(( sweatdrop Umm... usually I'm not this inactive, I swear. It's just the Olympics thing. And summer school. But I only have four more days of summer school, and I think the Olympics thing ends tonight, so... yeah. )) Randall was nice and sauced when Mason had come to his room. Naturally, he had been drinking, and lucky for him, had thrown the most recently-emptied bottle into the garbage when Mason came in.
"Randall... we need to talk."
Then Mason essentially just flat out broke up with Randall and left. Randall, in an inebriated state, didn't feel a thing, didn't even make a sad face. He then grabbed underneath his bed, grabbed a smaller bottle of liquor, and downed it in one big gulp. He wiped his mouth, stood up, put on his favorite leather coat, then walked to the front door.
"I'm goin' out..."
Randall announced his departure loud enough for everyone to hear, and left, heading straight for the local bar.

"No really it's fine I didn't really need to sleep, besides diner will be ready soon anyway. You did? Well i guess if there were that many secrets it makes sense. Come here theres no reason to cry if you think you did the right thing." John stood up and huuged the sobbing Mason in front of him. He didn't liek it when people cried although he cried a lot although he was supprised that he didn't have any dreams.

Mason sat with John on the couch, but was sinent as Randall went out. "I guess I did, but it still hurts, you know? We're best friends. And he just leaves like that..." She trailed off and hugged John, crying on his shoulder.

Alex, who was still playing had been impervous to everything that was goin on. Lost in the music and his thought, he wondered. Am I really ok with this whole twin thing?... He sighed and stopped playing momentarily before picking out a new song. Yea... maybe... I just don't know... He got up and sat down, looking at Mason as if she was far away. "Ma- Mason, what's wrong?"

When he asked john made a face indicating, "dont ask". "It's ok Mason..." He let her cry on his shoulder, he knew he needed it. Besides she was there for him when his girl friend broke up with him. "I think he might be kind of upset thats all. I'm sure he'll come to his senses. i think me and Alex should have a talk with him and his drinking problems shouldn't we Alex?"

"Augh, ummmmm... I'm going to go see if Lila needs any help..." He got up and ran pretending to go into the kitchen, but got back on the piano. Beginning to play again. He became once again impervious to his surroundins as his hands flew across the keys, playing a one-person duet.

"That would be... wait, what!?" She jumped up. "You knew? You knew about his drinking but you didn't tell me? Did you think, for one second, his girlfriend might like to know something like that!? I mean, just found out about it, John!" Her face, red with anger, she turned to Alex. "Let me guess, did you know too? Why is everyone leaving me in the dark!" She fell on the couch, no longer crying, but you could almost swear steam was coming from her ears.
Then, after cooling down a bit, she said "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to explode at you... I'm just sick of it."

John just took it..he didn't care. "Not to offend you but..it was quite obvious he had drinking problems. He always had a head ache, He always cam home very late, He always smelt like beer, and he always acted liek a typical drunk..it wasn't hard to figure out really. So he didn't know what he should do to comfort her. He just sat there and wondered what her respose would be.

Mason just stared at the wall. "Yeah, I guess we were just not around each other enough for me to notice. Anyway, I'm kind of glad it's over. I mean, I hardly knew how to act around him. I suppose I can't handle a relationship. MAybe I should just quit. I can get a bunch of cats, and be happy. I don't have to keep secrets from cats..." Mason mumbled on about cats until eventually she fell asleep on John's shoulder.
