Red gives a short laugh. "I don't live here," she replies simply, "I don't really live anywhere but on my ship. We travel alot, my sister and I. We come here because The Muse is the single most exclusive club in this solar system. After we are done cruising around the rest of Berlin, you know, hitting all of the nice little seedy spots and the overrated vamp hangouts, we always crash here for a bit to unwind."
Giving Freya a gauging once over, she slides onto a stool and props her elbows on the countertop. "Why, you new here?"

Freya scoots onto the stool next to Nirvana and smirks, "It's that obvious huh? Yea, this is my second day here. I don't really know much about this planet. I mean hell, I was surprised when the sun set in the middle of the afternoon. I just came here because the guy behind the counter at the creepy hotel a few blocks over said this was the place to be."

"Aww, you mean the shadow guys?" Nirvana returns with a giggle, "Those poor bastards. They never seem to get a break. They got that hotel ages ago, not realising it had some curse on it. They have been trying to clean it up since, but no matter what they do the building always looks like it's falling apart. It's terrible for business. Well, I'm sure you can imagine." She raises a hand to motion absently around the club. "With ritzy places like this around here, that poor little ancient hotel has little chance of prosperity."
Rapping her fist lightly against the counter, she signals for a bartender to head their way. "What brings you to Berlin?"

Figuring that this was a good a time as any to start gathering some intelligence she scans the area around her and Red, and leans in closer to her. She speaks at a tone that is just audible to Nirvana, "What have you heard about a show called Cirque du Nocturn?"

Raising an eyebrow, Nirvana leans in closer as well, and murmurs back "I know it's pretty hush, hush and secretive.." she tells her, her tone reverting to a more serious nature. "You know, not discussed usually in public.."

Freya's expression grows deathly serious, "Look, if you know anything that would be of help to me I'd be very grateful for anything you could tell me. I don't care if we have to talk about it in an underground military bunker."
The (apparently) young kunoichi reaches into her jacket and pulls out a few bills. "There's more where this came from if I like what I hear. Buy some new parts for your ship, or your bike."

Red glances around the bar, almost as if she is making sure they are not being watched. Then she leans even closer, her voice dropping just as low.
"I think I saw one of their.. devilish members.. last night, after I left the club. Then more came.. an entire cast of hellish circus folk.. as plain as black and white.."

The fur on Freya's tail raises as Nirvana comes closer to her. Freya's face doesn't change, "Somehow, Red, I find that hard to believe. I highly doubt that a traveling hell club would make themselves out so obviously. Don't screw with me. As you saw from my display earlier, my patience isn't exactly where it should be for a sane person."
She pulls out a few more bills and sets them on the bar top, "Now either back up what you just said or give me something better. Though I doubt you desperately need this money, a girl can't say no to spoiling herself can she?" She smiles minimally, wondering what it is about this woman that is setting off her danger senses.

Nirvana shrugs faintly, still paying little heed to the money. "I don't know if they were who you were looking for, but I did see some hellish circus folk," she replies flatly. She quiets as the tender arrives, and takes a moment to order the two of you a couple of beers. Once he's gone, she raises up a bit from her seat in order to snag one of the litle snack bowls from behind the counter. Placing it infront of her, she picks up a sugared almond, rolling it slowly between her fingertips. "I saw them around.. it had to be maybe 5 this morning. We didn't leave until late. I'm not sure if anyone else saw them." Freya relaxes a little bit, sitting up a bit more, "Did you get a good look at any of them? Don't suppose they're regulars?" Freya takes a few of the almonds and begins munching on them, realizing she hasn't eaten in a few hours.

"No.. fraid not.." Nirvana muses, her eyes scanning over the little almond playing between her fingers. "You can't really see any details in black and white." An empathetic smile lightly traces over her lips, "I mean sure, they have been digitally enhanced and all that, but you can only do so much to aid an Elvira Double Monster Movie Feature. Hell, they were supposed to be crap. That is why they were so classic." Glancing at Freya again, her smile broadening. "But I am sure there were some evil demon clowns in there.." Her expression shifts to thoughtfully distracted.. "I think they were eating the town's children.."

Freya cuts her eyes at Nirvana and slowly pulls the money back into her jacket while chewing on the nuts. She contemplates stabbing her in the throat with a kunai while her hand is in her jacket and again restrains herself. "Elvira...are you f*ing kidding me? Did you bash your dome in a race or something?" Suddenly Freya feels that need for a beer again and starts looking around for the barkeep.

((wow I haven't posted in EVER, so very sorry. I shall replace this failpost with my reply posts, if that is alright?)) Bayushi Tetsu Minai chan There is the faintest sound of stirring from within the wagon, then Angie hears the click of the latch. The door opens just a crack, revealing only the flickering light of a candle from within. I return her grin with an encouraging smile before glancing back towards the brute squad to make sure we have not been noticed. Hearing the door click, I quickly move up the steps behind Angie. "Go on in, young one, and keep that orb close." I instruct her quietly. "We must get inside before we are seen or we will never lure the fairy out."She nods and clutches the orb to her chest, eyes gleaming with excitement and curiosity. She steps forward gently, with as much quiet as she could muster, and looks around curiously. She had never been in here before. Urban Thorne «<{ Thorne }>»"Unfortunately, love... we do all of our own photography and graphics here, specifically at the Mistress's request. A lot of our models and such prefer the privacy and control over their images that our Mistress offers, and we just can't guarantee that with an outside contractor. If there's anything else I can help you with, though," Thorne offered with a hopefully apologetic smile, clearly not happy with the fact that the news was going to disappoint the young man, "just let me know, and I'll see if I can get it accomplished for ya before the end of my shift..."  Nathan flushed a little, but managed to suppress his disappointment yet again. How could he make such a silly mistake? He ignored it for the moment, and focused instead on talking: he might as well have a good time, and not waste the trip here, for it truly was a magnificent place. “I understand my lady and thank you for your understanding when I have clearly not paid enough attention to the rules of the establishment.” He bowed solemnly, and gestured towards the various drinks. “Perhaps you would be so kind as to assist me in organizing which drink I should indulge myself in, as I certainly could not waste a trip here.”

"Oh, right," the sarcasm in her voice obviously intended more to poke than to actual humiliate, "You come in here, tripling antes, waving bills around, asking about secret organizations, and just totally talking out of your a**..." She looks the girl square in the eye, amused and dubious, "And you are asking me if I'm off my rocker??"
As per Nirvana's earlier request, the bar keep reappears with a couple of pints to distribute to the girls. Nirvana thanks him, then returns her attention to Freya. "I don't know where you come from honey, but you are in a whole different league here." She continues, shaking her head, "No wonder you have having such a shyty day."
Taking a healthy swig from her beer, she wipes her mouth with a hand. "If you are really serious about trying to get some information on whatever you are looking for, you need to be willing to take some friendly advice without attaching some hidden threat to your conditions. This is a good place for inside knowledge, but you have to know how to approach it."

Freya raises her hand and opens her mouth as if to rebut, then seems to loose steam and exhales sharply. She draws her raised hand to her mug and swivels back toward the bar, turning her head toward Nirvana. "Well, I really can't argue with you there Red." She takes a healthy swig of her own and wipes her mouth with the back of her other hand. "I've spent so much time on my own I guess I've forgotten how to talk to a friend. Or hell, some wild woman that I've just met."
She stops for a little bit and her eyes wander, like she has a moment of deep thought. Then she smirks, followed by a smile, then a snicker. "Elvira...*snirk*...that was pretty good. I really walked right into that one."
