shakeing his head amused he let her pull him in, but he minet he hit water he dunked her. he laghed as she came back up, then swam a little ways to stay out of her reach. " ah, Mummy Mim. mayhap the water will help cool that temper." he said playfuly, remembering her glare. he splashed lightly at her then lazily began to float on his back.

he grined. "ah.. now why would i do that? as a wolf i cant do this." as he said that he dove underwater and cought her by her ankle, pulling her under water again then swimming to a rock that was barly underwater. he sat ont he rock, satified that he won.

he spit water out then smiled and ducked out of her view. a few moments later he whistle's to get her attention. he was sitting on a taller rock with a lop sided grin. " your right, Victory. for me."

he raised an eyebrow at that, amuseing himself with a thought before he held his hands up. he was still grining. " alright, im comeing." he ran and jumped from the rock, landing in the water near Mim and causeing it to hit her full on. he came back up and swam around the rock, enjoying himself. he looked up at her innocently. " well, you did say come on. i came."

"hmm?" he murmerd, reaching his arms out so he could catch hold of the rock. his hair was alread wraped around his arms, so he pulled himself up to sit next to Mim. he begain braiding his hair as he listend to her.

he noded and layed back on the rock. he didnt touch her, giveing her room so she could say what she needed. after a while he lightly touched her shoulder and smiled alittle. " i understand.. and i share the feeling. i... " he sighed and looked at his hands. " i know your story.. i think its fair for you to kow mine.. i cant tell all of it, nor can i explain a few things.. but still.." he had a far away look as he told her. " i loved once before.. she was my angel.. saved me from death and gave me hope again. i loved her, swore to defend her.. " his fingers twitched. " but she died.. it was a war, she fought at my side. i.. saved something but didnt see him. she did. she took the blow and died in my arms." he kept his voice low, but a hard note enterd it. " i wont let that happen again.. see someone i care for cut down because i couldnt do anything to help.." he shook his head and fell silent, only adding. " you asked once.. how i learned to play the harp. i learned from her.."

his eyes sparked with guilty amusement. "with out risk, i would be dead. i never gave her my binding.. i would have died with her if i had. i took the risk that i could save her with out it." he looked up at Mim and shook his head with a smile. " you are closer to me than a friend, but we do not know each other well as of yet. give it time and lets see what happens."
he stayed where he was, feeling the water run over his toe's.

he didnt bother denying it. didnt want to. he slowly noded and held his hands forward again, this time for her to see. " my hands are stained with blood... far more blood than there ever should be." he looked at his hands, as if still seeing the blood. " i killed, in the war and after, to protect the harp. Bain fought then to, though then she was just a child. at least in demon years. now she is considerd a teen. her father was Kiren.. the New Moon Wolf.. he fought and died in the war, as did his children. exept Bain and her brother, who were to young to fight at the time. not long after the war.. a man killed Bains brother, he had been trying to help the human but the man didnt understadn. shot him outright and beheaded him." he sighed and let his hands fall to the water. " i took the harp from the resting place in the cave's. fled. the other side wouldnt stop, kept pushing.. so i played. every man and woman in the enemys hold died.. " he brought his hand up and pulled the harp from his pocket. it was still dry, would never get wet or break. he held it out to Mim. " this is a harp. but it holds the power to move mountains and open the gates to hell... it was why the war was started in the first place.. and after the war i had to kill anyone who got to close to learning about the harp... im tierd of killing."
