He still lives at home, though, right? I couldn't do that again. I love my parents very much and we are great friends, but I would go NUTS if I had to live with them again.
(Watch for the insanity to start in July or August when I lose my job and have to sell my house and more back in with them...)

Yeah, he does. I may move back there temporarily after I'm out, just to get ready for college. Though nothing is set in stone that far out.
That isn't good at all! gonk I hope it doesn't go that horribly bad for you. I hope it doesn't go bad period.

I'm hoping for all good things, too!
It rained? Like really rained? That's so exciting! We just had a little drizzle here. It was so warm just a few days ago and now rain? I love California sometimes!

It rained for like 20 minutes, but it came down pretty good.
I like the views that are here. They're really cool. The only view I don't like is the one of my ship. That fills me with dread.
The coolest ones are when you're in a really high place at night, and you see all the lights on and stuff. I like those kind of views best!

I had a really pretty view of the marina from my room when I was down there. I could see across to the mainland, too, and the lights were so pretty. I loved standing on the beach looking out over the water and watching the city turn pink at sunset. San Diego really is a beautiful place! Wish I could afford to live there!

I don't know if it was next to a museum. I was the Best Western Island Palms. The only time I walked around the area was in the evening, so I'm sad to say that I didn't do any tourist stuff in the area. Come to think of it, I really didn't do all that much "touristy" stuff. I spent a lot of time shopping. redface

I meant was it close to that aircraft carrier that was sitting there next to the park area. And don't worry, I was overseas in other countries, and I did a lot of shopping there too. But I just HAD to get my manga fix! redface
Geez, hurry up and get another day off or something, and come down and have some fun! (as long as it doesn't jeopardize your job)

I asked for a day off this summer and they told me no. They are not on my happy list. As it is, I only get one day off each week.
But...I am planning on taking one of those Mondays and coming down. I'm not sure how long it will be, though, as I have the day booked up for a while.
When I come, I'm going to visit the sushi place and the anime store. Anything else I should try to squeeze into my trip?
