"There's a lot of moss," Sandra replied, putting her hands again the ground. "And I mean a lot. There's also a lot of different reeds and river grasses like that. "I like there's probably a lot more in the swamp that are too far away for me to feel."

 "I see," Shiki nodded, "This place looks kind of creepy at first, but when you think of all the plant life that's here, it makes it not so bad," He said.

"Most places aren't as bad as people think," Sandra replied with a nod. "They often forget about all the life around them. There are few places that don't have plant life there."

Sandra nodded again but frowned slightly as her arm began to inch and she knew that wasn't good. She pushed out her sleeve and frowned at the angry red lines that formed a dashed circle around her fore arm. She scratched it gently.

"Just some old scars," Sandra said as she scratched the marks. "They itch when I start to overuse my magic." She had some more on her back and stomach but they didn't act up until she was very close to exhaustion.

Shiki still looked a bit worried. Of course, he couldn't say much; he has an old scar that's been known to act up as well. Usually when he sees something dead on the side of a road, or if he thinks about that fateful day thirteen years ago. His hand unconsciously rubbed his chest when he felt some discomfort. "But you will be okay right?" He asked.

Sandra nodded as she started to pull her magic back into her body. "Yes, if I take it easy now, nothing will happen," she explained as the itching began to die a little.

"Good," As Shiki said that he looked into Sandra's eyes again. He quickly turned away to hide his face, which had started blushing again.

Sandra looked a little concerned as he looked away from her again. She carefully pulled her sleeve down so it covered her scars again. "Are you sure you're alright?" she asked, watching him carefully.

"Nothing. Something moved over there and it caught my attention," Shiki lied. He mentally slapped himself. Did he ever listen to Sensei?

"Oh," Sandra said, flatly. It was apparent that she didn't believe him but she didn't ask anything else. She just looked away from him.

Shiki flinched. s**t, this isn't the way to be friendly with someone! "I-I'm sorry. I just..." Shiki looked ahead again. He looked troubled, "I only had this feeling once before...I just don't want to alarm you..." He said.

Sandra's forehead furrowed when he said this. She looked back at him. "Why? What happened then?" she asked.
