If you go missing, and our accomplices are not safely hidden, which, judging by the alarm, they are not, then your escape would result in their deaths.

 Before Evangeline had the chance to react, the bullet tore straight through her head, and as she sank down to her knees, bleeding and dying, the forcefield around Izona failed. When the girl's head met the tiles, the demon leapt over, attacking and mutilating her body until she was no longer recognisable.
She ducked, the bullet flying over head, as Izona threw herself repeatedly at the forcefield, in the hopes that it would give way and set her free.

'What?! What're they doing here?! Just to get me out?' Aizel yelped, still trying to pull himself free. 'There must be something you can do!'

'Ahh yes, your...precognition, am I right?' the boss asked, with an impressed smile. 'That must be very...handy. However, unless you start co-operating, I will have to find other means to getting what I want from you.'
Midian awkwardly watched the exchange between the two, her eyes occasionally flickering back to Izona, who was still hurling herself at the forcefield. She did not seem to care that it scalded her scaly skin every time she had the slightest contact with it. She threw her head back and let out an enraged scream, incensed by being trapped.

That's the basics of it, yes. They even broke security protocol back at the base, and Evangeline and Mads were nearly killed by Vault.

The boss gave an overdramatic sigh, and motioned towards Midian to step back, who aquiesced. He then flicked the same switch, releasing the field around Izona, and trapping he and his worker in another one. Evangeline, however, was left unprotected, and would now find herself trying to fend off the demon.

's**t!' she yelped, as she was bowled over.
She held an arm out in front of herself, placing it at Izona's collarbone, and holding the snarling demon away from her. Jaws snapping, claws slashing at flesh, Evangeline used her other arm to try and reach for the nearest pistol...

I saved Evangeline's sorry a**, Lella pretended to faint in front of MK and Nalini, and hell knows how Mads escaped Vault, though I do think Nalini knocked him out.

'Huh! Go figure,' he growled, and then remembered that it was winding up Nalini and MK that caused him to be sent to Karestra in the first place. He then hastily shut his mouth.

Izona turned a blind gaze to what Evangeline was reaching for, and lashed out, swiping at her guns and knocking them both well out of arm's reach. She then embedded her claws in Evangeline's throat, digging in, and almost breaking the skin.
The claws on her feet were safely stabbing the woman's shins, digging through her boots, and keeping her pinned in place. Izona's lips curled back into a wide grin, revealing a mouth full of white, razor sharp teeth.

Evangeline punched Izona twice, once in the face and once in the stomach, and tried to push the demon off her. When she was able to get back to her feet again, she did so, clutching at her still-bleeding knee and wincing. She tried to hobble back over to get her guns.

Anyway... It seems that those who came to save you are themselves in need of saving. Think you can hold out just a little longer while I get them out of here, and return for you with a bit more muscle?

As she did to Laulella, Izona leapt, landing on Evangeline's back, and causing the girl to topple over.

Unlike the Dysadin, however, Evangeline held her arms out so that her head did not bounce off the tiles. Instead, white hot pain shot up through her wrists. <********>!' she snarled, having smacked her wounded knee. She tried to roll over to get Izona off her, but the demon was too heavy for her.
