and she turned towards the source of that voice. "Jyoti... thank you," she said with a smile. Unlike the Valkyrie, she didn't bother holding back; she simply moved over to the girl and squeezed her tightly, arms wrapping around her body. "I'm perfectly fine, now... as long as you're here." She looked at the girl with a bit of concern. "So, you were able to get your tome back? And you managed to teach those other men a lesson?"

" Maybe that's the reason why" "You can't ever fly..." Cαsτειιo "Take away the blue..." ______________ Castello pushed himself up and started to head inside, then stopped at the sound of paws in the woods. They were some way off, but Castello's ears could recognize Triumph's pawfalls.
He turned to wait, watching hopefully for the sight of Evelyn, riding with Teifi on the back, holding on for dear li--
Blood. Triumph came to a stop as Evelyn nuzzled and hugged the bloody dancer. The Raven dropped to his knees, staring at his mother's corpse, his eyes twitching with disbelief.
Dead. She was dead. She... she had left him again... just... just like before. Just like before, she had left him and this time, this time, no, he would never see her again, because here she was, bloody and dead.
His hands twisted into his hair as he threw his head back and screamed.

Mika stubbornly crossed her arms again and stared at Jyoti, who was completely ignoring her. She was about to respond... Then, she heard someone scream. "What... Was that?!" Mika said, turning her head towards the door. She turned and ran outside, catching sight of Castello on the ground.
She took a few breaths and surveyed the situation. Teifi was dead... She waited for any of the heroes to follow her...
"Now look what they did. She's dead. Guess who's fault? Eyris."

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤Jyoti sighed in relief and grinned, gladly returning the embrace. Finally... Finally, she could relax, if only for a moment. "Yup!" The valkyrie chirped, staring at the general for a moment before her expression softened into a small smile. "Thank you... for helping me back there. I--"
She flinched, hearing the scream. Her head turned, looking for the source of the noise. "Castello?" The valkyrie shifted, trying to see what was going on without breaking her hold on Misura. She just got all nice and comfortable, after all, and was not enthusiastic to let go unless she absolutely had to.¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Arishoto kajah tilo loshecka iro go feh... Drajmahsta eptome an brehsha...«§hento»
Loud voices. A scream. Shento slowly opened his eyes, and took a moment for his sight to reclaim his body. He sat up, and looked over beside him. There she was, his beautiful love, resting peacefully. It was wonderful.
Curious to know what was happening outside, he decided to go take a look. He stroked Melethia's face, then stood up and put on a pair of shorts. He then went to the door of the room and opened it, and took a step out, seeing some of his companions and that Mika child. Some were standing at the doorway, or outside, while some were still resting on the furniture.
He shut the door to the room behind him, and leaned up against the wall. He looked over at those on the furniture who looked at him oddly for what he was wearing. What was that phrase he often heard Ledreak use, to warmly greet others? Oh, yeah... now he remembered. ".... .....Yo beach." He looked away, pretending like nothing happened.

•I bear the seed of ruin… •A golden age turned to stone… вєαѕтмιѕтяєѕѕ єѴєℓYη Sometimes I wonder why they need me at all! … For this, a tragic journey• … A vision of a dying embrace• Castello’s cry fell on Evelyn’s deaf ears. It wasn’t that she failed to hear it really; it was just that… he mind instantly focused on Mika’s words. As the words feel from the girl’s lips like a ton of bricks Evelyn looked down at Teifi’s body. Her expression was blank, as she stared at the person she called mother. Her birth mother had never treated her well; in fact Evelyn had never felt like she had been a true part of the family that gave birth to her. Always isolating her; ignoring and cursing her existence. It was all because she had been born different. She looked nothing like her other family members and she had been born after the goddess of the moon had cursed her family. It was no wonder they hated her. Teifi was different though, Teifi was mom and the others were the family she never had.
“Shut up!” Evelyn snarled as she glared daggers at Mika. How dare she say mother was dead! She was just a sleeping; she probably stayed up all night like Evelyn and just needed her rest. The wound on her stomach; that was nothing, simply a flesh wound. Teifi… she would be fine! “Stop it! Shut up! You’re lying! Don’t lie to me! Mom… mom is fine… she’s just t-tired. Mama Teifi is just asleep. Don’t say mean things about my mom!” Fresh tears stung her eyes as she continued to cling to Teifi’s corpse. Any minute now, she would wake up and greet them warmly… just like always.
“You… you stupid girl… you don’t know anything! I hate you! Stop lying to me!” Evelyn continued to screech at the younger girl. Then suddenly, she stopped; went silent as her tears dried up and a sick smile found its place at home on the teal haired girl’s face. She giggled once again. It was a soft, broken giggle; occasionally cracking when her throat’s dryness threatened to not let utter another sound. “Ha… ha… you’re so funny, Mika… Isn’t that right, mommy? Mika is a funny girl…”

"Don't be silly, Jyoti. I couldn't just stand by and watch them treat you that way." Misura smiled softly at the girl, not willing to let her go yet. She had her Jyoti back, and she might have to go into a battle soon... that would mean she might have to let go of Jyoti again. No. That wasn't something she wanted to accept right now. So she held on to Jyoti still, not wanting to lose her presence yet. "You are mine... and anyone else who tries to take you will have to answer to me."
But, now there was a commotion. It was a bother, but... Castello had screamed. Castello never screamed, not unless it was something serious... though he played around, he would not intentionally do something like that. This was important. This was something they needed to see. "Jyoti..." Misura murmured quietly, moving to wrap her arm around the girl's waist. "Let's..." She let the sentence trail off, and instead just moved to the doorway to witness the scene. And it was as if a dagger went through her heart. Teifi... was dead? Misura had thought she'd kept her distance, in some ways, but... Teifi had been so kind to them, and the woman had been the central part of their little 'family'. It hurt... the corners of the General's eyes glistened, but no tears fell. No tears would fall. She was not so weak anymore...

"First I cut off their heads, then I pull out their bones..." ll – K Y Ř O Ş – ll + Şαvαgє βєαsτ +"With a cleaver I hack them in two..." Ψ I pull out what's inside... And I serve it up fried! Ψ Teifi had disappeared, it seemed, followed by Castello's entrance shortly after Amelia had ran off. And to see Misura and Jyoti return, followed by Evelyn, Teifi was sure to be close behind. Of course, that was before he made his way to the main room, his entrance slipping in behind the gathering heroes, eyes widening as he spotted his love's body limply placed on Evelyn's steed. The realization struck, hitting the man like a sack of bricks. The woman who'd done nothing but support him, the one who'd saved his mind from shattering, the one who singlehandedly held the ragtag group of heroes together, was gone once more.
Her protector, her guardian, the father to her mother, had failed. He'd not been there when needed, he'd not been able to follow her, he'd not been able to restrain the offender, Amelia, so that due punishment could be given. And what does he get for his failure? Teifi's death. Her corpse sat before his very eyes, painful proof that their lives are as easily destroyed as anyone else's, hero or not.
His senses came into focus after the shock, blocking out Castello's cries and Mika's shouts of blame, shouts and cries from Evelyn, all of it.. Shooting Mika little more than a glare, he made his way to Triumph's side, ruffling the mane of one of the heads, and crouching down next to the Dancer, stifling sobs as tears began to form. He clutched her dainty hand between his own, ragged breaths slowly becoming louder.
His mind raced, gruesome images of pure carnage appearing in his mind, his eyes tightly closing as his grip began to tighten on the corpse's hand. She was gone. Teifi the Fleetfoot, mother hen of the group, the shining beacon of morality and kindness, was dead. And why? Why was such a magnificent woman's life cut short? The group from Eyris really didn't seem that evil, so why? Why would they kill her?
He slowly relinquished the hand, his body quivering as he began to cry. Blame must be cast, the Fleetfoot would never die of something as trivial as animals. As much as it pained him, the burden was to fall on the guild they'd befriended, the ones that they'd cared for, decided not to kill. No more. They kill one of our own, the favor gets returned in spades.
As he rose to his feet, his head was violently thrown back and forth, unkempt hair falling onto his face as the motion stopped. A feral grin crept from his face, sadistic eyes hidden by the hair that had fallen. His hands moved towards the axe, Dullahan, swinging it up onto his shoulder as he looked towards Mika.
"Girl, when do we tear them apart? Their cries will be delicious to hear as we cut them down." He began laughing to himself as the Dullahan began to emit a faint, near invisible light, the blade hungering to cut through the flesh of humans for the first time in centuries. "Come on, give the order! The sooner I start this bloodbath, the sooner we all get what we want..." Ψ______________________________________________Ψ Now I stuff you with bread...
It don't hurt, 'cause you're dead!
And you're certainly lucky you are...

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤A light blush tinted Jyoti's cheeks as she nodded slowly. "Of course..."
The valkyrie followed Misura's lead and wrapped her own arm around the general. What was going on...?
A moment later, Jyoti got her answer. "T-Teifi..." She whispered with shock, not believing what her eyes were showing her. Dead... Teifi was dead. Gone. Deceased. Only a memory of those she was with, never to return.
The valkyrie closed her eyes. She never liked Teifi... Their relationship was rather simple, one built on paranoia. The dancer didn't trust her, and she didn't trust the dancer. Because of this, Jyoti hated Teifi, and she was pretty confident that the dancer shared similar feelings.
But still... even with those feelings, Jyoti never wished Teifi to die.
Kyros' voice echoed in her head, still refusing to open her eyes. If she was feeling bad, then everyone else must be feeling much, much worse... Her hand curled around Antaram, her fingers shifting to hold the tome comfortably and securely.
Battle... was inevitable.¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

Jyoti felt bad as well. Misura had come to know the girl well enough that she could tell these things. And this was not something that pleased her. The general paused for a moment, then pulled Jyoti close once again, bringing the other's head against her shoulder. Jyoti was... taller than her. Just by a little, but... had Jyoti always been taller than her? Misura found tears welling up in her eyes again at this little fact added to the rest. Why? That made no sense... she...
It didn't matter. Jyoti was here, and she would always be strong for her valkyrie. The strong arms squeezed the girl gently, and Misura closed her eyes as well. "You must be strong, Jyoti," she whispered. "This should be... a warning, that it not happen to us. I cannot lose you. I will not lose you. So you must not lose sight of what we must do."

The valkyrie's voice was soft and shaky, barely above a whisper. She was afraid to speak much louder in fear that her voice would crack. She hid her face away from the others by pressing it against the general's shoulder and she cried silently, holding Misura tight and wishing with all her heart that she was stronger, that she could protect Misura as well.
For now, though, she was content with the feeling of safeness and security she had while being held by her beloved general, hoping for the moment to never end.¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

Domanova, who had been quietly reading in a separate area, hurried into the room with his volume still open and in hand.
"What IS going on? I heard yells--"
With a thump, the book fell to the ground, snapping shut. The dancer, so deathly still and bloodied, the tears on the faces of his companions. There could only be one answer.
"...Teifi..."
It was a shockingly numb feeling. He wished he could shed tears, but the entire world seemed to have frozen in an instant. That couldn't be Teifi lying there dead. It was a lie, that wasn't...no...
Then again, wasn't this all a lie? His hands shook slightly. His eyes blurred. It would come to an end soon.
The others would want to avenge Teifi. She was a beautiful person, yes, and yes, it was a sad thing that she was no longer with them, but vengeance was never Domanova's style. He would go along. He would also fight. But he would not fight for revenge.
Domanova picked up his book and clutched it tightly to his chest.
He craved the peace that the fallen dancer now enjoyed. Running into battle with them meant running right into Death's arms, a thought he welcomed.

" Maybe that's the reason why" "You can't ever fly..." Cαsτειιo "Take away the blue..." ______________ Castello jerkily pushed himself to stand, tears in his eyes, running down his cheeks as he moved toward Evelyn and the corpse of Teifi, flinging his arm out. "Shut up!" he shouted as he moved closer, grabbing Evelyn suddenly by the collar and wrenching her away from Teifi. "She's dead," he growled, bringing his face to hers, choking past tears and forcing himself to go on. "She left us again, and nothing... she..." He couldn't form coherent thoughts, couldn't articulate, and it was a strange feeling for one with such a silver tongue as his.
He thrust his arm out, throwing Evelyn roughly to the ground. "Sh-she's not waking up... stop... stop it." His chest rose and fell rapidly, the powerful layered muscles causing his wings to twitch wildly up and down before he turned, pointing at Mika. "Don't you dare speak of her!" His voice cracked as he said it, his eyes streaming with tears. "Don't you say a damn word! You aren't worthy... of, of her! Of us! And I don't... why do we follow you!? I can't... I won't be a..." He growled, his hands sliding up his temples, twisting in his hair, pulling and tugging sharply, strands of ebony snapping off, caught between his fingers. "N-never again! So you just... you just take us there, whatever, to, to kill them... for Teifi, never... never for you... and when we're done, I never want to see your ugly face... never..." His rage petered away suddenly, just as it had come, and he dropped to his knees from emotional exhaustion. Castello retreated into his own mind, and the Tervingi Crest flared. The beast within was stirring as sanity ebbed...

Mika ignored forgave Evelyn's outburst because she knew that in moments she would learn the truth. She looked to Kyros. "We slaughter them.. Soon. The battle will take place when we reach Loki's place. We have to use the door... Don't worry. They'll pay for what they did to your Teifi."
Then she turned suddenly towards Castello, whom was yelling at her. She blinked. She took what he had said with a grain of salt... It didn't matter what he said... They were her slaves... And I'm not ugly...
She turned and began to walk back into the mansion. "If you're all ready... It's time to go make them pay for their crimes..." She smirked to herself... Teifi's death, to her, was perfect... If there was doubt in their mind before, it was gone now... And she would just tell Loki that the heroes had been resistant towards her... He'll fix them!
Misbehaving snots. It doesn't matter... Now...
Now they'd help her of their own accord. "Come on, what are you all waiting for?!"
