(( ROFL sorry I was tired and didn't really read the post))
Mashiro walked onto the area with his zanpaku-tou in hand, like he always does. He showed up just in time to see Hatsume leave the Captain in search of the new female shinigami that had passed him a few moments ago. "Hello, Sensei." Mashiro said as he walked closer to the One Eyed SHinigami " What's wrong? I just saw Hatsume leave. I hope its nothing too bad."

Nothing much. The Captain answered. I sent Hatsu-chan on an errand. And you? Why are you here Mashiro-kun?

"Actually, I don't really know myself."Morimoto said as he patted his head trying to remember. " I think I was supose to come here for something, or....... gah! I don't remember. All I do remember was a HellButerfly and then I came here." the honest shinigami felt bad that he could not have an adicuate excuse for being there. Then again since it was part of the Squad, he could have had no need for one. Minus for the direct question from his Sensei.

Mock sighed. What's going on Mashiro? Why are you making up excuses for such a trivial question? Not everything I say has hidden meanings you know? he said.
Pausing to smoke, the Captain sat on the edge of the elevated ground of that temple. Relax, my boy. Now tell me, what seems to be bothering you? He knew that no Hell Butterflies would be sent to an unseated member of his Squad, without Mock having been informed in advance. What subject could there possibly be to discuss with an unseated member, without his Captain's prior knowledge. Mashiro could only be making this up. If not, then what could be the reason behind such event?

Mashiro felt his heart race when he heard his Sensei's voice. Today had already been an off day for him, concidering that he knew not why he was really here. However, his train of thought was broken with his Sensei's new question. "To be honest, the seated matches. My fights with Shinzou and Amatsu. They both seemed...... well..." Mashiro stopped himself because he did not wish to upset the Captain, nor did he wish for his first scouling as an Apprentice. Though he had only been the Captain's Apprintace for a short time, Mashiro has already felt a close connection with his Sensei. " I mean, if I am to say so. Because I do not wish to stur any trouble with my fellow shinigami and -" He stopped himself again, but not because of his mindless babling, but because his train of thought went away. So now he just stood there staring at the Roman sized pillars in as if he was taken out of his own body.

Mock punched Mashiro in the top of the head. ((YESH! That was an autohit! whee I felt it was deserved )) Hardly an actual punch, it was more like a friendly prank of sorts. Baka! he said.
How can I help you if you don't tell me what's bothering you? And be honest about it! And if you came here just to depress, you'll soon make me depressed as well... So spit it out! Mock said with a cozy smile.

Mashiro flinched at the hit and almost fell to his feet from the shock. " Well, um..... I felt like they where controlled in some way, like the outcome was predetermined.... but I guess its just me... heh." Mashiro gave a small chuckle to hide his embarrasment infront of the Captain, even though it was plain as day.

What do you mean by controlled?... Are you actually saying you think the judges had a predetermined winner in mind? Or that the matches were arranged to favor ones more than others?
Or do you mean something else?

"Well... um.." Mashiro tried to spit it out, but for some reason he was tripping over his own words. Sweat beads formed on his head as he tried to speak agan. " Ya, I mean even when I was in battle... no.. before that I knew or at least felt that the outcome was already chosen. And that the match was just a test of streangth." the speed of his speach was unmatched by anyone at that time. Being nervous and disorianted, Mashiro just threw it all out if one quick breath.

Slow down. I still don't understand what you're trying to say. Mock said. He stopped smoking and was only paying attention to what Mashiro was saying and how he was saying it. Are you saying that you lost faith in yourself, when you mentioned that you felt as if the matches ware already lost before they started? Or are you suggesting that they were fixed?

Danko walked into the area, his zanpacto hanging on his back, he looked around "So a lot of the other shinigami in my new squad should be here". Danko shrugged as he watched the people and sat down in plain view of the captain of the thirteenth squad.

Mashiro looked at the his Sensei and felt really nervous. He had been trying to say one thing when he was really saying another... which was what he was trying to say. Confusing himself in thought Mashiro rubbed his head while trying to focus. " Forgive me, Sensei," Mashiro said in a calm and unchanging tone. " I don't know what has come over me lately.... I think I am just really tired and stressed out from the trainning and the matchs. I believe I have lost faith in myself. I had been taking a passive role in them and might have, or have already, lost them due to this. I don't know what to do now." Mashiro stopped as he looked at the Shinigami, who was in plain view, come into focus. "Sensei... who is that?" Morimoto asked as he motioned to the male shinigami now resting in the grass.

That, is someone who'll raise your morale. The Captain said as he resumed smoking from his kiseru. Go introduce yourself to him.
Mashiro was somehow losing faith in himself. A spar with a newcomer, would surely help him get over this issue. Probably, for an entire different set of reasons, that what Mashiro could be thinking.

Mashiro looked at MockaDash confused. Was he talking about another fight with the new guy... which was kinda of a cheat. Or was he talking about something else. In any case, Morimoto would not disobey a direct order. With a strut in his step, Mashiro approached the sitting Shinigami. " Hello, I am Mashiro Morimoto.... welcome to Squad 13."
