Galesen watched the joust quietly as it continued on, though he was a bit surprised when Kyst rider managed to actually win the whole tournament. "Indeed my friend, indeed you can." A look to Lylani with a small smile before he nodded. "You got that right, Kyst seems to have a great amount of luck when it comes to things like this." Ah good fun all around for all, it was good to be just hanging out with everyone and enjoying the free time. A look to Isle though when she brought up her question Galesen sat back for a moment to think things over. "Well, aside from her being pregnant and all, the only other thing I know of is the tournament down there is happening as well. Also everyone else is fine. Though since you are probably going to visit soon then we can both go at the same time since I've been thinking of heading down there myself." It had been awhile since he visited, it would be as good as time as any to go then.

She heaved out a sigh as he was purposefully avoiding speaking on the real issue. That was her frustrating boss. "Ty...you know very well what I mean. I'm offering help. Just accept it and say thank you, Lhia."
"Has nothing to do with luck. It's the skill that Nilli and I have that win these things, don't they, kiddo?" Reaching over and ruffling said elf's hair. "After you finish your treat I'll let you back on my shoulders if you like."

He chuckled and shook his head, turning a look to her. "Thank you Lhia." Shaking his head lightly. "Sometimes I just think it's best to just try to forget. But of course as elves, that's impossible. We spent a long long time together, it's still just very fresh for me."
"Shh, we don't talk about that out loud." Shushing him before resting her elbow on her knee and propping her chin in her hand. "I just need to plan ahead if I'm going to go down there, let alone take Nillrik." Grinning at her friend. "There's always more gambling to be had Lylani."
"Don't pout Offspring. If you're as good skill with these things as Kyst, you're welcome around anytime."
He grinned at the praise he was getting before taking to eating his last bite and then licking off his fingers, presenting his hands to Kyst. Still sticky, but sugar free. "Clean!"

"Oh, right. Okay then." Though he smiled a little when Isle shushed him, she never did before and she looked cute doing so. Though he gave a nod to her as he shifted in his seat. "Yup, I at least want to make sure I have a few things in order myself before I head down after the tournament." A look to the others and he smiled a little. "Well then, I need to develop my skill a bit more if I were to go in on a bet with a bigger payout." A look to the center as they were setting up for archery next.

"It wasn't that long ago, Ty. It's no surprise that it still makes you want to curl up like an infant in the fetal position and cry. He was important to you and you did your best by him. And that is what is important." She was quiet for a moment, then once again lightly rested a hand on him, this time on his leg. "Reverie isn't always bad. You can remember all the exciting and fun times you spent with him as well. And even though the loss is that much greater when you do wake up, it's worth it in the end, I think."
Kyst glanced down at his hands and then weighed the consequences of getting sticky sugar in his hair. Ah, well, hair was washable. "Come here." He reached over and tickled the little elf just for the fun of it, then plopped him carefully on his shoulders. "Now hold on and watch closely, Nilli. I think you're going to be doing this one day." His ears twitched at Galesen's comment and he shook his head. "Don't have to worry about that, Gale. We're dealing with all small pools seeing as we have little fish."

"Am I being that transparent?" Giving her a grimace to that...after all, he had to appear certain ways what with the position he held. Looking down to her hand he rested his own on top of hers and gave her what smile he could muster when the subject came up, "You always did have a way of looking at the bright side of things."
He giggled amd squirmed before he had the best seat in the house again. "Hey, are you calling me a little fish? I'm not a little fish. I'm just a big fish in a little pond and I haven't gotten out into the ocean yet, so I only look small from the ocean." Or something like that.

"Indeed you are right my friend." Galesen looked at Kyst with a small smile before his eyes traveled up to the elf who sat upon the sea elf shoulders and chuckled a little. "Ah that may be so though you are still growing so one day you be as big as the big fish in the ocean, you got plenty of time Nilli." Though he fished through his bag of goodies and pulled out a ruby. "So, anyone want to bet on the archers?"Time Jump - Two Weeks Pass Galesen had a good time with the rest of the tournament that had passed over two weeks ago. Still, all good things had to come to and end and so when the tournament brought forth its champions it was then time to go back to work. Galesen had kept up on the kingdoms of Andal, taking in last minute ideas that the kings and queens wanted to discuss and such with Malik. At the same time Galesen had been getting his things together for his trip down to Twilight, he even purchased a pair of metallic gauntlets to use when he wanted to spar in the arena. Aside from the normal, he felt fine; his magic wasn't causing any trouble so he had nothing to worry about.
However, Galesen was at the current moment deep in reverie, his mind deciding on a more unpleasant memory to recall, but that was the way the mind worked sometimes. Still, just like all reverie's Galesen slowly woke up from it, his mind in a haze as the memory faded but none the less he came out of it quietly. However, when he woke Galesen noticed something, he realized was that his room was cold, very cold. Though as his eyes adjusted quickly he saw that the ceiling of his room was covered in ice; worried he sat up in bed, only to have his sheets shatter like thin ice from moving. Looking down at the shards that littered his bed Galesen then saw that everything in his room was covered in a thick blanket of ice. After a brief moment in shock he came to the conclusion that he must of had a magic build up when he was in reverie, and since he couldn't keep it down it released itself onto his house.
Luckily for Galesen his pants that he wore to bed were not affected for some odd reason, so he got out of bed and, after striking the door a few times to break the ice on it, left his room to see that the whole hallway was covered in ice. "Gods be damned..." At that moment he rubbed his hands together, they felt a bit cold. He then continued to go downstairs and saw that the ice had spread downstairs but only toward the kitchen, the living room that held the stuff he was going to take with him were not affected. "Oh man..." He reached out and touched the couch, only to see it starting to be covered in ice. Galesen then jerked his hand away and stared at his hands, there were bright red, like he stuck them in snow for ten minutes, and he felt a little cold. Suddenly he felt energy build within him, and before he could do anything, it burst from his body, covering the surrounding area in a thing layer of ice. Nevertheless, on the heel of that energy burst came another, and another, each adding more ice to at least ten feet around him. "Oh Gods what do I do...?" He was worried, his magic had grown to extreme levels overnight, he couldn't control it and if he tried to get closer to anyone he could seriously hurt them. He tried to suppress the next build up, only to find he could hold it for so long before he had to let it go, and the result made him see that the ice would cover a much larger area if he were to hold back. He began to pace, he couldn't go running to Kieran or Isle, he had to stay away from everyone.

Making sure Vale was comfortably settled, she smoothed the comforter and then stepped out of his room. Pausing in the hallway, she clutched the robe at her throat and watched the thin light under the door blink in and out as he moved in front of it and then stepped back once more. When Ty had offered to let them stay with him while Vale recovered, she'd wondered at the intelligence of the situation. He'd told he'd taken care of everything and he really had. Taking a breath, she stepped down into the kitchen, poured another cup of tea and slowly made her way back upstairs with a tray. Steeling herself, she lifted her fist and knocked softly on the door.
"I honestly don't know how you two do it. Nyc's only been gone for a few weeks and I feel like a part of me is missing. Does it ever get any easier, Daddy Kieran?"

Despite what many may think, he didn't live at Brigade headquarters. Very few did in fact. At the end of their shifts, most went home to nations and families and what not, leaving behind only those who were on the new shift at headquarters or where they were stationed for the time. Though he did live on Torea close by, in a rather humble little place that he appreciated more than most things grand.
At present...he was pacing again. Pacing gave him something to focus on rather than the things his mind wanted to tangent on. It was never going to be easy, he knew that. When you knew someone for a good four thousand years...well, it should take a least another thousand for the pain to lessen. His pacing paused however at the knock on his door and he opened it to see Lhia with a tray. Which he then stepped back from the door and opened it wider for her to come in. People didn't bring trays unless they were planning on coming into the room. "How's Valeessen doing?"
"You eventually learn to cope." Flipping through a few pages of his journal casually looking through some information, mostly pertaining to Piper's worrisome condition. "I wouldn't say it gets any easier, just that the love grows stronger and that helps soothe away the missing feeling. "He's no more than a short visit away my dear, all you have to do is ask."

As Galesen began to wonder just how he was going to get help, an idea went off in his head. Quickly he shoved open the front door and called for Barhnel, when his horse arrived, Galesen kicked the lightest bag he had with him to his horse. "I can't pick it up, hold it in your teeth carefully Barhnel." His horse complied as Galesen rushed inside to get his katana, and after some awkward movements since he could not touch it, he manage to slip his katana off the mantle and onto himself. When he went to the doorway he realized he needed to warm his hands so he could at least grab things. So Galesen tried to warm his hands by snapping his fingers, smacking it against his chest. After doing that for a minute or two a small flame appeared on his finger, but before he could do anything the warmth went out. "Damn it all..."
After going through that he had to wait, for if he were to release a build up while trying to get onto Barhnel he could seriously hurt his companion. "Barhnel, kneel down for me." As his horse knelt, Galesen got up and allowed the next energy build up to release, covering the door-frame and a few feet in front of him. After that Galesen started to suppress his magic as best as he could, and as he did he ran toward his horse and jumped onto the saddle, though since he could not get his legs over Galesen had landed on it chest first. So after wiggling for a moment Galesen found himself keeping his hands far away from Barhnel and after some slow movements he managed to swing one leg over the saddle, that allowed him to hold on by squeezing his legs tight as he rested his head on the back of Barhnel neck. "Barhnel, you must hurry to the palace as fast as you can, make sure you arrive near the entrance you hear me?" With a neigh as the only reply he could get, Galesen closed his eyes as Barhnel suddenly took off, then reappear at the palace he dropped off his horse and rolled away, when he got far away his magic released causing the area around him to be covered in ice. "Anyone around!?" He needed to let someone know where he was going to go at least.

"Stop screaming." Shaking his head and walking up to the elf who was magically spazzing. He snapped his fingers and had one of the grooms walk over and take Barhnel then crossed his arms. "What do you want?"
"He's perfectly fine as long as he stops trying to do too much too soon." Strolling in and setting the tray down on the side table, she picked up one of the tea cups and handed it to him. She knew how he took his tea, but also knew he liked to do it himself. "Sit down, Ty, before you wear a hole in your lovely carpet." Settling into one of the large armchairs before the cold fireplace, she tucked one ankle behind the other and balanced her cup on her knees. "Need to talk?"
That made no sense in her world. Loving Glynnic more would mean that it would hurt far more to have time taken from her or to have to choose to go willingly by herself. "No, I can't do that. His mother thinks I'm a distraction." Sighing then. "She's right, too. He needs to focus on things that have nothing to do with me right now."

Where there was one Brigade member, there was always another as they always came in pairs or more. He merely gave a raised eyebrow though, letting his partner handle the talking as he gave the horse a once over, just in case.
"Yes, but young elves never do what they're supposed do." Chuckling lightly before taking the cup, fixing himself some tea more out of being polite and distracted than being thirsty. "I think I've already made it through the carpet, Lhia." Plopping down in the sibling chair to the other with a ligt sigh, swirling the contents of his glass. "Food, drink, reverie...I need a lot of things right now. But I'll manage. I have work to do." Trying to give her a perky look, "How good are you at forging a signature?"
"You are distracting to him. Just like he is distracting to you. That's just how it is my dear. Love clouds your head like that, but eventually matters of the heart and matters of duty tend to sort themselves out. Fianna and I made time for each other by synching up our schedules. Time off we both had we spent together."

"You've never spoken truer." She smoothed her robe and snuggled into the overly large chair, watching him pensively for a moment. "You need to stop dwelling before you make yourself sick and we're all in trouble. You know the Brigade doesn't work well when you aren't feeling yourself." She blinked at his question and then laughed. "I'm an artist with fire." What did he need forged and why couldn't he sign it himself. "It's not a royal forgery, is it?" They were just about the only people who had higher authority than him in some cases.
"But that doesn't work well for us. He's the King and I'm just the Princess. It means that he has less time off than I do and I get restless." Shaking her head and walking over to the window to stare out at the mountains beyond. "I just wish it was easier."

Galesen looked at the elf with a sigh as he stood up and brushed himself off. "I need you to tell Isleandra Rainsong that I will be going to the Underdark before her because of this problem I'm having. I would tell her myself but I would cover half of the palace in ice if I step in there." Besides, Malik's castle had the one thing that could help him, Gods bless magically enchanted arenas. A small sigh as he closed his eyes and allowed the energy to flow out of him once again. "This is gonna be a pain..." He muttered to himself, but he had an idea of what he could do once he was down there. Though a look to the two guys who were there and he motioned them away from Barhnel who he told to kneel down again. In a short amount of time Galesen was back in the saddle using his legs to hold onto Barhnel. "Alright buddy, lets get going before I cover you in ice by mistake. Appear close to the entrance though." A small click of his tongue and they were off, this was the best way to deal with his problem as quickly as he could.

"I know, I know. I have to take care of myself or everyone feels the sting of things. It's just hard feeling alone sometimes. No one to talk to about the old things that only the two of you remember and the like when things were simplier." Sighing and drinking some from his cup before a smile over to her. "No...I think I'm going to need a stamp of my signature to keep up. I'll catch up, no worries." Chuckling lightly, "This isn't the part where you send me to bed with a stern warning is it?"
"And do tell me my dear, how would you propose to make it easier? This is all about hte choices you can make to make things far easier than what Fianna and I have done."
