Esme chuckled lightly " a wonderfull idea" she smiled and kissed Carsliles cheek and Edwards forhead lightly "I'll set the tabel.." she smiled as she exited.

Edward smiled sheepishly at Esme when she kissed his forehead. She was so motherly it almost seemed....natural even though he wasn't her son.
"I'll help you." He stated, bending slightly to kiss Amanda.
Carlisle shook his head and placed his hand on Edward's shoulder.
"It's alright, I'll help Esme...you can stay here with Amanda." He smiled and left the room, closing the door behind him.

Amanda waited til Carslile was gone. She looked at Edward. "Dinner?" she asked softly.She thought they didn't eat human food. She was still in his arms,she didn't mind either.

Edward smiled and gently stroked her cheek.
"For you love....we're making dinner for you. We don't eat it but we can cook...fairly well." He wrapped his arms around her a little tighter and lifted her up into his arms bridal style. She was so light...
"While we wait....what shall we do? We have the house to ourselves....for the most part. Except the fact that the Bear downstairs is still probably watching his football game..."

Amanda luaghed "Hey he's fuzzy on the inside too" she joked.
He boomed out luaghing then stopped "HEY!!" he chuckled
She chuckled "I dunno...I mean..umm" she was confused on what todo. Her being in his arms seemed so natrual. She bit her lower lip thinking. "you must be dying to know whats going on in my little head" she poked her temple playfully

Edward shook his head.
"You have no idea how much I want to know what you're thinking.....it's driving me insane." He bent his head down and kissed her neck...well...almost that is. He had thought that he had the whole....control thing down but apparently he hadn't.
Edward jumped back away from her like he had been shocked by an electrical current.
"I THOUGHT I HAD IT!!!!" He growled furiously.
Carlisle could hear Edward from upstairs. He hoped that Amanda was alright...it wasn't that he didn't trust Edward, it was more like....he knew what Edward was capable of and didn't want Amanda to witness that.
"I hope she's alright..." He muttered beneath his breath for Esme to hear.

Amanda jumped slightly,freezing herself in place.An instinct when she paniced. She gawked at him,shocked.
Esme shook her head softly. "I know she is...you saw the way he looked at her" she smiled softly,going back to work on dinner.

Carlisle nodded his head and pondered for a moment.
"Yes....that's the thing I'm worried about. Edward is so much in love with her that I'm afraid that he'll take things too hard and he'll beat himself up for the smallest things..." He heard a crash from upstairs.
"I hope that wasn't him....."
Edward clenched his teeth tightly together and hissed a long breath. His fist was plunged into the walls of the room, the plaster and paint had crumbled to the ground.
"I really thought I had it too...."

"E-edward...calm down" her voice trembled slightly. She tried to calm herself down she hated making him angry...just beating herself up as usual. SHe had her arms wrapped around her abdomen.
He rolled his eyes
Esme sighed shaking her head softly. "I understand.." after the crash. "New paint job...."

Edward wanted to run, to get out of the house and run as fast as he possibly could. He didn't want to hold back and slow himself down, no, he wanted to full out run at the break-neck speed he was so used to.
"I'm so sorry Amanda....I know I scare you...but I really believed that I had my control down....." He pulled his hand out of the wall and shook the excess dust off of it.
Edward leaned against the wall and slid down until he was sitting, dejectedly, he hung his head low.
Carlisle looked upstairs as if he could see through the floor.
"We....will need to replace that wall up there..."

Amanda looked at him shocked then she chuckled "You think your scaring me?.." she luaghed again. "I'm mad at myself...." She sat down across from him.She grabbed her scarf and wrapped it around her neck.

Edward looked up at her with an odd expression on his face. She wasn't afraid of him?
"Wait a moment.....you.....are not....frightened by me? At all? Even in the least? Just a LITTLE bit?" He couldn't comprehend it. To him he was an evil monster who deserved to die....shouldn't it be the same for everyone else as well?

Edward nodded and smiled slightly, it wasn't a full smile that reached his eyes but it was something.
"You have no idea how much my throat aches right now, it feels as if someone has their hands around my neck and is trying their hardest to crush it..." He was used to pain but this was...unimaginable.

Amanda somwhat understood. Though it pained her to say it: SHe smiled apologeticly "Maybe...I should go.." she whispered. She started to stand up slowley so her scent didn't burn as much.
