"T-The crime." I said quietly laying my head on your chest as you rocked me. My eyes were wide as I shook. "The fowl, bloody crime." I choked out, locking my eyes into the dark void of the Wraith's would be face. "murdered me..."

I watched with growing curiosity as Sean began raving about murder. For some reason, I felt that I was related to it somehow. I slowly drew closer as Sean continued to rant. I think Erik said something, but if he did, it fell on deaf ears, the only thing I saw or heard was Sean. The anger inside of me was steadily outgrowing and consuming my curiosity.
"You have murdered me...." I said without realizing that I actually said anything, I seemed to be in some sort of trance, "Murdered me...murdered me...MURDERED ME! Murdered...me..." I trailed off and remained completely motionless for a few seconds before snapping my head at what would have been an almost impossible angle for anyone alive. I reset my sight on Sean and continued my approach as more, involuntary and unnoticed phrases left me unseen lips, "You have murdered me...my wife...my family!" I said unknowingly as I began to slowly reach for Sean with my hand while still approaching, hatred and anger flooding me.

I stood, pushing the wraith back. "Can we all," I began, my voice escalating with every word, "just calm the ******** down!?" I took a deep breath. "Okay," I said in a much quieter voice. "So. It seems Sean is suffering a neurological meltdown for reasons we don't understand... well, at least, reasons I don't understand. You, Wraithy, seem to have a pretty good grasp on things. However, if Sean did kill you, an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Ghandi said that. Do you really wanna argue with Ghandi? 'Cause he'll have Aallah come down here and bust a cap in your a**." I think I was going slightly delirous from Tori's sudden suicide and Sean's insanity. "So," I continued. "Wraithy dearest, you're not killing Sean." I leaned against the wall and folded my arms, as if this had all been settled.

This was all like a terrible horror movie. Some strange force making me scream about murder, some thing hovering closer and closer with every intention to kill. Erik stepped into the matter, and tried reasoning with words... I didn't think the wraith would care much about logical arguments.
I stood silently for a second, all I thought was "Run... run.... run..." I snapped out of whatever was holding me and thats what I did. I grabbed Erik's hand, not stopping give him an option. He was coming with me. I pulled him out into the hallway, my hand tight around his as I just started sprinting in whatever direction I could figure. I hadn't seen the wraith move at full speed yet, it was only a matter of time before the chase began.
"Like a freaking horror movie. Stuck in a house sealed down with steel coverings over all the exits and surrounded by light that would flake us apart and turn us into a miniature firework show." I said, my head over my shoulder looking into Erik's eyes and also behind him to see if the wraith had decided to chase. "I don't know where to go!" I stopped for a second.

I didn't have time to react as Sean's hand closed around mine as he dragged me through the Manor. Soon, I had lost all sense of direction. I hadn't appreciated the Manor's size until now. "Sean, what are you doing?" I gasped as I wrenched my hand from his.

I focused on Sean intensively as he took Erik's hand and ran. The instant Sean left me sight, I suddenly snapped out of my trance, the built up anger gone, replaced by confusion and amnesia of the event that just occurred. I looked around, trying to figure out what was going on.
I heard voices nearby and decided to investigate. I slowly made my way towards the voices, they sounded distant, but I could tell that they came from within the manor.

I was too panicked and too out of breath to really explain. I pressed my cold lips onto Erik's cheek and held onto one of his arms. "That wraith has it out for me. Thats why its here." I said, taking a few more breaths and fighting the tears back in my eyes. Being with Erik made me feel secure, weather or not that sense of security was false or not was what was scaring me.

My gaze was frantic as I stared at Sean. I was utterly confused, as i had never been before. "What in the hell are you talking about, Sean?!" I hiss, trying to keep my voice down. "Why would a wraith want to harm you?!" Slowly, though, I began to put two and two together. Wraiths were dead people, right? Right. Sean went out on a rampage a few nights ago, right? Correctomundo. Maybe he... no. He wouldn't have killed anyone. "You didn't," I breathed. "Did you?"
~~~
"Alright," I said from behind the whispering pair. "Sean, Erik, come with me." I began up the side staircase and proceeded to the back of the Manor, where there was another, smaller staircase. I waited for the two to catch up. Erik was the first to appear around the corner.
I continued to follow the voices, finding my way through the manor wasn't particularly difficult. Though I had regained a few of my more human features thanks to Erik, I was still technically incorporeal and could phase through most thin walls in seek of the voice's source. I was getting closer, I could tell that, I also heard a third voice.
My hand ran against a bar of the large gate in front of what was said to be Blood Manor. You only had to spend a few days in this town to know the rumors of this forsaken mansion. "Vampire's and other ungodly creatures crowd the rooms," said one. Another replied, "I heard that if you walk past the house on the eve of a full moon you can hear the cries of girls being changed into vampires!" "Maybe," I thought," just maybe i could make a new home here?" Acceptance was all i wanted, after traveling from city to city. I didn't know what may or may not be inside but the house seemed dark enough to suit my taste. I slowly pushed the gate open and made my way up the steps to the door. I knocked three times, and waited for an answer. Silence. I reached my hand out towards the door knob and twisted it. With ease, it opened. "Maybe the rumors weren't true." Carefully, I closed the door behind me.
I heard the front door open and shut, and cut a glance at the two boys. Could they be trusted alone? "I'll be right back," I grumbled. I hurried out the door of my room and down the hallways, down the staircase to greet the newcomer. "Hello, welcome," I said, putting on my best nothing's-wrong-no-one-just-killed-themselves-there-isn't-a-possible-murderer-here face. "Make yourself at home. Is there anything in particular I could help you with?
Startled by the sudden company I nearly fell backwards. "Sorry. I was just looking. I didn't really think there was anyone here, though I guess I should have listened to the townsfolk..." The remainder of my sentence faded off to a point where it seemed as If I was talking to myself. My gaze moved from the red haired girl to the floor, then back. Something was wrong, but I couldn't tell exactly what, nor did I want to find out. "No, I'm fine, thank you."
I smiled down at the helpless girl in front of me. At least, she seemed helpless. I knew she wasn't. She was most definitely a vampire. "No, no," I said, draping an arm around her shoulders and guiding her into the kitchen. "I'm sure the rumors you heard were not from the 'townsfolk,' as you so generally put it. Most likely, the extremists that want us gone." Once in the kitchen, I began to mill about, setting out glasses and drink ingredients. "Anything in particular you'd like, dear?" I asked in a motherly voice that sort of disgusted me. But anything to distract a newcomer from the problems at hand in the Manor.
I took a seat at the table as I watched her take out a variety of ingredients. Her soft voice was somewhat soothing, which made me comfortable in this new place. "Just water, please," I replied.
I glanced at her. "Just water?" I asked skeptically. I shrugged. "Suit yourself." I moved to a cabinet and took down a glass, walking to the fridge and pouring water from a pitcher. I took the glass over to the girl and set it on the table in front of her.
