Kartea had arrived at the court yard and saw that Tisuki was there talking to Ryu. The amulet's effect still remained, but was only in about a two-hundred foot radius out side, unlike inside, where it affected the entire room. Standing back some, he waited for them to finish talking, before he would walk up to them.

Kartea had approached Ryu as Tisuki left. Having an idea of what it might be, he still did not act different, he just acted himself. "So, what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" He said as he pendent started to drain Ryu's powers, as he was close enough for it to work.

"Challenger..." He simply said as he felt the air suddenly change. Kartea's eyes changed to black. The pendent turned to white as he channeled energy to his feet, forcing himself off the ground, at least ten feet into the air, to avoid whatever was coming at him, although one sliced his leg. Doing a back flip in mid air, he had landed a few feet right behind Ryu. "So... You want to fight? Don't use cheap tricks. They never work." He had said as his eyes turned to a pale white, and light barriers suddenly where around the court yard, to prevent any interference, or any from being able to sense what was happening. "This should be over soon." He said as a bit of blood trickled down his foot.

Kartea had smiled some as the smoke bomb had exploded. "Smoke bombs, easy way to get rid of the smoke." He said as he let out a solid burst of light, causing the smoke to dissipate enough to see. Seeing Ryu go for his leg with a card, he pulled his leg back as he drew his sword off from his back, and swung it down towards Ryu as he drew it.

Seeing his sword attack blocked, he drew it backwards, as he did a back flip, to avoid anything that Ryu was trying to do. "Simpleton?" He asked as he put his sword away. "Time to show you what real power is." He said as he put his palms together to gather energy. His eyes flashed to their original green. Two forms started to appear next to him. One whit, and one black. He made two dopplegangars of him self. The black one was on his left, and the wight one was on his right. "Try to take on three..." All three of them said at the same time, as the dark, and light copies want to the sides of Ryu, Forming a triangle.

“Touchy.” Ryu commented, sounding unshaken. On the inside, his mind was racing. He had hoped he wouldn’t have to get serious. But that was when he thought his opponent couldn’t take it. Either way, he had to end this soon. If he didn’t accomplish what he came here for soon, people would start to notice their absence. Speading up his plan, Ryu drew out a small jewel. True, his parents had forbidden him to use this technique in all but life or death situations, but then again, juging from the fact that his opponent had just split in three, this was just that. Without a word, he took the jewel, which, although it was only about the size of a finger nail, nonetheless depicted a sword plunged into the ground in a burning field, Ryu placed it on the hilt of his katana, where it seemed to sink into the katana. Alternating between brown, green, and red slowly, an aura surrounded the katana. Ryu jumped into the air. Or was it the sword causing Ryu to soar above the trees? For now, the aura both engulfed him and his sword… and it was changing faster, growing bigger, as if it was trying to get out…

why isint this working Tisuki wondered black ice can cut diamonds.tisuki finally gave up and ran around the school finally finding the teaches lounge. He banging on the door and yelling that people were in trouble at the courtyard.
