((yay!!))
During the silence, Celeste leaned agaisnt the wall, breathing slowly, quietly, barely audible. Her head was pounding and she felt sick. Pushing against the wall, Celestial managed to stand up. Letting herself lean against the wall, she crossed her arms and pushed her feet apart, trying to keep herself standing.
As he spoke, Celeste tried to understand them, but her mind was foggy from losing that blood and spending her last energy on the run. Squinting and trying to get his face into focus, Celestial began to see something weird.
"Daemon... but Winter.. you're dead..."
The man's face had blurred and become a different man, a man with long glossy raven black hair and saphire eyes. Celeste came close to crying, she knew he was dead but she missed him so fiercely.
Slumping down, letting her knees give way, Celestial looked down at her skin and hands that were once very elegant but now looked so angular. She hated what her magic was doing to her, it wasn't supposed to be like this. When magic was out of control it would lash out, but she had always controlled her magic.
Sighing she put her face in herhands, her shoulders wracked with silent sobs. After a couple minutes of that, she forced through tear covered lips a couple words.
"Look, I don't know who you are. Just go away ok?"

Seth shook his head slightly, not understanding how she could be seeing him for Daemon.. it hurt him so much to see her this way, it was unbearable. He wanted to be able to do something to make her feel better, to make her pain go away.. he felt so powerless.
As she slumped down to the ground, he remained silent, a look of pity and at the same time great sadness upon his eyes as he watched this wrecked Celeste sob and weep, her tears running down her cheeks slowly. He got down on his knees and placed his hands on her face softly, gently lifting up her head so her gaze was upon his.
"Celeste.. it's me... Seth.." his eyes were gentle and honest, his voice slow and gentle.. he wasn't sure if she would even remember his name, in this state that she was in..

As soon as Seth's finger's came in contact with her skin, Celeste dropped her hands, her eyes open wide.
"Oh god no.. no, please no."
Her skin began to glow, pulsing as her healing magic escaped her once again. Fear filled her eyes and she quickly knocked his hand away, but it was too late, her magic had activated. It flew freely from her body, white streamers were seen in the air flowing to Seth and surounding him.
Celeste's strength gave way and she collapsed her head smacked the concrete floor with a sickening crack. She could feel her energy and her conciousness draining from her as her healing magic escape. It simply flowed around Seth and seeing no wounds to heal or any scars to minimize, they shrank away and slowly returned to the unhealthy looking Celeste.
Blinking Celestial realised that she hadn't fainted, that she was still alive and her healing magic had mercifully done less harm to her then normal. Glancing up at Seth with glazed eyes, she cocked her head to the side and tried to keep his head from spinning.
"Seth? Oh Gods, don't ever do that again. It's nice to see you and all.. I just don't like being weak. I'll tell you, but you can't come in contact with me EVER, not even with layers of cloth between us."
Taking a deep breath and grimacing slightly, Celeste tried to force words through her mouth.
"When I tried to heal Kurai, my healing powers had left, so I transferred my very lifeforce, but luckily he had enough left for me to survive, for a time at least. I crawled to the church and tried to ask God... whoever that is... to heal me, not for myself but for my daughter and Joy. "
"Anyway, I saw my sister, the twin sister who died when I was 5. She fixed me up right and proper.. but then I got my healing magic back. It went out of control and if I touched anything living, be it human or plant or animal, my healing powers would escape my control and heal them so thouroughly that I would lose my strength and faint. Sometimes days at a time. "
"I left to the jungle to try and fix it, learn control. But I couldn't hunt for food because the animals would come back to life and I would faint. If I brushed a dieseased tree, my healing powers would escape me. The magic ate me so now I look like this. I came here to try to find Iosha in hopes that he could train me.. but I didn't want anyone to see me."
Sighing in relief from finishing her story, Celeste leaned back against the floor and closed her eyes, not sleeping, but trying to regain some energy in order to mover herself to a cot somewhere in the hospital.

Seth was slightly confused and simply stood still as this magic began to circle around him, almost as if it were searching for something. He watched Celestial fall to the floor, banging her head against the concrete as she did so. "Celeste!" he called out, almost reaching out to her, but refraining from doing so, remembering that this mist around him apparently appeared because of his contact with her.
As the magic entered back into her body, he sighed slightly as he saw Celeste open her eyes. "You're ok.." he said with another long sigh, still trieing to take in all that was happening. He had forgotten how much confusion and oftentimes suffering occured in Ria..
Seth listened intently as Celeste began to tell her story, of how all this came to be, of how why she was here, of how why she was like this..
"Wow.." Seth said after a slight moment of silence after she finished her story, leaning back against the wall and letting himself slump down, sitting against the wall with his head leaned against it, his eyes still on Celeste.
He sighed as he looked on at Celeste, who now appeared to be almost sleeping as she lay on the floor with her eyes closed. His eyes looked away from her and towards the end of the corridor, he almost appeared to be trieing to gather his thoughts. "Come on, we should get you to a room.." he said in almost a low voice as he picked himself up and stood beside Celeste, careful so as not to come into contact with her.

Nodding slightly, Celeste adjusted herself so that she would be able to use the cart, braced by her foot, to lever her up. Groaning she set the sole of her boot on the bottom tray and grapped the top with her hands. With her eyes still closed, Celeste carefully pulled herself up.
Concentrating and making sure not to jab her headache, Celestial used her specialized sight to survey the place for an empty room. Finding one close by Celeste sighed and gently pushed the tray on it's wheels, using it as a walker, thinking as she did so.
Perhaps metal would work to keep her powers at bay.. she wouldn't experiment with it tonight, but if the doctor wore gloves with metal in them, perhaps he could attach a feeding tube to her, so she would die of anorexia.
Sighing she turned down a hall and pushed open a door with the front of the tray. Smiling slightly in relief, Celestial collapsed on the beds, carefully manuvering the sterilized blanket over her body. Glancing up at Seth she remarked simply.
"Do you think metal would act as a barrier where cloth does not?"
Her eyes began to cloud over in fever, her head was bleeding sluggishly on the pillow, the bandages on her waist were slowly gaining a pinkish tint.

Seth followed close behind Celeste, maintaing a distance in that if anything were to happen they would not come into contact, though still standing close to her. An expression of sadness came upon his face as he forced himself to shake away thoughts of how Celeste had changed so much, how she was suffering so much.. it was hard to bare.
As she lay down on the bed and spoke to him, Seth grimaced slightly at the sight of her like this, almost appearing to be on the verge of death. "..Celeste... I need to get you a doctor" he stated, ignoring her question. He knew she would want to see Iosha himself as she had specified his name when she spoke of why she had come here, but he needed to do something.. he couldn't just sit here and watch her like this.

Celeste simply nodded infinessimally.
"Go ahead, tell him not to touch me.. or at least try metal gloves, I figure if I pass out it won't hurt so much, it usually doesn't."
Sighing, Celeste once again closed her eyes, and thought of how out of hand this had gotten, she wasn't going to heal fast enough and she needed something to eat. Fluids would be nice to.. but right now hunger bothered her the most.
She began to drift off, remembering her baby who needed her. She had to find a way to get better and control her magic, then she could see little Joy again. Seth was smart, he would figure out a way.
Letting her head fall onto the pillow, Celestial stared at the ceiling, her vision slightly blurry. She wondered distantly if she had gotten a concussion.
Aw well, Seth would find a doctor and then she could get Iosha to help her and then she would be back to normal and could kick Kurai's a** for startign this. It wasn't really his fault.. but Celeste needed someone to blame at the moment, if only to add to her list of reasons why she should get better.

Seth nodded and made his way out to call a doctor, Celeste still concious as he left the room. He arrived back with one of the doctors, his tag read 'Dr. Smith'. To no surprise, Celeste lay now unconsious on the bed.
"Any contact with any physical being could be deadly, doctor.." Seth finished as he made his way in after the doctor, he had been explaining her situation on the way here. Dr. Smith had been simply nodding and listening, and only now spoke on the situation "I'll make sure to be careful as I examine her, thank you Seth" the doctor said with a smile, then turned back to Celeste.
The doctor held a folder in his arms, in which he wrote notes in as he looked up at Celeste, then back down at his notes, his eyes searching every aspect of her body as he began to circle around the bed. Seth stood close by in case the Doctor required any information.
"How long has she been without food?" the Doctor asked as he glanced over at Seth, his question simply responded to with an almost depressive shake of the head as Seth crossed his arms over his chest, leaning back against the wall and focusing his eyes towards the ground. The doctor understood that Seth didn't know, and chose to refrain from asking him any more questions during his inspection of Celeste, due to Seth's fragile state.
As the doctor brought his folder down upon one of the chairs in the room, Seth pushed himself off the wall and took a few small steps forward "What did you find, doctor?" he asked, in hopes of that he might have a solution.
Dr. Smith began to role up his sleeves as he looked over at Seth and began "..nothing more than a physical examination, she is not in a very friendly state... to say the least.. if we don't act soon her body could collapse and her mind die out in a number of days.. she needs food and liquids urgently.. but how will we introduce this into her body?"
Seth remained silent for a moment, his eyes looking over at Celeste. He didn't want to suggest this now, but from the doctor's words, it was clear to him that this was now or never.. if she was this bad today, there was little hope of her being any better tomorrow..
"Metal" Seth replied as his eyes shifted from Celeste to the doctor. A moment of silence before the doctor spoke once again, almost as if he was trieing to find out what Seth was trieing to say "...come again?"
"Metal" Seth began once again "she seems to think metal would create a barrier between herself and others.." Seth replied, not too much excitement in his eyes nor voice as he spoke. "Does she have any experiences that may prove this? Anything that may back this up?" the doctor asked, Seth simply shaking his head. "Then I'm afraid we can't take that risk" the doctor said as he knew contact with Celeste would only make things that much worse.
".....you have no other choice" Seth said almost bitterly as his eyes fixed onto the doctor. He was tired of sitting around and waiting for Celeste to react and get better on her own. The fact is that this just wouldn't happen.. the metal idea seemed to have some structure to it, and it was best to try it than to wait for her to die..
The doctor remained silent for a moment as he now looked away from Seth, gathering his thoughts. He then replied with a nod "Very well.. I shall call the nurses in and we will begin" the doctor stated, then began to make his way for the door.
Seth sighed slightly and sat himself down on a chair against the wall, leaning his head back on the wall as his eyes looked up at the cieling. After about a half hour, Dr. Smith and his nurses entered the room in full OC clothing, the equipment being brought after them in a table, one of these tools being a pair of gloves coated with a thin layer of metal inside it, enough so that the hand could be flexible and there was still a decent layer of metal.
"I'll have to ask you to leave the room now, Seth.." the doctor's voice was muffled as he spoke through the anti-bacterial mask and began to place the gloves on. Seth nodded and made his way out of the door, awaiting patiently outside for the moment the doctors exited.
Almost a half hour later, Dr. Smith left the room with a large smile spread across his face, contagiously catching onto Seth as he did nothing but glance up at him "Succe--whoa!!" the doctor began, but was quickly interrupted as Seth raced towards him and picked him up off the ground "If you were a woman, I would kiss you, Doc" Seth said playfully as he punched the doctor lightly against the arm and began to make his way into the room, then stopped for a moment and looked back at the doctor "Is she awake..?" he asked calmly, the excitement slowly dieing down as he took control over himself. The doctor shook his head and replied "No, she'll be resting for quite some time... you're free to accompany her inside however, it is still visiting hours" the doctor replied with a smile. Seth nodded and made his way into the room.

Cynthia was happy someone offered her a room, but she was unsure if she should accept or not. Surely if she shared a room with someone her secret would be discovered by that person. Maybe she should just tell her. She was confused as to what to do.
"Ummmm Thanks for the room offer. How open minded are you if I may ask?"

Kira smiled gently as she leaned against the wall. "I happen to be very open-minded. Why do you ask?" Kira watched the girl carefully. She then looked at Nemia and raised an eyebrow in question. Nemia spoke on their personal link. "She is a fairy. Or a partial fairy." A smile crossed Kira's face, ghostly at the most. A fairy. So that explained it. She turned her attention back to the girl and spoke softly. "But before you answer my question, I will tell you this. You have your secret and I have mine. I will not tell you mine so you do not have to tell me yours. And either way, I am just as hunted as you, so you have nothing to fear from me at least."

Lena growled softly and she glanced toward Taern. He appeared to be calm. Not to mention, for some reason, his wounds were mostly healed. She frowned darkly. She had learned about magic here but she didn't much like it. She consideredit cheating. Then again, Taern didn't know who he was. She could not under any circumstance hold that against him.
Her attention went to the door as it opened. The doctor came in and immediately began to inspect her. It was as if no one could see Taern. "Please take your shirt off so I can inspect our wounds." Lena narrowed her eyes slightly. "Try anything and I'll break your wrist." She removed her shirt and waited as the doctor went over her wounds. He took off the bandages she had done and replaced them with fresh ones.
When he finished those, he stepped back. "Okay. Your done." Lena nodded abruptly and gingerly pulled her shirt on. The doctor came back up and smiled. "Now about we go out for dinner hun?" Lena sneered and moved over closer to Taern. "Sorry. I don't date." The doctor wouldn't be stopped. "No date then. We'll just go out and get coffe." Lena narrowed her eyes and slipped her hand into taern's to get his attention. It was that moment when the doctor realized he was there. Lena spoke again. "Sorry. Got other plans Doc and they are not changing for the likes of you." Lena abruptly turned and moved toward he door, her hand still in Taern's.

Contrary to what the doctor said, Celestial was perfectly awake. She was sitting on the edge of the bed, smiling as she fiddled with a pair of black, metal lined gloves.
Tubes were attached to her, pumping food, liquids and a whole lot of medicine into her body. She had gotten energy from somewhere and was gently pribing the place where the scapel had been. It was nicely cleaned, disinfected and stiched, as well as her head. Luckily she didn't have a concussion, but she would be dizzy for awhile.
Celestial looked better too, she had somehow managed to comb out her hair, it was still missing it's normal gloss, but that would probably come back in a few days. she wasn't wearing hospital clothes, but instead was wearing tight-fitting jeans and a black T-shirt. Her eyes were once again gaining her fire.
As Seth walked in, Celestial beamed. Minus the tubes and bandages that covered her body, she was looking pretty good, though she had yet to gain weight.
"I can hold Joy now... With these."
Celeste said, pointing to the gloves and arm protectors.
"I'm so glad I found a barrier, it can't drain me now, I still need Iosha to help me fix it, but now it's not quite so urgent. Thank you."

While the examination occurred, he was still in his meditative state, noticing the doctor coming in. He heard everything they said and Lena was acting a bit hostile towards the doctor for his rudeness. As soon a He felt her hand slip into his he broke out of his trance. He looked at the doctor with such and empty gaze the doctor became cocky, making more rude remarks that were now direct towards Taern.
For whatever reason, his pride was hurt and it was only until Taern drew a gun on him with his free hand that the doctor backed off. When he did, he tried to lead Lena towards the doctor, and offered Lena the gun. His eyes still maintained the empty gaze fixed on the doctor. His red and his brown eyes were as empty as every, and gave the impression that Taern may have no soul and was seeking another to steal. Of course, this was not a thought that came to Taern's mind, just merely a form of expression that I, the author, has used.
Taern put the gun in Lena's hand. It was his black gun, Ombra. He then said only one thing.
"It's your choice."

Seth smiled as he walked in and noticed Celestial wide awake, almost appearing to be more alive than he had ever seen her before. She was clean and dressed, her hair combed out, and the fire in her eyes.. it was still alive.
Seth walked up towards her as she began to speak of how she could hold Joy now, with such a happiness filling her eyes.
"Don't thank me..." Seth said softly as he sat down beside her, at a safe enough distance to not come into contact with her, his head tilted slightly to the side as he looked into her eyes. "...you did this." he said with a smile, glancing down at her gloves before looking back up at her.

Lena's eyes glinted darkly as she felt Taern place his gun in her hand. it was smooth. It felt nice. She turned her gaze to the doctor and found he was there, still acting like a jerk. She narrowed her eyes and her grip tightened. She raised the weapon and pointed it directly at the doctor's forehead. He began to shiver slightly.
Lena's eyes were emotionless. Empty and merciless. She had never felt mercy in her life and she wasn't about to now. Then the warnings of the Elders flashed through her mind and her grip tightened on the gun. She lowered the gun and she saw releif break out on his face. She pointed it at his left foot and squeezed the trigger.
As the sound of the shot rang out, Lena found herself sliding back from the jolt. Pain shot through her arm but she ignored it as she dropped her hand. She spoke softly. "Your lucky I can't get expelled." She turned and moved toward the door.
"Don't worry b****. I'll make sure you get expelled." Lena tensed, her hands locked around the handle of the gun. The doctor was on the floor, clutching his foot as blood seeped out. Her spine was tense as she turned. Her eyes made of ice. Death seemed to glow in them. "Don't worry. I didn't do anything. You were the one harrassing me. It was only self-defense." Then lena turned once more and proceeded out the door.
