Ouch... Well if either of them hits:

no the rats didn't attack this turn... one was too busy dying of what ever it has and the other is determining to stay or fight

My character will launch a full round attack on the one remaining rat that seems to be burning its time trying to decide its course of action while activating the fire of the weapon.
