"He's dead? I must have been out on a hunt, I didn't know. I'm so sorry, love." Claw said, vaulting the couch to land next to her. Hugging her softly, he kissed her.

Claw smiled back and picked up the whimpering Shadow, rocking him gently as he hummed, a deep melodic sound that soon quieted his son.

Claw smiled and gently took Fangoria in his arms as well, rocking them both as he gently hummed them to sleep. Soon, they were curled up in his arms, fast asleep. Gently setting them in their basket, he smiled and said softly, "I never could sing that well, but I sure could hum." winking at Ghostflower.

"I'm glad you did, love." Claw answered, smiling back with cloudy blue-grey eyes. Walking into the kitchen he threw together a sandwich, calling out to her, "Honey, want anything to eat?"

Claw chuckled. "Okay then." Grabbing a bowl, some milk, a few eggs, and a thing of bacon bits, he whisked them together in the bowl, then threw the mixture into a skillet with a little cheese. Soon, he had two plates of scrambled eggs. Walking out, he handed one to Ghostflower and sat with his own, digging into them and his sandwich.

Ghostflower sat on the floor in the living area with baby toys. She was watching the twins try to walk. Fangoria was determined to atleast stand up, while Shadow was crying from frustration as he laid on his back. Ghostflower got on her knees and picked Shadow up, sitting back down and holding up so his feet were touching the ground. "Shhh... You're okay." Ghostflower said softly, giving her son butterfly kisses on his face. Shadow whimpered, wrapping his hands in his mother's white and black hair, pulling and twisting. As her brother and mother were interacting, Fangoria managed to stand up, but fell down on her bottom as soon as she was up. She sighed and began to cry as well, making Ghostflower hold her and Shadow in her arms. Ghostflower stood up and carried the twins around, trying to make them calm down.

Claw gritted his teeth as he stumbled into his apartment, eager to see his wife and children, and even more eager to ask his wife for some healing aid. He was torn and bloody after his hunt, months long, for a particularly nasty group of vampires. He'd finally cornered the bats, and killed them, but not without a price. He was beaten up and had numerous gashes on his body, cleaned and covered with bandages. He winced as he opened the door, pressing a hand to a bandage on his side, where blood showing through the white linen told of a gash that wouldn't close. Barely able to close the door behind him, he took a few stumbling steps to the living room before his vision wobbled horribly, his cloudy gray eyes growing unfocused.

"Ghost... flower..." he barely whispered, before crashing forward to the ground, unconscious and bleeding.

Claw lay still for a short time, before his mind began to kick into overdrive, throwing him into what he thought at first was nothing but a vicious nightmare.

He stood in a large, cathedral like expanse, all in shades of red. Life seemed to be in fast-forward, days speeding by in seconds as people rushed and blurred through the building, themselves bathed in red, passing through him as if they were ghosts.

"Intrigued, aren't you?" an immensely deep voice spoke, drawing his attention to a throne at the front of the cathedral. Seated upon it was his humanoid lycan form, with its red and black markings. It leaned to one side slightly, resting a cheek on one paw, elbow supported by the throne's arm. "This is an image of the temple of the Eye. It was destroyed long ago, but I can still teach you the secrets of the Lunis Eye." It said, before laughing evilly with that same eerily deep voice.

"What's the catch?" Claw asked, immediately distrusting the voice.

"Catch? Catch!? Why, the catch is this:" the lycan said, standing and spreading his arms wide. He began to laugh maniacally, the deep voice echoing in the cathedral. Suddenly, two eyes of nothing but flat red energies opened in the air above the lycan, beginning to draw everything into the space between them and the lycan. "Join me! Give yourself up to the Eye! Surrender to it, and gain its power!"

"Like hell!" Claw yelled, fighting the pull of the eyes.

"Then you will die a fool, without the true power of these eyes. the lycan yelled, and suddenly...

Everything went black, before a light began to shine through. Claw slowly opened his eyes and sat up, seeing the blurry form of his mate sitting at the foot of his bed.
