Some Might Say... Archereus, drew an arrow and just before drawing it stopped himself, shook his head and replaced it in his quiver. An encounter with the angel might prove fatal for him. He didn't like the odds. Beside that fact, there was little for him to earn from slowing their departure. "...!" Target! Kir turned to face Archereus and magic formed around him as he powered up. He was going to try and kill the target that had a weapon.

Some Might Say... Archereus shook his head. The angel had spotted him. That was... unfortunate. He hoped the warped creature would stand down before a battle erupted. That would be most unfortunate for the landscape around them, and, according to the odds, himself. Perhaps he could escape before such a showdown presented itself. Lily turned and spotted Archereus when Kir gathered magic around him. "Wait," she murmured to him. Then she called out to the man. "Who are you and what do you want?"

Some Might Say... Archereus stood from the crouch he had been in and shook his head, not answering. He did not answer questions of those too rude to observe simple etiquette. It was customary to introduce oneself before asking another's name. Of course, he had been spying on them, so perhaps he should let the brief insult slide. "Archereus" He replied. His voice came out as a harsh whisper, but somehow it carried as well as if he had called down to them. "Why were you spying on us?" Lily asked, not caring if she was polite or not. She just wanted to make sure this man wasn't going to cause any trouble.

Some Might Say... Archereus shook his head again. "Who are you?" He asked the girl, ignoring her question. "And what it that wretched being next to you?" Lily sighed. She wanted to go and now, but Keiri still hadn't answered, and she wasn't going to leave the girl if this man was dangerous. "I'm lily, okay? Now why are you spying on us?" she demanded.

Some Might Say... Archereus blinked. Yes, of course, that was all the creature pulsing enough energy to blow the summit off a mountain was! Just a angel turned vampire. Did the girl think him stupid? She must. Archereus decided a different tact. Perhaps there was reason behind her deceitful maneuvers. While the demon knew these two to be connected to recent history, he wasn't entirely sure who they were. Hell, they could be Zen and a couple of his servants for all he knew. "What is his name?"
