He nodded, now to himself. "I should return to my headquaters for sleep, tomorrow will be a long day. Interesting to say the least." Franky hurried through the house and to his room. He shut the door and collapsed onto the bed, out like a light before he hit the bed.

Lillith had enjoyed her shower and quickly fallen asleep on the guest bed. She slept peacefully at first and then started to toss and turn as she dreamed of fires overwhelmign her and her dead fiance on the floor before her. She woke up in the middle of the night, sweat pouring down her face as she nearly screamed as she sat up sharply. She looked around the room, confused at first before calming down. Knowing that she would not be able to sleep anymore that night, she put on some warm clothes and quietly walked down the stairs, trying to not wake anyone.

I sat in the kitchen, preparing tomorrow's breakfast. It is not like me to be nosy, but I could not help but hear Ms. Alexia and Franky speak of leaving tomorrow. I was not attached to this house, and was actually somewhat happy to go, but the least I could do was help out. Ms. Alexia never spoke to me anymore, as if I had driven a line between us when I brought Asher here. I wished she would forgive me. I added another chocolate chip to the pancake mix. Asher hasn't felt well lately, so he says, and spends hour after hour in his bedroom. I heard footsteps on the stairs. "Who's there?" I called into the night. I threw a robe on over my night gown. "Hello?"

Mallory's conversation with his father eventually died down as Mallory tired out. Just before he was ready to pass out completely, he finally read the note Franky had left. In his half asleep state, the words did not really sink in. He would have to read it again tomorrow. Mallory fell asleep as did his father not long after.

Lillith paused at the base of the stairs. "Sorry... I didn't know anyone else was up..." she whispered before entering the kitchen. "I... had problems sleeping..."

Franky woke up with a start. Another one of his nightmares about when he first saw the mongrel coming to attack them. There was no use trying to sleep again. There was a cluster of thoughts in the kitchen. Franky rolled back his shoulders and with a crik they felt better. He walked down to the kitchen. "What is the party down here all about? How come I was not invited?"

"It's alright, Lillith, I was just preparing tomorrow's breakfast, if you can't sleep you can stay down here with me," I sat her down at the table and went back to the stove. "Do you like hot cocoa? I would prepare some homemade for tomorrow but I'm not sure everyone..." Franky walked in, to be honest I don't know him really. "Oh hello Sir," I curtsied and opened the oven to check on my pumpkin bread, "We were just preparing breakfast, seeing as Miss Lillith couldn't sleep and we are leaving tomorrow for another safehouse, so I hear. Come down for something to ea..." I then put a hand to my mouth, remembering Alexia's words, tell no one. I was not supposed to know that. "I mean, I wasn't spying , per say, more so..." the words would not come out right. I thought about how father would slap me for hearing things I wasn't to hear, I could almost feel his alchohol drenched palm reaching rapidly toward my cheek. Some memories are as cruel as those who made them.

Lillith gave a small smile. "It's okay. Do you need any help with breakfast?" she asked, moving slowly and quietly towards the kitchen. She shook her head at this yet unnamed man. "No party, jsut a few people who have problems sleeping, I think..."

He nodded. "Alright. Oh, and the news does not have to be that much of a secret. People have a right to know since we will be moving them. To a right now undisclosed location, as of now. Moving is shock enough, but the state this place will be in after is horrid, I will let you talk about it. Just do not reveal to much about our plan. Plan's have the word secret next to them most of them time for a reason, you know. Refrain from spying next time please. Now may I have some of the loaf please? It looks delicious." Franky said smoothly, as not to raise any alarm. His tone of voice tended to scare even the most hardened of people. Only when he was angry. It was something Franky had to work on, which he was.

Alexia Moaned and rolled out of bed, she was still tired but had things to do. She would have to get every one ready before they knew of the move as well. She did not even get dress, she just walked down to the kitchen to see a crowd of people. She rubbed her eyes looking from face to face. "Shouldn't you guys be asleep?" She yawned and rubbed her eyes. She looked a mess. Her black hair was poofy around her head and her eyed had dark smudges under them. Her night gown was crooked around her small body and see looked a bit beat up.

"We probably should be, but we could not. One of them over heard our plan, so now the other girl knows more than half of it. You go back to sleep miss, you look tired. Also I don't think people would like to be walking around the drafty house in their night attire." Franky chuckled.

"Miss Alexia, I am sorry, the move had me worried so I began making breakfast," I said, handing a piece of the loaf to Franky. Miss Alexia seemed as if she had just walked out of a nightmare herself, so I motioned to the bread to her. "It's not the best, but it is fresh." I smiled to Lillith, "If you could get a few more eggs out of the refridgerator that would be most appreciated, thank you," The whole house was restless, but for some reason I was calmed by Miss Alexia's slightly ragged look, it told me she didn't mind who she was or how she looked. "Miss Alexia, please sit, you don't need to go back to bed if it haunts you as it does to us. Make yourself comfortable, I'll make cocoa." It was odd to feel like I was caring for, well, my caregiver.

Lillith nodded to the other girl and got the carton of eggs out of the refridgerator. "If you are going to make hot cocoa the old fashioned way you might want the milk too..." she suggested as she pulled it out as well. "Anything else?"

"Oh yeah, sorry I'm not really a culinary genius," I giggled. Everyone was quite wide awake, even considering that it was nearly one in the morning. "Oh and while your at it could you..." All the sudden I lost balance and my head felt heavy. I swayed a bit and put a hand to my head. I mouth was dry, it had been days since it had tasted warm, soft blood. Before I could reach for anything to hold on to, the floor slid out from under me and the world spun. Darkness surrounded my vision, I coughed for breath and tried to say something, anything to help, but couldn't. I didn't see life pass before me. I didn't die, but I felt as if the world had spat me out. I tried thinking straight, but all the words I could get out before completely knocking out were, need b...b...blood, a silent plead.

Franky chomped a big hole into the bread, then finished it in one gulp. "Thank you. I suggest we all attend to hunting right now. Tomorrow we will need our fill because the non existent god knows how long we will be stuck in the houses for. Follow me if you want to go hunting now." Franky walked out of the kitchen and down the hall, towards the front door. Where known horrors might already be.
