"How are you feeling?" Sandra asked Len and then reached into her bag to get medical supplies for Shiki.

Shiki sat down next to Sandra so she could get a better look at his wound. "...Better..." Len said.

"That's good," Sandra said with a nod and then looked to Shiki. "Take off your shirt," she told him.

"I'm thinking that was what was agitating her," Shiki said as he carefully peeled off his shirt to show his wound, "That part of her mind must have been tormenting her and making her irritable."

Sandra nodded. "That would make sense," she said as she inspected his wound. She picked up a cloth and began to clean it.

Shiki looked over to Sandra, "So it wasn't because it's Jayden that Len acted that way," He said, wincing from the cloth, "She would have attacked you or me if one of us rubbed her the wrong way. You understand that right?" He wanted to make sure, so that she doesn't treat Len like she's a bad person because of what had happened.

"Yes, adn it simplifies things a lot," Sandra said, glad that that was all that had been bothering her about Jayden. Of course, there were other things that she would have to deal with, if she went back, but none of them involved Len. She put the cloth down and began to bandage his shoulder.

"Well you know how docile Len normally is," Shiki said, "But I can't help but think she has been mistreated lately. I want to make it up to her."

"Any ideas on how to do that?" Sandra asked. She agreed with Shiki that they should do something for her. She had been through as much as they had, maybe more. She would help him.

Shiki gently petted Len, who was resting lightly, "I don't know. She never asks for anything. Does she tell you anything?" He asked.

"When you were asleep in the forest, she wanted to play. I made some grass tease her and she played with it," Sandra replied with a shrug.

"That's all she wanted? A game?" Shiki questioned and looked down at Len, "All of this could have been avoided if we just played with her more?" He doubted it.
