"Of course my lord, your will be done." Eilov watched as the imposing lord of Au Shinduago made his way back into his domain. As the lord vanished Eilov released a sigh. So, replace an assassin with an undead, this will be fun indeed. I have to hand it to him, the patron does know how to utilize available resources...
Eilov stepped into a nearby shadow traveling to his hovel of a home on the plane of shadows to prepare the necessary undead for the replacement, after all, killing was easy masking the death was the hard part...

Eilov stepped out of the shadows, taking a moment to recover from the pull of the mother cyst. Eilov strode towards the door once more. Rapping upon it he awaited the Lord Druu'giir or one of his agents to answer...

At the gate, two shadowy figures slipped from the ebony stone surrounding the metal gate itself. They wore identical uniforms of color shifting black material, close cut and made to hide all but their eyes. One moves to stand guard, watching the surroundings while the other approaches Eilov, eyes narrowed slightly. Neither wore weapons openly, but had strange gloves on their hands.
"The Jabbuk said you would be returning, come.. follow me."
It was obvious by the dialect that the speaker was drow, though there was a hollowness to the voice that couldn't be placed. The first guard led Eilov to the side of the gate, then with a hand on his arm, through the stone itself. They were followed by the other guard moments later. Once inside the wall, they seemed to relax ever so slightly.
"What do you have to report? Patron Druu'giir said to take your update, then send you to the Market district. You have a dwelling there now, its above the exotic slave shop at the end of the chained way. The key is hidden under a stone on the windowsill. So.. what do you have to tell us?"

Marveled by the transmutation magic, or perhaps some other kind of magic, Eilov was silent for a moment assuming that no one could hear his report aside from the guard, "I have implanted two members of the assassins guild with a necrotic tumor. One of them is under my control as we speak, I can direct him in any way the Lord sees fit. The other seems to be a prominent female figure that possibly reports directly to the guildmaster." Laughing to himself for a moment, "They thought I was a new recruit and aimed for me to infiltrate House Druu'giir. If necessary I can kill either member of the guild at any time." Eilov handed the guard the emblem that the assassins had given him and waited for a moment, controlling the pain of the mother cyst was difficult after so little rest.

Reaching out, the guard took the offered emblem and looked it over, then chuckles softly. His gaze lifted to Eilovas he spoke.
"Its a near perfect forgery of our House Crest pin, but it doesn't have the spells that our Lord wove into each of ours.
See.."
He hurls the crest pin at the wall, but it merely hit and bounces off. The second guard retrieves it while the first shakes his head.
"Perhaps its best that they don't know those fakes don't work. If you were sent to infiltrate, then you will need proof. Take my piwafi and hood. Only the Shadow Guard wear them, Patron Druu'giir creates each set for the individual drow when they earn the right to be called one of his Honor Guard.
I will pass along your information and spread the rumor that one of our number was killed under mysterious terms. Go now.. my companion will see you through the wall and into the alleyway beyond."
The guard removes his hood and cloak, handing them over, then turns and heads for the estate while the second guard takes Eilov by the arm and leads him back through the wall to the dark alleyway on the far side, away from the gate. Once they are through, the guard turns around and vanishes without a word into the wall once again.

Eilov sneaked away towards the docks district grateful that the assassins would not be able to reach him within the walls of the house if he were discovered...

Eilov stepped out of the shadows and from one plane onto another. Collapsing in the darkness his mind ablaze with the problems he now faced. If I flee Lord Druu'giir will surely hunt me down and flay me limb from limb; and if not him then the assassins and Ironclaw will hunt me down giving me no rest. Damn it all, I'm going to have to find a way to save myself. Think think think...
Eilov waited in the shadows for three hours running through every possible opportunity and every single downfall. Damn it all I only have three options! If Ironclaw hadn't caught on I could have been successful! One, track down a Dracolich, pray to Lolth it doesn't eat me and somehow have it favor me enough to keep away any threat. Two, become a lich or vampire and enslave the assassins guild, turning them against Ironclaw. Or three, and that which I fear the most... Bring the Far to Ironclaw and rid this world of him forevermore...
Eilov rose from the shadows and made his way to the gates of Lord Druu'giirs vast estate. "I have come to seek knowledge forbidden to the eyes of mortals."

A shadowed form steps from the gate, gazing down at the male for several long moments. As if born to the shadows, they obey this one, flowing down off his skin to pool beneath him, awaiting his commands. Val'atar Druu'giir tilts his horned head slightly as he peers at Eilov.
"I know many things that no mortal knows. I have stood beside a God, delved the knowledge of demons and dragons. I speak with my mind and shape the very fabric of reality with my power.
Who are you to ask such a thing of me when you have already failed your task?"

Eilov bowed as low as he could praying to Lolth that Lord Druu'giir would not gut him were he stood, "My lord I still hold three members of the assassins guild under my thumb. I believe that I can still be of use to you though. I wish to become a lich my liege and I know that one of such vast knowledge as yourself could aid my attempt. My plan would be, with your permission, to attain lichdom and from there probe the darkest regions of the shadow plane as well as the negative energy plane for a method to control or at the very least, guide, Ironclaw toward your goals. You would have access to all the knowledge of the assassins actions and plots. Along with the opportunity to eradicate the entire guild at any moment."
