Maya's instinct about the dizziness was right on - she found her head swimming further and further in a sea of absolute darkness. Sighing, she lifted her arms, unhooked her legs, and dropped to the ground, landing on her butt. Legs splayed and palms against the floor in front of her, she looked like some sort of animal sitting. Baki nudged her slightly, still agitated with the blue eyes of the new female, and sat, beginning to gnaw on her now bare shoulder. Maya shook her head, taking off her vest and checking it thoroughly. Yep...it was definitely a rag now, especially with most of the pockets torn to absolute shreds. She rubbed her head, wondering if training here was worth the trouble. Crunches on the pull-up bar was asking for trouble, but simple pull ups were boring and too easy.
Crunch Ups
A simple exercise gone array - hang from your legs and do sit-ups in mid air for a harsher exercise.

Maya debated staying at the academy, reaching up for the bar without really wanting to grab it. She wasn't keen on suffering the dizziness again, and to hell with it, she wanted to spar, not hang off a bar like a freakin' monkey. She pouted, turning towards Karite. This wasn't a place for him to excel either, not under the ANBU. Not if he wanted to fight with Kore. He should be training with Kore, getting to know the cub better and starting to understand his nuances...like the cub's uncanny ability to always land himself in some sort of trouble. Actually, that made her grin sheepishly...because Kore sounded like her when she was younger. Baki as a cub had been quiet, focused on eating and gnawing on her...like he was now. Kore was ever curious, and though that would lead him to learn a lot, it would probably get him into a ton of trouble too - especially around Shinichi, evil red-haired man that he was. With a chuckle, Maya tousled with Baki's ears and buried her face in his mane. He had plenty of hair for the both of them, so Maya could have cut it all off and it wouldn't have mattered. Hiding a smile in his mane, Maya closed her eyes and sighed. What next, then? The day seemed to be dragging on forever.

[Damn you.... crying ]
The snake youth kept his palm extended for the fallen teen, but gave a small glare to Karite. Was the silver eye trying to defend the maniacal teacher? With such a cold tone in his voice one may think that the lion lover was becoming feral like the actual sleeping beast in the room. The emerald vines draped over the eyes and neck of the tanned youth. The child of vipers was not sure how to interpret this. The nerve of him, after lending the boy his vest too. Orika was not the only one who was complex and annoying with these weird emotions.
Before the Shisei could interpret this sudden seriousness of the usual jovial child, the blue eye girl finally gave a response. Meho Izumi. It was a clan that the analytical boy never heard of. Whatever the clan, they had polite females. The pale head and gold eyes pivoted slightly to glance at this Izumi bow and give a coy smile. At least someone had some manners on the island. The chocolate form then moved to one of the bars. Her bare feet propelled the slender figure into the air until she grabbed the metal pole. Shisei watched more closely as the vixen’s muscles tightened and began to pull her chin over the bar.
This was the thing that the snake youth noticed more than her cute smile, fair skin and charming eyes. She seemed to be strong. Out of all the academy students, she managed one pull up. This one was interesting to the snake child. Perhaps this Meho was more than a teen wearing the clothes of a jezebel. If no one else was around the chalk colored lips might have given a small smirk. Instead the lone Orochi returned his attention to Orika. Still he would take heed on how much progress the girl made this day.

Laying his hand on his left shin and leaning his forehead over at his toes, going along the strength with still-steady breathing. His body fought against the chill in the air. The more he stretched his body out, and heated i up. Sorri should have gotten to this much earlier in the mourning, it probably got more over a possibility of success. He grunted to himself, still trying ignore the pain his muscle were giving 20! He let his shin goo and jolted on to his back gasping the pain away. Then repeated this on hid right leg before he walk back to the entrance and readied to try again. "Here's to a running start." He went into th small sprint and lunched off for the bar from his left foot, and kept both hands out. His hands gripped tight as he gave a small swing after grabbing the bar.

Karite was being to grow tired of this exercise and its time limit. So the easy thing to do was to give everyone more time. Slowly reaching back behind his body with his right hand his arm reached into his bag to pull out a kunai now laced on his middle finger. Gripping the handle he tried to be as stealthy as possible with this motion. Spinning it quickly letting it slide of his finger he let the shiny metal stick of death fly towards the hourglass. If it hit the quiet ticking sound of failure would no longer be heard, if he failed it would more then likely spell a very bad ending for him. Karite let the Kunai take its course. He was never to good with his aim as he was with his fist. Then again he wasn't to good with his fist either. Karite let his hand drop to his side as if he was doing nothing but stretching his arm. No one in the room would have noticed perhaps other then that of the lions, Maya and maybe the Demon. Yet, who was fast enough to stop the Kunai or crazy enough to do so? Yuki maybe, but was this demon as strong as she was? He had survived a war, but then again so did Maya. This would be interesting to watch.

Finally He had grabbed the bar at least, now to just show some strength. He took a big breath trough his nostrils and gritted his teeth. His grip on the bar tightened as he performed his first pull up. He was to focused on the bar to even look at the others know, let alone any thrown projectiles. Sorri was starting to feel it again, that drive for being better, for being stronger then everyone. "I won't get left behind, not again." He tough about Maya, Aya, Kana, and Kiyo...his former classmates, they went on to be better then him. Graduations would be coming soon he he would get to wear his head band with pride. "One"

He slowly let his body low away from the bar and took another deep breath before he forced in another pull up. Sorri's eyes remained closed to avoid becoming distracted by anything going on around him. When would this day end? How long would class go on? As a matter of fact, what was up with Shinichi sensei, he knew him to a whole lot meaner to the students, pecking birds, sent on a river lap if you arrived late. Had the guy gone soft? Hopefully, Sorri chuckled to himself and exalted when he got his chin over the bar. "Two"

((Damn woman and their seduction and intimidation. LOL I kid I am tired of sucky rolls lol.)
Karite knew that this girl was cute even in this concentrated state he knew that but it didn't matter. It didn't matter how focused he was he was still Karite the Reaper. Being dazed he simply ignored the bar and stared at the girl as if his eyes were no longer his own. This would come to be a problem if on every mission he was on he was distracted but the simple seduction of a girl with an hourglass figure and a pretty face. Although this girl didn't just have the figure but the muscles to make her body perfect. She didn't look to strong but she wasn't to thin. It was definitely a perfect figure in his eyes.

Izumi's hands let her hang from the bar gingerly while she was able to search around to see what other things have gone on. The white colored boy was seeming to stretch while the wild girl was doing a different type of excersize from what the rest of Izumi's group were. Though, the snake child never said a word back to her, she continued on without noticing. He seemed to have more important things to attend to anyways and Izumi didn't want to interfere with him and the Orika girl. Come to think of it...she never did get the boy's name. Perhaps she'd get a chance to ask later on, or hear it from another person. The first boy who was assigned this strength test seemed to be switching to another. He was throwing some sharp objects at what appeared to be the wild girl, but Izumi was, as of yet, unsure of the projectile's flight path. Izumi realized she was still hanging from the bar, and was beginning to slip from the metal's surface. She regained her grip and tightened her thin fingers around the bar before attempting to complete another pull up. It took little to none of her strength to complete her second complete pull up. This was beginning to become easier. The only thing she had to do now was to not fall from the bar. It'd be quite bothersome if she were to have to try to get back up.

Izumi let herself relax and hang from the bar once again with a smile upon her face. Next all she needed to do was get a single more pull up and she'd be finished with this. The child didn't seem to phase anyone's interest and it didn't really matter to her. People watching was just great with her! She mused upon the fact of finishing along with everyone else. Though, she knew she would need to find her clan members that day. To alert Dhan of her presence in the village would be a necessity, even if it wasn't something she'd like to do... Perhaps she should pretend to be a normal Meho in front of him? Maybe then he wouldn't suspect her of being an oddity in his family. The girl shivered at the thought of being punished again for being herself...But it wasn't as though she could really lie... It was something she hated to do and would prefer never have to do. Perhaps she could hide her presence from him instead...then she'd never have to address him or be punished! WIthout paying much mind, she finished her last pull up and let herself drop gracefully onto the ground on her feet. Her beads sounded gently as she sat below the bars she'd just finished with and leaned her back against the base of it. Izumi could wait a bit while everyone else finished, or start on something else if ordered do. Either way, she was happy she was able to complete what was given to her.

Before she tried to grab for the bar again, Serena turned to look at the new girl. Her short blue skirt, and that top..she actually pulled it off. It was just so..cute. And to top that off, she was the first to finish the assignment..so easily, it seemed. The Raiken eyed the purple jewel around the girl's neck and the neat little trinkets added all over. How was she able to practice with all that stuff on her? Serena focused back on to getting the bar. It seems like she had almost completely gotten off track. "Mmph..come on--" Both hands gripped the bar, but apparently it wasn't tight enough of a hold. She fell back down, but was able to land on her feet steadily this time. The first person she saw as she turned was the new girl..The Raiken hadn't seemed to have been able to catch her name when she introduced herself. The smile across her face was very warming, though. She wiped her hand on her capris and closed them into fists a few times to stretch them better.

Sorri slowly let his body down from the bar. His hands were slipping, and it start to feel as if the only grip that was form had been with his fingers. He cuaght himself with his legs and quickly shook his back and arms to get the muscles to relax. Sorri looked up at everyone and sighed, he was still behind. He would have to stretch and give his arms some rest before he could run his way back on the bar. The rooms of the school got smaller every yer didn't they?

Shikai know he was late, has he walked inside the academy. He was late because he had oversleep, since his body needed to recover for all the bad damage he had taken. The Kikai bug where quite, and they didn't seem to move an inch. They where just feeding on his chakra, Shikai thought. But that wasn't the most important thing around. He was late, and he would have to suffer again for it.
Heh, will this ever end? It seem I'm destinied to suffer in my childhood it seems. So what are they doing?
The class looked like a gym...or something like that, since every student where trying to do grap a metal bar and pull themselve up. Shikai wasn't up for that, not because he was tired, but because his arm whear still hurting from the bad wound...even though he had sleep for over 3 days...it's seem like the nurse had focus only her healing on the bug's wounds. Shikai decided to sit near the wall...trying to spot the smart lass and snake boy. Altough he didn't like snake boy much, it's seem he had develloped some kind of respect. And last time he checked, smart lass was in a bad emotionnal state. Much like him, when his parent's heard the new's about the kage. Seem's like his father had plan to validate the clan by building an larger clan house. Shikai would have loved to help in the construction today, but he needed sometime for the pain in his arm's to ease a little.

Decidedly bored, Maya rubbed her face and stood, tugging on Baki's mane and walking out of the dull classroom as easily as she'd walked in. Annoyed, and obviously tired and sore - for Maya had yet to rest easily since her return to Shimagakure - Maya patted her stomach and leaned on Baki, heading back to, where else?, the Grounds. Waving slightly at Karite, she winked at him, almost as if telling him that he'd make it out of the class ... and she'd be waiting to drill him harder. Baki's growls were softer than earlier when the Meho-girl had talked to them, so they seemed to relay the same message as Maya's wink. They both walked out easily, silently - the stealth something they picked up from sneaking out of class and through hunting.

Izumi felt herself becoming more and more weathered from her sitting and waiting. She could have kept on waiting but it was becoming tiresome and the thought that she'd have to be meeting up with Dhan soon kept her a bit anxious. Within seconds she become too pent up with pure energy that she just HAD to do something. She scooted away from the bars and laid herself flat on her stomach against the floor. If there was nothing else she could think of, push-ups should do just fine. Very quickly, the child looked around to make sure she wouldn't be slipping on something on the floor while she was doing this. When she was affirmed at the fact there was nothing to bother her, sighed looked once more at the people around to make sure everyone else was still busy doing the first excersize. It seemed the wild looking child had left the room, along with the beast that accompanied her. With a single, nearly longing, look, she returned herself to what she had wanted to do in the first place. With a single fluid moment, she raised herself from the ground and locked her elbows straight. In another single movement, she lowered herself so that her chest was only two inches from the floor before raising herself back up and relocking her elbows.
