Aristodemos grinned sweetly. "Oh, thank you." He paused. "I posted up a couple of fliers there, it seems to be closed. I guess I'll visit it tomorrow." He left into the shadows. [[Now can I timeskip? XD]]

[[[No, Sam and Valentine just closed it, since there were no more customers for the night. After all, Sam needs to learn about those finances...]]

((Ohohoh okay..))
I watched the somehow attractive man walk away, not bothering to stop him this time. Something wasn't right about him... I didn't like it. And I had just possibly sentenced Sam to something she had been running from. "Teddy," I said through my dry throat. "Shall we continue to our room?" Without waiting, I picked him up. "Kit, do as you must," I said to her. "Feel free to book a room here. It will be nice to have you nearby." I carried Teddy upstairs, feeling increasingly guilty for even having thoughts about another man. But I couldn't be blamed. He was an incubus... I carried Teddy into the bedroom.

Sam woke up feeling rather light headed, and then saw a clock. "Oh no, I overslept." Putting on her clothes quietly to not wake Valentine, and locking the door behind her, she left the office to take her job at the ticket booth. She unlocked the gates, and then took out her reel. [[I'm giving Markus some leeway here to warn her.]]

((I'll leave my character asleep, probably post tomorrow, try not to bring in Aristodemos tonight, k? I'll be up at 5:30 though, so if you'll be up at that time we can bring him to us then.))

When Teddy woke, he wished he could still sleep. There hadn't been much rest for him last night. Both because Markus had ways of keeping him up and because he was worried about Sam. He'd wanted to talk to Markus about what he'd said and why he would, but something just kept turning his mind from it. Markus had carried him off to bed and he hadn't been able to get a protest past his lips. It was true he really lost track of his senses around Markus, but this time just seemed different. Could it have something to do with that man? Did Incubus powers even work that way? Or heck, it could just be Markus. Teddy had heard they could enthrall people, control how they felt. Would Markus do that to him?
Another thought made him sit up straight in bed. "It's not Sam. That picture isn't Sam at all." That Incubus was looking for a human; he'd said so. And humans didn't just become succubi, or half succubi. A relative, then? Like a sister,.or... "Ah, hell. No wonder it sounds like a stunt my parents would pull."

((Neither Teddy nor his player have figured that part out. It's not that I forgot, more that he doesn't have any theory on that. He just knows the picture isn't Sam, figures it has to be her mother with Aristodemos as the father.))

Teddy's sudden awakening had me conscious in seconds. I sat up and draped an arm around him, bringing him against my body. "What is it, what's wrong?" I asked softly, stroking his hair, lips against his ear. My other hand moved to stroke his chest soothingly, trying to calm him.

((Well, if any of it were solid, it wouldn't be so much fun to have my character trying to figure it out based solely on what he should know. lol So by all means, don't correct anything I got wrong on that. It's sheerly 'Teddy would think this based ONLY on what he has heard so far.'))

"I think we just met Sam's dad. I mean, he's looking for his human victim, but instead winds up in the same area as a half human succubus that looks almost exactly like her? That's just plain too weird." Teddy explains, then adds "We should ask her about him. I mean, ask her if it is him. Or something."

I raised an eyebrow as I held Teddy close. That was a very interesting observation... why hadn't I thought of that? Oh right. I was blinded by the sexual power of the incubus man. Damnit. Why had Teddy seemed immune? "Right," I said. "Okay. Let's get dressed and get down to the Circus."

"Think she'll still be there? I don't even know what time it is; I just woke up. I'm so dead when I finally get home." Teddy grimaced, but shoved that thought on the back burner. He lightly kissed the corner of Markus' mouth before he gets up to get dressed. He kind of hoped Sam took this as good news. Or, you know, laughed in his face and said her father was the human half. Teddy already figured it was going to be a less than stellar day; he didn't need and extra trouble.
