The fact that this rp is up again at all is good enough for me. <3 And it might very well take us all of August anyway to get it running again. Besides, you played your characters so well Ohkami Majin, so I doubt you'll be replaced. ^^)) ((Seconded. XD Ok, so so far everyone's pretty nuetral about restarting. I think it might actually be best, because then we won't actually NEED as many characters- we'll just set it up differently so that the preliminary ones (who never checked back, Yami Bakura and Dark Magician) go unmentioned.))

Starting over would probably work out well, since even if you guys want to start up before I get back, you can just concentrate on the domino city side of the story.
Though I think I might recycle my first post or two when I get back. sweatdrop My earlier posts were really my best in the roleplay.))

((Ok, I'm 100% open for ideas on a good/better way to start. XD
Also, about Seto.... since throughout the manga he never acknowledged Atemu as anything but another personality of Yuugi's, how would he have learned about what happened/would he accept it/etc?
(Course, if the Seto wants to go slight AU to where he does, disregard this. XD Total players choice. ;P)
And timeline... I'd like this to take place exactly 42 days after Atemu has gone onto the afterlife, because that's how many days egyptian believed passed before reincarnation. :3
Since Ohkami is going to be gone, do we want to instead start from right/soon after he got sealed and continue on from there, rather then when he gets revived?))

((That's an idea, I mean to start a few days or so before that amount of days for reincarnation just to set in character interactions before the actual plot takes place. Also so we can wait for Ohkami. 3nodding ))

We can still discuss stuff, but I'm going to make the first post... because the first post will actually be me transcribing my yugioh scans, to give an idea of where the starting place is. Note, we can continue from directly after, or a while after, your guys's choice. But this'll let everyone know where it left off.
Also, these are fan translations, so even though I translate word for word there might be inaccuracies. XP

((From Just after Yuugi defeats Atemu at the Duel of Destiny, which he does by forseeing Atemu's move, and pre emptively sealing a Raise Dead (AKA Monster Reborn) in a chest that will render it unable to be used by other player. Atemu later uses it to call forth Osirs, with 6000 attack, but Yuugi's card renders it useless.
These are transcriptions of the final moments after that.
The people who witness this are-
Yuugi and Atemu (duh)
Sugoroku, Anzu, Jounouchi, Honda, (Ryou) Bakura, Otogi, and Rishid.
(BTW- I recomend you read the last part of the manga, if you haven't. Their final battle has a lot of meanings tied in with it, its very sweet/sad.))
Jounouchi To Yuugi [raise dead] should have been a useful card as well.... So you're saying that he sealed the card himself.... Even though Yuugi could have used god as well...
Isis ' This si Yuugi's message to the other Yuugi....
A revived soul cannot stay in this world.
A push for the Pharaoh's soul to return to the Underworld...
The determination to sepparate that's fused into Yuugi's trump card...!'
Yuugi orders the Dark Magician to attack Atemu, crying as he does so. After he defeats him, he falls to his knees, sobbing. Atemu is smiling softly at him, saying
Atemu I lost... aibou... Stand up... what are we going to do if the winner's on his knees... If I were you, I wouldn't show any tears!
Yuugi * still crying* It's.... because I'm a weakling... to me... you were always my goal... to become strong like you.... always....
Atemu You aren't weak... You always had a strength that wouldn't loose to anybody. The strength of kindness, that's what you taught me aibou....
Atemu Aibou... the bravery that you had for taking the Ceremonial Battle for me.... You've revealed the road that I should travel...
Yuugi * tears in eyes, but no longer crying*...Other me...
Atemu ... Now I am not the other you.... And you are no one but yourself! Someone named Yuugi.... In the world, there's only one....
Rumbling, glow eye ness....
Isis The eye of Wedjat, the gaurdian to the door of the underworld, has evaluated the true King's soul through the Ceremonial Battle. For 3000 years... it has waited within this world, for the time to recieve the King's soul. Pharaoh's Soul-yo! The eye of Wedjat- The King's name!
The door opens. Atemu starts stepping though.
Honda * crying* You're really... going to go.... Why do you ahve to go to that world Don't goooo!!
Yuugi is crying, looking devestated. Anzu is also crying, eyes closed. Isis and Malik are watching, Rishid's bowing a little.
Jounouchi Ku.... * tear can now be seen streaming down his cheek*
Anzu Other Yuugi, no, Atemu... On the other side of the light, there is a place for you to return to... I understand that... But... To us, that light is only a barrier that sepparates us.... Yet.... I don't understand the meaning of it!! We've always been together as friends, and suddenly your... going to dissapear in front of our very eyes.... I just dont get it!
Jounouchi Anzu.... It's alright to not know.... It's because we don't know that we'll desperately ingrave him in our heads! The times spent with him.... The feelings.... So we'll never forget!!!
Jounouchi So.... Right now, let's send him off to his future...
Atemu Anzu.... Jou-kun.... I'll never forget about you....
Jounouchi Atemu!!! You may be King, but you're Yuugi! Even if 1000 years elapsed, we'll be friends forever!!!
Yuugi I will definitely never forget you....
Atemu walks through, giving them a thumbs up. As he goes through, he turns into the egyptian pharaoh.
Atemu Thank you.... Aibou.... My friends...
As he walks through you have a glimpse of the people from Ancient Egypt. He dissapears into the light.
Theres rumbling and stuff starts falling.
The thing holding the items shatters.
Otogi The tablet is being swallowed up by the earth!
Bakura If we stay here, it'll be dangerous!!
Yuugi Goodbye, Millenium Puzzle...
There's a brief image of Shadi, all transparent-y. They run out as everything collapses, makign it out safe.
Malik With the return of the King's Soul... The Millenium Items also accomplished their goal... The door to the Underworld will probably not open again.
All stare contemplatively.
Honda So that guy.... really left...
As they all stare off into the... er, sand.... there's clips of all, including Seto and Mokuba standing on the sand. (Following them? O.o;; )
Yuugi, I think.... written as narrative This isn't a story about a special King. Everyone has a story, and- This was a story that concluded in light.... And... My story has just begun!

((Oh wow... I had attempted to translate that myself, but that translation was *so* much better! <3 Anyway, I really think a character like Yuugi or Atem or Onuris should start the rp, so I'll wait until then. 3nodding ))
