Seph was waiting as the tram doors opened. He didn't seem the least bit surprised to see the man he'd been looking for step off. "The wonders of modern technology: Making life easier and bellies wider. Next thing you know, they'll come out with a computer you can carry around with you." It wasn't clear whether or not Seph was serious.

"It's crazy, yeah? Eventually the common man will catch up with us. Maybe then they'll do away with guns, eh?"
Neko greeted Seph warmly, pulling his arms up to scratch his nose against his forearm before nodding to his former comrade.
"I guess you all plan to make a spectacle of me?"
He gave a wry smile and followed Iri, glancing back at Tier for a moment.

Neko mimicked Tier's smile and gave a smart two-fist salute, the wind from his bindings messing up his hair pretty bad.

One of the Tier's raised a fist into the air and he was ready to bring it down onto Neko's head.

Hey it's that one-eyed freak that stole my cloak! Who are those people who stepped out of the tram?
Ren kept his distance for now, it seemed like something was going on over there. He watched from afar.
"Meesha I think somethings going down over there.."
Ren spoke to his imaginary friend.

Iri looks at Seph and gives him a bright smile. "Haven't seen much of you lately. Good to see you're alright."
Then she gives Tier a scowl. She moves between Neko and the aggressive man. Both wings spread a little to keep Tier from carrying through with his implied threat. "Oh, stop yelling and get over it. Real smooth, you know, letting your 'prisoner' get under your skin."

Neko pouted for a second at Iri and lifted his arms to scratch his nose again, stealing a glance in Ren's direction before turning back towards the dojo.
"So did Kaimen build a prison, or should I make myself at home? I doubt he kept my garden... A shame."

"You will do nothing of the sort, Tier." Seph's voice was firm but even.
~I had honestly tried to find you before all this could come about. I've got some questions for you, and I'd rather they remain between the two of us for the time being, Neek.~
"Nekojiri is a prisoner of this dojo under the order of our new Fuhrer. It wouldn't do to piss him off. Trust me." Seph was referring to it being unwise to anger Neko, but played it off as if he were speaking of Kaimen. "It's good to see you too, Iri! Fill me in here, if you will. Who found Neek?"

He looked to Seph with a slight nod of his head to excuse his correction.
"Prisoner just sounds so... War-like. Call me a Diplomat, please, I'm sure it'll help smooth things out in the long run."
~And I had tried to stop it from getting to this point, but this guy's pretty damn jumpy and bull-headed.~

Iri looks at Neko and nods her head. That sounds like a good idea to her. Then she looks back at Seph and answers his question.
"That would be me, Tier, and one of Kaimen's clones. We were orderd to capture 'Jii-Sama', and that turned out to be Nekojiri. Really, capturing anybody wasn't my idea, but the boys insisted."
The avian really doesn't look too happy at the mission results. But, she'll keep any other comments to herself for the moment.

Seph nodded, then crossed his arms.
~Tell me what happened. Was there a good reason for Kaimen to take control of the dojo, or did he just decide it should belong to him?~
"Diplomat it is. And I'm sure the two of them just wanted to be safe, but are the restraints necessary?"
Not that it matters. If Neko didn't want them on right now, they wouldn't be on.

Neko communicated with Seph as he spoke, to help and cover up the fact they were having a private conversation a bit better.
~None that I can come up with. The closest thing to a good reason I can guess is the fact the Academy was in a poor state, and he saw fit to change a couple things. I mean honestly, we could've been civil about it, but he just showed up one day and was halfway through remodeling when I got here.~
"But, they are kindof a nuisance. Would you mind, Iri? I'm sure you could all take me back down if I had a lapse of sanity and tried to fight you all."

Iri looks down at the restraints. Then she looks between Seph and Neko. She gives her wings a shrug.
"No offense, Neko, but if you have another lapse in sanity, I'm not fighting you. I thought you were gonna start gnawing on me back there. You cackled like something I'd never before heard."
With a grateful sigh, she moves so she can place her hand over the restraints. Then she kind of pulls a string of chakra and lets it unravel and collapse.
"I really didn't want to hold that for long. Not sure I could have held that in place if it was out of sight, and now way in HELL I was going to follow you into the men's room should the need have arose." The simple idea makes Iri shake her head in disgust.

Neko flexed his hands as the restraints were let loose, and scratched his nose furiously, sighing in relief as he got the itch out.
"I figured you weren't going to listen to reason anymore, so I had to scare you away. 'Lucky' for me Sieg Heil over here doesn't scare too easily."
