What's a OiM? I hear so much about it in this thread. I know it's an RP, but for some reason I haven't found it on the School for Dedicated People Who Pretend to Have Other Lives Because Their Own Weren't What They Were Cut Out to Be's forums. Someone have a link I could check out?

Is it? I didn't mean for it to be insulting; just descriptive. Most of the people I talk to who engage in any sort of writing feel largely the same way *shrug*
Many thanks for the link! Looks interesting. I'll have to check deeper into the posting and see more of what it's all about. I may then engage in the Hokey Pokey, and turn myself around. Who knows?

Well, see, my life was cut out for doing exactly what I do: play video games, write, draw, etc. It gives me pleasure because I want to do it in the first place. biggrin
I suppose it's still a bit escapist, though. I think that's unavoidable. I suppose there is some "Why can't MY life be this awesome?" involved with writing. I guess I sorta figured you meant "My life sucks, so I write, which is awesome, so my life doesn't suck."
