Kia rolled over on the bed, so his face was away from Kalia. A few lonely tears crept down his face, as his home sickness kicked into fill gear. "I'll..." A sniffle could be heard, "Take the floor..." He rubbed his eyes, trying to wipe the moisture away. Too much, too fast. And he still wasn't any closer to the truth about him. Then again, he was getting the feeling he didn't want to know the truth, but he was compelled to anyway.

Sitting up, making sure his face still wasn't able to be seen by Kalia, Kia started to take off his shoes. He started with the easier one, which slid off with ease. The other foot he just looked at as he lifted his pant leg. It was going to need to be cut, and he couldn't do it himself. It was even bigger and angrier than before. Whatever quick healing he might have had wasn't working too quickly on this injury. As it was, he couldn't even move his foot around anymore. It had swollen into a locked position. He actually couldn't move his toes either.
"Kalia? Um... I think I need some help here..." Kia didn't even try to touch his ankle, and he had mostly stopped his crying. His eyes where red however, as he had fought the tears back. They still brimmed with water, but he was hoping she wouldn't notice, or think it was from pain.

Kia stifled his screams of pain by clamping his mouth shut. All that came out were moans of pain. He really felt horrible at the moment, and tears sprang from his eyes, this time from the pain of his overly swollen foot.

The intense pain took Kia's breath away, leaving him covered in sweat and breathing heavy. By the time he caught he breath enough to refuse the bed, Kalia was already off. After the pain, his foot throbbed, but was now down to a dull roll.

While sitting on the bed, he was feeling even more tired. Laying down, he figured he would close his eyes for only a moment, till Kalia came back out from her shower. It wasn't long however till he found himself sound asleep, his uninjured foot was hanging off the bed and he was on top of the blankets.

Kia was in a light dreamless sleep. The pain from his foot prevented him from going into a deep sleep. As Kalia moved him, he stirred, but did not awaken. He mumbled something in his sleep as she sat on the chair by the window. He shifted uncomfortably in his sleep as he tried to move int positions where the pain was lessened.

After tossing a few more times under the sheets, Kia seemed to finally stop his restless sleep. He settles down once again and seem to be in less pain now.

Kia had finally fallen into a deep sleep, something he hadn't done in the last few days. It was either a nightmare the awoke him, or was a werewolf ready to rip his head off that disturbed his sleep before. His foot was finally not hurting much any more, though it still seemed angry and swollen, though the swelling was going down finally.

In his sleep, Kia started mumbling incoherently however. He seemed to be saying something, but wasn't at the same time. Probably just his dream. He did roll over again in his sleep, and pain covered his face for but a moment as his foot moved. Then he relaxed again into quiet sleep.

The sound of the phone actually disturbed Kia, but didn't fully wake him. Instead, out of habit, he swung his arm over the side of the bed, where his alarm clock would have been. It wasn't till he realized in his half awake state that he didn't hit anything but air, but by then he was already rolling, with nothing to stop his motion. Taking the blankets with him, Kia fell to the floor in a heap. "Ow!" He cried as his foot hit the floor, and the throbbing continued.

Kia muttered in pain as he was still waking up. "What time is it?" He asked as he noticed the light through the window. "Oh! I was going to let you use the bed..." He realizes now that he must have fallen asleep. Then again, why was she up? Didn't she sleep at all last night?

With the help of Kalia, the two of them unwrap the last of the sheets from around his foot. The toes were all looking like a bruised color now, that dark blue purple. It was still swollen, but not nearly as large as before he went to sleep. "Why isn't it healing like everything else did?" Kia muttered to himself. The one thing he knew about his body was how quickly it healed, and this wasn't healing that fast from his usual. It seemed odd somehow.
