The man finally reached a small clearing in the room and the monsters in the area have been dealt with. He skidded to a halt and faced the girl, "Leave me alone!" He yelled, his eyes giving off a glow.

The girl put her hand on her hip. Her other hand still held her sword. "Why should I?" she asked coldly, glaring at him.

The girl only sighed, exasperated. "Well, this is going nowhere fast," she muttered. "Perhaps I was chasing you because I needed to teach you some manners, punk," she added, speaking to him again, rather coldly.

The girl ground her teeth together. "Why do you care?!" she demanded. He didn't need to know that, as far as she could tell. She had been taught not to tell too much about herself to anyone she wouldn't be working with on a mission or something like that.
