Tavii rolled over in her sleep. She moaned and jumped up suddenly, her eyes wide open. She gasped, looked around, and let out a relieved sigh. ~Ah--It was just a dream. No monsters here....~ When she noticed Cain sleeping in the corner, she crawled over to him as quietly as she could, gazing at him for a while. Lately, whenever she would watch him like this, when he didn't notice her, her heart would begin pounding and she would get the sudden urge to be next to him. She blushed a little at that thought, then crawled towards the door(whatever it is...opening...zip up...thing...). She stopped, looked back at him, then leaned forward, kissing him on the cheek and saying, " T-Thank you. For your kindness." She got up and left.

Tavii walked quietly but quickly towards the carriage. Climbing in the back, she started to dig through the various boxes the "merchant" left behind. ~It has to be here somewhere...~ Throughout the boxes, she found different chains, ropes, knives, and shackles, obviously used for kidnaPping and binding future slaves, which he would later sell. But there was one box, however, that was hidden secretly underneath the drivers seat. It was small and wooden, with fire symbol on it that Tavii did not recognize. Upon opening it, however, she found many old papers--mostly maps. There was also a small brown money pouch. Tavii picked it up, weighed it, and smiled at her new found "fortune". She dug through the box for a moment and studied each paper carefully. Finally, she found what she was looking for. Climbing out of the carriage, she unfolded the tightly-bound document she was looking for. She spread it out on the ground, and, behold! A map of this and the nearby countries.~Great!~

It wasn't too long before Cain woke up. Being a knight got you used to running on very little sleep, and before long you ended up waking up not long after you fell off in the first place. He wasn't sure if this was one of those times, but it didn't really matter. He stretches, yawning a bit as he looks around the tent... Tavii wasn't there, but it was alright. He knew she could take care of herself, and he didn't feel the normal nagging dread he did when someone close to him was in trouble... well... she was close to him now so he figured he would know if she was.
He headed over to the front of the tent, feeling a little odd... like he had missed something important while he had been asleep. He glanced around, seeing Tavii looking at a map that she had unrolled on the ground. He looks at it over her shoulder, whispering. "So, where did you find that?"

by the end of the day, Koontz had made it to the edge of the desert in a little town. he checked into the inn and asked for a map of the desert. he studied the parts that people were actually able to get. it wasn't much. the furthest out he could see was about 1 mile then the map stopped. he would have to make it to the oasis there and then see what he could do. not much came to mind. he would have to just wing it.

"Ugh..We gotta get back to the others." Innocence muttered, lifting herself up off the ground. She'd slept for maybe ten minutes, but she would be fine. She stood, wobbling slightly, and nudging Leon with her foot.
