Paul shrugged. "If she's saying 'please' she's screwed, let's go," he told them, snatching up a UMP and an XM8 Combat Carbine. "Open up!" he shouted, preparing to kick down the door.
"Oh Paul!" the man suddenly called. Paul froze.
"Pavel? How did you...? You were... dead?" he finished lamely.
"Open the door," Pavel told Jacyln. "Open it now."

Jaclyn rolled her eyes. "Gracias, Forro!" she yelled through the door, "You couldn't have come up with something a little more ****ing subtle?" I can't believe I just said that. She turned and moved to open the door, then suddenly dropped, simultaneously kicking sharply out toward Pavel's knee with her left foot.

"Can it, Jaclyn!" Paul shouted, kicking the door open all the way and entering. Pavel dropped like a stone onto Jaclyn, taking the kick to his knee like a real champ and letting his feet get knocked out from under him. Once on top of her he rolled her to on top of him to prevent Paul from having a clear shot for the split second it would take to shoot - but Paul had dropped his guns and jump right onto the dogpile, throwing the AK's barrel away from him.
"Do - something!" Paul roared, struggling with Pavel. In the struggle, it was almost difficult to tell who was who, if Paul hadn't been wearing a trench coat.

Lito entered the room and aimed his gun at the pile, but obviously didn't fire yet. Still, at this range he wouldn't miss, so if for even a second he had a shot...

Disturbingly, it looked like Pavel was winning.
With gunshots piled into his chest.
Suddenly he was holding a grenade with the pin pulled. "Stop! Stop!" he shouted, trying to throw Jaclyn and Paul off of himself.
Now they probably really needed to do something.
