She closed her eyes, spilling tears. Why did those words make her feel so... she didn't even know how to describe it. Like she was shattering, but also like... something appearing. Nothing made sense. Why would anyone but her want her to be the way she was? She didn't get it. Some how the words both hurt....and filled her with something indescribable, almost unbearably pleasant.

Universe frowned and wrapped his arms around her, "Whatever is wrong, my dearest Lilly? What has brought these tears so that I can vanquish it for you?"

She opened her eyes and looked at him, her eyes looked lost and confused, but had the first glimmers of love in them, though even she herself had no clue what the emotion was. "What...have you done...to me?" she whispered.

"I have caused this?" He frowned, swearing at himself. "Oh Lilly...I did not mean to hurt you. I could never do such a thing. Please, my dear, forgive me?"

Universe held her tighter, resting his chin on the top of her head. "Do not be afraid. I am sure that this will make sense eventually. But for now, until it does, you are free to lean on me. I will keep you safe and well."

"I..... am who I am..." she said softly. She was shaking all over inside and out. She didn't k now if she wanted these feelings gone, or desperately wanted to cling to them, but she did know... that she couldn't be some one else... that if he thought he could mold or "Fix" her.... well he wouldn't be the first to try, but some how the idea of treating him the way she had the others didn't appeal. Suddenly the thought of his leaving filled her with dread. What had he done to her?
