Natamo awoke and stretched, the crocodile skin piled up next to her. She had finished it in the wee hours of the morning, after Sorri dumped it next to her, and then curled back up to sleep. Orika had not returned with her squad, and Sorri had dumped the reptile next to her. Her mind was slightly confused, and Natamo didn't feel like dealing with the world today. She stretched again and called out to Karite and Hana, "Did you ever find Orika? I didn't see her with you guys. And here...if you spot Sorri, give him his skin. He did well bringing it here." Natamo rolled her shoulders and watched the two, holding out the skin and tilting her head.
"You guys worked well yesterday. Good job, the both of you. You're welcome here anytime you want," she said, a note of pride in her voice. She motioned towards the exit of the lagoon. "Go on, have some fun today. Don't skip class or anything but yeah," she chuckled.
[Did you guys get rewarded for anything you did while I was gone?]

Karite was broken mid-strike as Natamo asked about Orika. He was still a little sore about the whole situation that unfolded. Today was his day to train and get his mind off of things. He had a lot to do before Maya returned anyway. As he turned to Natamo he spoke of Orika in a slightly less loving tone. If any really knew Karite they would have picked up on this. "She isn't a gennin, there was no reason for her to come back with us. She slept at the clinic. I have training to do as well so it is for the best. I have jutsu training I need to catch up on before Maya returns." Karite turned around again, his body was moving. He just turned. He was still confused as to what happened last night. He sold himself for her. His free spirit had just been locked down.

Kore was ignoring his surroundings as always, as he continued running. Moving fast was easy for the strong legs of the lion, but it was the control that was hard. Moving at such a speed came in handy, but one slip up and the ground was the fun part after that. As Kore ran along the set path he found himself tripping over his own legs. As he moved he moved no quicker than while standing still before he crashed into the ground. Skidding to a stop the young lion lay there, to embarrassed to stand back up. If it had been a battle situation he would have been dead. Baki and Maya would not have approved of his performance. Slacking on his training had shown him he had to continue to strive to be like Baki, a fighter for every situation. Looking over to Karite he noticed the boys eyes were sadder then normal. Growling the lion tried to snap Karite back to himself.

Karite was snapped back into focus as he let what happened yesterday go. Thanks to Kore he was able to resume his position. Letting his arms continue there motion following almost predetermined paths as they punch and struck blows on the faceless images of his own mind. The Tategami's skills were unmatched for his graduating class, only because they were strange. Strapped with a Bo, and his tumbling skills he was honestly a unique shinobi. As the boy pondered the thought in his own mind he realized he was not ready to become genin. His skills were lacking. Only one person could remedy what he was missing. Stopping his training he looked to his friend and brother. "Kore keep training, I have to go see an old friend for help." With that said the boy took his leave and headed towards the village.

Kore found it hard to get up from the soft dirt he had made his home. His pride was hurt and frankly had lost interest in his training. Maybe the jungle woman might know something useful, or even interesting. If he finished first, Baki would not like him not finishing his training. Raising to his feet the lion shot off onto the path. Moving as fast as he could his legs seemed to blend into one shape as his body was a blur with the jungle. Moving around the tree the lion almost seemed to jump as it tried to regain its traction onto the ground. Moving hard on the path the beast ran to the other edge of the trail. His legs pounding the soft earth underneath his body. As the beast passed the first tree for the second time it slowed trying its best not to hit anything. One more time and the beast would be finished. If the woman could teach him nothing maybe Maya could. She was suppose to be back by now.

Natamo rolled her shoulders and looked up at the sky. She hadn't done anything productive, really, beyond yelling at kids all day. Well not that it wasn't fun, but it wasn't productive per se. Ah well...maybe she could teach something useful this afternoon. It was barely past mid morning though, what could she do until then? Natamo flipped her long, onyx black hair and debated dying it again. Tomoko would get a kick out of it. Where had that crazy woman gone, anyway...?

Skipping her way through the trees of the much beloved part of this island, Senritsu quickly came upon the image of a woman. Quickly tracing through her memory, she tried to find the name to match the looks. She’d seen the woman before, but had yet to come into contact with her in person. Natamo was it not? She had something to do with animals if she remembered correctly. If that was it then she could get in a few questions about the pregnant dog she had found before. “Hello there.” Senritsu said, her voice chiming like a bell gently ringing in the breeze, just as friendly as always. Waving, the short pixie-like child made her way over. “You’re Natamo right? The animal person? I found this pregnant dog just this morning and I was wondering if you knew anything that I should do to make her comfortable. It didn’t look like she had an owner and she looks really close to delivering. I know the basics, but is there any nutrients she needs an abundance of?” Senritsu asked her questions quickly, her voice humming as she didn’t bother to take a breath. It was normal for her though, breathing while talking wasn’t something she was best at.

"Lots of nutrients in her diet. A skinny b***h will probably die during birth, a fat b***h might suffocate the pups. There aren't any particular nutrients she'll need, but stay away from anything with high amounts of mineral contents. When she's pupped, make sure she has water. Comfortable...take her home and fix her a warm place to sleep. Nice and soft, kiddo - a box with a towel or blanket should suffice," Natamo said, turning to look at the girl. She seemed bright enough, and so Natamo was sure that she would care for the pregnant b***h and still have enough energy left over to wonder what would happen to the puppies. Natamo gave the girl an encouraging smile and motioned for her to come closer. "So...what do you plan on doin' about it?"

Senritsu listened quietly as the woman spoke, her green eyes shining brighter than the lush greens of the ground and trees surrounding them. Making sure to make mental notes of what Natamo was saying so she’d be able to do them when she got home, she decided to make Fuki the most well taken care of mom dog ever. Senritsu had already made a place for the dog in Sukotto’s room, she just hopped that she wouldn’t give birth while she was away. That would be horrid! “Thanks!” As the woman looked at her and gestured for her to come over, she hesitated a moment before doing as she was told. Coming to the much taller female’s side, Senritsu kept her smile as she stared into the woman’s eyes. “Hm? Plan on doing about what? The dog? Well, she’s at the Estate right now. I plan on dropping in on her and getting her fed before I leave, and since she looks so ready to give birth I won’t be going too far after that. Hm, I’ll probably be coming back and asking more questions before the pups are born so I know what to do. Hm, what are you doing out here anyway. You looked kind of bored. Mind some company?”

(Sorry, I'm in a bit of a rush to meet the rest of my team. Maybe Senritsu can learn the Jutsu when she returns. ^_^ I'm sorry to leave you.)
Senritsu found fingers tapping against the forearm of her opposite hand as she spoke to the woman. She knew time was running out before she would need to report to the Cliffs and meet the rest of the people on her team. Sukotto had told her to come as soon as she was ready, but she knew how long it had been since he’d asked her to join and he would most likely be there waiting with the rest of his team by now. The Uchiha knew that it would be cool to arrive fashionably late, but not rudely late. He may think she had decided to refuse his offer and bring in a new third member. Her mind struggled between the decisions of whether to stay and speak to this woman or leave and go where she was needed. But, going to the Cliffs would really dampen her schedule in learning the Jutsu she would need. All she needed of the basic Academy jutsu now was Nawanuke. She had everything else down to memory. Maybe Natamo knew someone who would be able to teach her that single Jutsu. Perhaps even the people who would know the other jutsu she would require. “Sorry to leave so soon but I’m needed elsewhere. If you happen to know anyone who could help me learn Nawanuke, or Minor Chakra heal it would help me out a lot. I hope to see you another time!” With that said, Senritsu turned on a heel and took off towards the Cliffs. She couldn’t wait to see who else was worthy enough for Sukotto’s team. Not that she really believed herself to be one of them.

With a bow of her head, Hanabira leaned towards Natamo as she excused Karite and her. "Thank you for the lesson, Natamo-sensei," Hanabira said softly. As she thanked the sensei, she began gathering her things and put her bow on her back. She would have to construct some sort of sling for the bow and arrows. It was well into the morning and Hanabira was sure that her brother would be back from the exams. Knowing that Kane was a bit nervous about the tournament, Hanabira was anxious to hear how he did. Sticking to the shoreline, Hanabira left Natamo's lagoon to head towards the docks where the fisherman's boat carrying Kane would be docked. Since she was afraid of the bow's string breaking with her slinging it over her shoulder so carelessly, Hanabira carried it in her hand and let the arrows rest in her pouch along with her other supplies.

[ Sorry =( GREs have the best of me atm... ]
Natamo blinked. Well, at least the b***h was in a warm, safe place. Natamo shrugged, and watched as both Senritsu and Hanabira left. Mm... with a sigh, Natamo turned back towards the water in the lagoon, feeling particularly downhearted. She was bored now, and she couldn't even go off to find her plaything, Dhan. Where was Tomoko, anyway? Natamo groaned and covered her hands with her face. She was fine just an hour ago, and now she was starting to phase out of her reality and weave her thoughts into a web of obscurity. Natamo couldn't grasp any one thought long enough to make a difference in what she chose to do for the day, so she flopped on her back and stared at the sky silently.

He had sent the new boy and chuunins off, then gone to take a quick shower. Next, a dash of paperwork. Add a paper cut, letter from Aya and Kana, and complaints from fisherman about late shipments and one had a frustrated Shinichi. The man had tossed on his old kimono and headed off the forests to take his mind off the diplomatic jumble for a while. He had no desire to interact with another bothersome woman. "Well, aren't you being productive?" Shinichi growled when he saw Natamo and was in range to speak with her. He leaped off the tree and landed silently on the packed earth, then remained in a crouch, one eyebrow raised as he questioned her. His feet landed just far enough away to make a hasty retreat if she reacted negatively again about Dhan. For Kami's sake, women, just get over it. What did they want him to do, give that murderer a cookie and sit him down in time out? Export him to the mainland where he can lead his Meho troops in revenge on Shima for kidnapping him? Let him rot in a prison cell and encourage the Meho to come to his rescue? Maybe he should just be smart and rip out the tongues and slice off everyone's hands on Shimagakure. Or why not just kill them all and avoid all problems altogether? He couldn't get more damned as far as diplomatic relations went anyway, with the leader of the Earth Country and Rice Country looking for any excuse to condemn him. Shinichi huffed a breath and laid on his back next to Natamo, cross. He hadn't realized what effect San had on him. "Why is it with women and being so damn... I don't know... annoying?" he growled out of the blue, both inviting a conversation and not caring if Natamo replied.

Kore was beginning to set off on another sprint when he heard the all to familiar sound of an evil like no other. An evil to good to be a demon and to twisted to be a saint. Truly a shinobi worth watching no matter if you called him friend or foe. As the figure stalked closer Kore began growling. His teeth uncovering from his black lined muzzle and his tail going in an up and down pattern. If Karite were still here he would be on the defensive as well. It was something that many people tended to do around him, even when he was a cub still confused about his life this man always made him throw up ever defense he could. Something about his scent...it was like death dropped from the sky right into the land of the living.

Wanting to stalk closer to the man and take a nice chunk out of his backside Kore found it hard not to roar at the man. His anger at him for what he had done, his fear of him for the power he held, and the respect for him for staying after it all. His roar was not one to scare or warn, it was one to let the man know he was not hated fully by the village, but his presence was still unwelcome without a forewarning. The beast shook his mane and stood a little taller. His surprise disappearing. The atmosphere drained from the place Kore decided to hurry his training and return to the grounds hopefully running into a familiar face.

"We bleed monthly and refuse to die. What can you expect?" Natamo answered, not caring enough to move. Well she cared, but not to the point where she was going to get up and make the effort to hurt the man, because one, she couldn't, and two, there was no real point to it. "What happened, red-head? Got a harem and no clue how they work? Because it seems slightly suspicious you haven't gone and produced tiny red-headed demons for me to harness to a sled and use for illegal child labor." Natamo yawned and rolled her head to the side, eyeing him suspiciously and frowning. "What brings you to the lagoon on this fine midday?"

Sorri spent ten minutes with just struggling to climb the rocks by the waterfall in caution of his injuries. He got a rinse down on his cloths, slightly washing off the sand but know he had been all wet again. Sorri walked along the river's stream skimming for slow fish that he could scoop up along the way. He had been walking he had been lightly smacking around his body, spring has definitely returned and brought some bugs along with it. He diverted his eyes when he saw a lion someone in a hammock and someone with red hair..was he back already? Heh, he smiled at Kore, bout to the animal training sense and then gave a questioning look to the old man in the kimono...where had he even been all that time, had the Exams been that time consuming. "Sensei?"
