The duster was heavy, and on study, produced a small arsenal. Shotguns, Handguns, Ammunition to boot. Nothing too personal, perhaps a few receipts, some gum(Mint.) And pepper-spray. A few scribbled notes, looking to be past dates, and the slight jarbled pages of a spell book, minor stuff however. Novice spells.

The news footage of the fighting in Ymiristan was broken by a live wire broadcast from General Bakkar himself, interposed with footage of the Omega weapon descending, if that was possible.
"People of Gaia, this is General Bakkar, defense minister of Ymiristan. I'm sending this message through the wires only out of desperation, as few of our people expect to live to see the dawn. At present, our nation has repulsed a massive undead attack, but it seems that is not enough. The Ymiristani government has made many mistakes, one being the aggression we've shown to the world concerning Aekea, we apologize for those transgressions. Now, let me be frank with you, we are under attack, Edward Yaits the III is dead, and a weapon of legendary power is approaching the national HQ. The terms issued the Ymiristan leadership are simple, we must surrendor or die. If we surrendor, Yaits city will become the ultimate necropolis, on the very doorstep of Durem. I have.... the leadership of Ymiristan has choosen.... to go down fighting.... even if such a struggle means certain death. We will not make it easy for these bastards to conquer world, we will fight until every last drop of Ymiristani blood has been absorbed into the rocky soil. Tonight, Ymiristan is fighting a battle that will decide the fate of the world, and I'm damn proud to know I'm on the right side for once. Over and out!"

He sat at the counter of a bar in a tavern filled with people. In fact, the place seemed well overpacked. It must have been the influx of people from the slums coming topside, all at once. So now the middle class part of the city was not only as full as it would normally be, but now it housed everyone from underground as well. What a mess.
However, it wasnt all bad; with this many people, it would be nigh impossible for anyone to discover what he was doing. Decruda blended very well into crowds. He simply waited for pieces to fall into place, and until then, he'd mull around the city like all the other people.

Underground... things were changing. The tunneling was complete, and there was no more noise from it. Deep beneath the surface, however, a different kind of construction was taking place.

"A suitable space has been prepared, away from prying eyes. Come to the grave of Edward Sturtz in the underground."
If Decruda followed the directions, he would be lead to a mosoleum among the many in the graveyard that had so recently been... excavated.Quote: Sending Evocation Level: Clr 4, Sor/Wiz 5 Components: V, S, M/DF Casting Time: 10 minutes Range: See text Target: One creature Duration: 1 round; see text Saving Throw: None Spell Resistance: No You contact a particular creature with which you are familiar and send a short message of twenty-five words or less to the subject. The subject recognizes you if it knows you. It can answer in like manner immediately. A creature with an Intelligence score as low as 1 can understand the sending, though the subject’s ability to react is limited as normal by its Intelligence score. Even if the sending is received, the subject is not obligated to act upon it in any manner. If the creature in question is not on the same plane of existence as you are, there is a 5% chance that the sending does not arrive. (Local conditions on other planes may worsen this chance considerably.) Arcane Material Component A short piece of fine copper wire.

He recieved the message, however, there would be no visible reaction on the exterior. He payed for the drink and slipped away from the bar as another body quickly filled the space he had previously occupied. As he left the tavern, he wove through the surrounding dark buildings and streets of the night without a pattern, crossing into a dark alley and out the other side. The only difference however, was that he would be unseen. 4th Level Improved Invisibility(Illusion/Phantasm) This spell is similar to the invisibility spell, but the recipient is able to attack, either by missile discharge, melee combat, or spellcasting, and remain unseen. Note, however, that telltale traces (such as a shimmering effect) sometimes allow an observant opponent to attack the invisible spell recipient. These traces are only noticeable when specifically looked for (after the invisible character has made his presence known). Attacks against the invisible character suffer -4 penalties to the attack rolls, and the invisible character's saving throws are made with a +4 bonus. Beings with high Hit Dice that might normally notice invisible opponents will notice a creature under this spell as if they had 2 fewer Hit Dice (they roll saving throws vs. spell; success indicates they spot the character). 2nd Level Invisibility(Illusion/Phantasm) This spell causes the creature touched to vanish from sight and be undetectable by normal vision or even infravision. Of course, the invisible creature is not magically silenced, and certain other conditions can render the creature detectable. Even allies cannot see the invisible creature or his gear, unless these allies can normally see invisible things or employ magic to do so. Items dropped or put down by the invisible creature become visible; items picked up disappear if tucked into the clothing or pouches worn by the creature. Note, however, that light never becomes invisible, although a source of light can become so (thus, the effect is that of a light with no visible source). The spell remains in effect until it is magically broken or dispelled, until the wizard or recipient cancels it, until the recipient attacks any creature, or until 24 hours have passed. Thus, the invisible being can open doors, talk, eat, climb stairs, etc., but if he attacks, he immediately becomes visible, although the invisibility enables him to attack first. Note that the priest spells bless, chant, and prayer are not attacks for this purpose. All highly Intelligent (Intelligence 13 or more) creatures with 10 or more Hit Dice or levels of experience have a chance to detect invisible objects (they roll saving throws vs. spell; success means they noticed the invisible object). The material components of the invisibility spell are an eyelash and a bit of gum arabic, the former encased in the latter. He would be invisible, and as for the noise part? He did use to be a ranger; he'd move silently through the streets away from crowds and people, slipping into the underground when a time would be convenient. And then from there on, he'd be moving down the streets of the underground, looking for a very distinct grave. The mosoleum would look just like any other, nestled with others in a row. Leaning up against the statue of a deceased father of seven, Decruda's contact would be waiting.
"Who have you brought with you?" Gavin asked as he detected Decruda's approach... not through sight, nor sound, but through a detect magic spell that alerted him to the presence of Decruda's aura approaching. There was no reason to think that anyone other than who he had sent for would be sneaking through a graveyard at night.Quote: Detect Magic Divination Level: Brd 0, Clr 0, Drd 0, Sor/Wiz 0 Components: V, S Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: 60 ft. Area: Cone-shaped emanation Duration: Concentration, up to 1 min./level (D) Saving Throw: None Spell Resistance: No You detect magical auras. The amount of information revealed depends on how long you study a particular area or subject. 1st Round Presence or absence of magical auras. 2nd Round Number of different magical auras and the power of the most potent aura. 3rd Round The strength and location of each aura. If the items or creatures bearing the auras are in line of sight, you can make Spellcraft skill checks to determine the school of magic involved in each. (Make one check per aura; DC 15 + spell level, or 15 + half caster level for a nonspell effect.) Magical areas, multiple types of magic, or strong local magical emanations may distort or conceal weaker auras. Aura Strength An aura’s power depends on a spell’s functioning spell level or an item’s caster level. If an aura falls into more than one category, detect magic indicates the stronger of the two. Spell or Object Aura Power Faint Moderate Strong Overwhelming Functioning spell (spell level) 3rd or lower 4th-6th 7th-9th 10th+ (deity-level) Magic item (caster level) 5th or lower 6th-11th 12th-20th 21st+ (artifact) Lingering Aura A magical aura lingers after its original source dissipates (in the case of a spell) or is destroyed (in the case of a magic item). If detect magic is cast and directed at such a location, the spell indicates an aura strength of dim (even weaker than a faint aura). How long the aura lingers at this dim level depends on its original power: Original Strength Duration of Lingering Aura Faint 1d6 rounds Moderate 1d6 minutes Strong 1d6×10 minutes Overwhelming 1d6 days Outsiders and elementals are not magical in themselves, but if they are summoned, the conjuration spell registers. Each round, you can turn to detect magic in a new area. The spell can penetrate barriers, but 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks it. Detect magic can be made permanent with a permanency spell. Quote: Permanency Universal Level: Sor/Wiz 5 Components: V, S, XP Casting Time: 2 rounds Range: See text Target, Effect, or Area: See text Duration: Permanent; see text Saving Throw: None Spell Resistance: No This spell makes certain other spells permanent. Ah, so here it was, the grave of one Edward Sturtz. And who else next to it than the man in charge. He'd approach and then stop at a comfortable distance for casual dialogue in a low voice as Gavin would ask him the question.
"At the moment, it is just myself and my supplies. Messages have been sent out to other members in case they are interested, and I expect one of my agents and a servant to come into the city sometime soon." he answered.
"I assume you've made yourself comfortable?" Decruda noted at the location, and with the near empty underground it really wouldnt take long to 'set up shop'.

"Comfortable enough... for a hovel like this. It does have it's... advantages, however." As he said this, the necromancer waved a hand to the tombs around them. Decruda had noticed the rest in his trek through the deserted underground. It was like a needle in a haystack... and this needle was invisible.
Leading the way, Gavin entered the tomb without hesitation; the apparent stone door that seemed as if it hadn't been disturbed for decades did not hinder him in the slightest as he walked straight through it and into the mosoleum interior.
"Hector!"
A moment later the large stone cascet that took up the majority of the interior of the mosoleum slid to the side, revealing a passageway further underneath."...rrr..." The Stone Golem that had moved the tomb stepped out of the passageway so that its masters might pass.Quote: Illusory Wall Illusion (Figment) Level: Sor/Wiz 4 Components: V, S Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels) Effect: Image 1 ft. by 10 ft. by 10 ft. Duration: Permanent Saving Throw: Will disbelief (if interacted with) Spell Resistance: No This spell creates the illusion of a wall, floor, ceiling, or similar surface. It appears absolutely real when viewed, but physical objects can pass through it without difficulty. When the spell is used to hide pits, traps, or normal doors, any detection abilities that do not require sight work normally. Touch or a probing search reveals the true nature of the surface, though such measures do not cause the illusion to disappear.

Gavin decended into the tunnels, leading Decruda, as Hector closed up the hole behind them to ensure that nothing disturbed their work.
Down, down, dozens of feet below the ground where no one would be able to reach them or even find them, until the tunnel widened into a series of larger cave-like rooms that had been hollowed out, and tunnels branching off to all sides from there.
The cavern was unfurnished, save for a few small trappings and a long meeting table set in the center; just like 'home'.
"One advantage to being positioned underneath a graveyard," the necromancer said with a sickening smile, "is that there is a virtually limitless supply of dead flesh, and it's practically delivered to our door."

On a side of the Underground, a team of three individuals were busy working away on one of the elevators that the guards used to ferry troops and supplies down into the Underground. They were totally dressed in black, and worked quickly, quietly, and flawlessly. They communicated via hand signals and body motions, not emitting any type of sound whatsoever. They knew how the guards moved through the Underground, and knew the shifts, and they were determined to finish what they'd started. They'd send a message to the Lamentian Government and its people in the only way they could. In only a few moments, their plan was complete, and after attatching a small device to the elevator, the three men dissapeared into the shadows from whence they came. A short while later, after everything was seemingly calm in the Underground, a thunderous shockwave would be felt, and a loud bang would resonate through the enclosed Underground caverns as a massive bomb exploded along the elevator shaft, the shaft being completely destroyed, and unusable... * * * * * Mere minutes after the attack, the forces of the Underground were on high alert as the blast caught their attention. Radio chatter among the forces quintupled as they tried to make heads or tails of the situation that had approaced them. Rumors of a terrorist attack spread like wildfire among the populus as soldiers moved topside and discussed the attack among themselves, and many people demanded the government act on this new threat, especially the occupants of the Underground that had been shoved topside and away from their homes. Within half an hour, the government and military released the following declaration. "As of zero-hundred hours this morning, the entire city of Lament is placed under Military Lockdown. Armed guards will be posted at every doorway, entrance, and exit into or out of the city and Underground. Any travelers already within the city walls will be held as suspects. No visitors will be granted access into or out of the city for any reason. Guard shifts will be changed randomly at any time seen fit.
All Guards or Officers entering or exiting their posts during a shift are REQUIRED to present personal Identification at gunpoint, and present the inquiring officials with a password changed for every shift. If one or more of these conditions are not met, the subject in question is to be terminated immediately and without hesitation. Any failure to comply immediately to the request of the interviewing personel will result in termination of the individual in question.
Any Officer seen leaving their post for any reason, including personal, is to be terminated immediately. Any individual located within a military zone that is not military personel is to be terminated immediately without question.
Any abnormalities in proceedure will be met with lethal force. All Underground Officers will be permenantly stationed in the Underground section until the Lockdown is lifted. Any and all suspicious activity is to be reported and dealt with immediately. Standard Military warnings go out to any personel in the Underground Section. That is all."

All roads were closed. There was no in and out travel. The guards at the gates were patrolling... by the time she'd arrived, there was a huge car and carriage block. Nothing but bugs and flies, and the occasional rat were getting into this place. She asked around and the impatient people who had traveled out of the land for business and pleasure, and were now stuck at gates, were more than happy to answer her. There were many curses between sentences of explanation. Something exploded in the Underground and there was a total, absolute lockdown. Fawkin' guards and their fawkin' locking things down. She was humming and bobbing her head while getting answers, which threw some people off... but eventually, it didn't matter because they parted with smiles.
Nothing but bugs, flies, and the occasional rat were getting into this place.
Some minutes later, an invisible serpent slid its way into town. Way to make it as hard as humanly possible... she had to ditch her friends, who were all now lying "asleep" against a tree some two miles from the gate.

04 Spriggan All roads were closed. There was no in and out travel. The guards at the gates were patrolling... by the time she'd arrived, there was a huge car and carriage block. Nothing but bugs and flies, and... Pretty much nothing else was getting into the city. Lament's walls were designed to be completely solid and sealed when they were locked to prevent even the smallest of creatures from entering them. Bugs and flies perhaps would get into the city, but certainly nothing such as a rat, and deffinately not a snake.

So she jumped? neutral
Yeah! that's totally what she did. She was all ninja invisible, and could like... just jump over the wall. So that's exactly what she did.
Added fluff: Not as a snake, because that's just stupid. Upon seeing there was a Habbo standing in front of closed gates, she shifted while staying invisible and totally cartwheeled over the gate. Or not really... it was just floating up and up and up until she was over it and making sure she wasn't making more noise over the sound of her breathing, which itself was nearly impossible to hear. Of course, she was gonna go slow because if there was some instant magi-shield put up that'd expose her that she wasn't aware of before because it wasn't there... then, she was gonna 180 and not get shot by the guns of the almighty while dropping clean out of the sky.
Otherwise, she was in like sin.
