Adonai grinned at Rhea. "What do you think?"
Rhea buried her face in his neck, and after a few moments of hesitation, she nodded.
"Least til my wings go back inside," she said, her words coming out muffled by her father's clothes.
Adonai laughed. "Your mother isn't going to be angry, Rhea. You were working with your magic, not being reckless."
But Rhea refused to be comforted. She had not only opened her wings in the house, but made flowers and grass grow in the floor ... and made it rain all over herself. Haradhel was going to be angry, and Mama was going to be even more angry.
She just wished she could make her wings go away again.

"I think she's still upset at the accident we had earlier," Kara replied and coughed a bit, "I made the unwise choice of meditating inside the house, thinking the worse that could happen was something being upturned. Well... she has more magic than can be easily controled and so now the playroom smells... and looks a bit like spring."
It wasn't on purpose it just happened really no one's fault except for Kara's hindsight.
"Her wings won't go away because a large amount of magic was let out, it might take a while, we had to try another method."

Adonai was impressed. "I knew she had quite a large amount of magic," he murmured softly, rubbing Rhea's back gently and trying to comfort her, "but I ... do you have any idea about how much magic she might have? What her limits might be?"
He would talk to Haradhel about the playroom, and perhaps talk to Aragost, and find out if he could reverse the magic that had been done to it.

"To be honest I can't even begin to guess, certainly more than an adult elf would, granted my only experience in teaching an adult is Elnara," Kara admitted, "But it was enough where it made my head woozy, Toshiro I think has more energy than he's ever had in his life. I don't know if anyone had told you, but Toshiro has so little magic he use to sleep a lot so he leeches magic others give off and normally depends on Miyu only...."
She glanced over at Miyu who now had a little army of now angels and were watching them do a folk dance.
"I think for the moment Miyu has more magic than she's use to since she gives a part of it to Toshiro, and Toshiro is probably still running laps."

Adonai laughed heartily. "I have to admit," he grinned, "that once in a while I've felt it too, around Rhea ... that sudden inexplicable surge of energy, the need to do something more than just sit and write ..."
He chuckled again and brushed some of Rhea's hair away from her face, trying to look at her (which wasn't working, since she was still hiding her face in his neck). "It seems my little girl is quite powerful," he grinned at her. "I only wonder how powerful she will become."
He kissed her forehead, and she swatted him away with one hand. He chuckled again and turned back to Kara. "Come on, we might as well go inside and see how Haradhel is coming along," he grinned. "Were you planning on working with Rhea this afternoon as well? Or did you need a break? I could take her home again if you like, if she'll let me that is."
"Only if my wings are gone!" Rhea's voice came from his shoulder once more.

Powerful enough to possibly change seasons Kara thought silently to herself thinking back on it, and that said and done there might not be a limit. Rhea could be capable of many things, which begged the question... had there anything like this had happened in recorded history?
"A break," Kara admitted, "And I think I shall have Rhea in the mornings and give the children evening lessons."

Rhea lifted her head from her father's shoulder and looked at Kara in alarm.
"But you're going to help me put my wings away first, right?" she asked desperately. "I can't go home like this or Mama will be angry!"
Adonai stroked her hair gently, trying to calm her. "Mama won't be angry, I told you," he murmured. "She will understand ... just calm down ..."

"Your father is right, after all things happen, especially when you try to control magic," Kara nodded in agreement, "It's not like you did so on purpose... well not the wings and the flowers, and the grass and the rain at any rate."
Kara nodded at this and patted Rhea's head.

Rhea lowered her eyes once more at the reminder of what she had done.
"Papa?" she said nervously. "Maybe we should go home after all ..." She fidgeted uncomfortably.
Adonai chuckled softly. "I don't think she wants to be here when Haradhel finds out about her floor," he murmured.
Rhea hid her face in his neck again and shook her head.

Poor girl, was all that Kara could think of, but she couldn't help chuckle a bit.
"Well no different than the time someone came roses grow into the walls back home once," Kara mused thoughtfully, "Don't worry, I'll explain it to Haradhel. So you could still stay."

Rhea shook her head again and put her arms around Adonai's neck so that her face was entirely hidden.
Adonai smiled softly and put one hand on his daughter's back. "She'll be all right," he murmured. "You go on inside for lunch, I'll take her home to Shael. She'll be able to calm her down again."
His smile grew wider, and he bowed his head to Kara. "Thank you for helping her," he said sincerely. "I'll see you again tomorrow."
And with a final wave, he headed east, towards the woods.

"See you again," Kara waved before going to collect Miyu.
The snow angels stopped once Miyu's attentions was taken away from her little snow friends. She looked up and smiled widely at Kara, it seemed like she was feeling good about it.
"Come on," Kara murmured ushering Miyu inside, "Let's find Haradhel."

Haradhel had just finished putting the playroom back the way it was supposed to be, removing the plants from the floorboards and the water from the air, and was just on her way upstairs to wash when the door opened and Kara and Miyu stepped inside.
"How did it go?" she asked the two with a warm smile, her eyes bright and curious.

"The first attempt... went a bit out of control... well that is actually an understatement, we took it outside, the second attempt went much better," Kara replied, "She just has a lot more magic to control than someone even an adult. Oh, and we found out she can make it rain."
"And she has a lot of energy," Miyu added looking up at Haradhel from where she was clinging to Kara's skirts, "Toshiro has a lot of energy now, he went to run laps."

Haradhel laughed. "If by out of control, you mean that she made it to be spring in my playroom ... then yes, it was quite out of control."
She grinned at Kara. "Don't worry about it, I've already set things to rights ... one of the nice things about being an elemental summoner, there's not much that I can't fix. Everything is back to normal."
She paused, and her smile faded slightly. "And how did Rhea take it?" she asked. "That she had done that to the room?"
