Rainfur lowered his head, even more embarassed now that Silvertail haden't responded in a way he had planned. But it was still shocking to him that speaking so freely seemed easy to do with Silvertail, even if she said nothing in return. He continued to work, only glancing up to watch Silvertail's expressions change.
What is she thinkning about... I don't think I said anything that would hurt her.... he thought while a worried feeling washed over him.

Airpaw sighed and headed for the entrance of camp to go hunting. He needed something to take his mind off of Sandpaw.

((Sorry i haven't posted for Torrentstar in so long... i was trying to give them enough time to clean up the warrior's den xD))Torrenstar finally reached the camp Icetail and Pebblefoot on his heals. It had taken a long time to get back from the Windclan border and the snow didn't help. He entered the camp and shook his fur clean of fluffy snow flakes. He still was a bit angry. He wanted to see his apprentice but he figured now that it was probably a sign from Starclan, the storm, a sign that Sandpaw needed more time to heal. He sighed and hopped up onto the highrock. There were more important things to discuss now. He yowled "All cats old enough to swim against the river's current gather round!" He waited with his tail curled against his body. The sun was setting now, and he had many things to do before moonhigh.

Airpaw paused half way out the entrance. Should've known there'd be a meeting once they got back. He thought backing into camp.

Crystaleye walked over to the HighRock, eyes still a little bit glazed but snapped back into reality when she was listening to the leader.
Owleye walked over and sat beside Crystaleye boredly but quickly.

Dampfoot passed a final glance over the contents of the warrior's den and gave a tight nod, as if congratulating herself and the others on a job well done.
The mess was mostly cleared up now -- she doubted Torrentstar would notice.
Without another word, she turned and smoothly padded out of the den.
Dampfoot crossed the clearing and sat obediently before her leader, settling on the cold, wet ground and methodically grooming her pelt while she waited for the other cats to assemble.

Rainfur finished molding the last of the piles around him and padded towards Highrock. Slipping into a spot next to Dampfoot and began to lick his paw, swiping it over his ears.

Pebblefoot followed her leader right to the middle of the camp and sat on the other side of Rainfur. She was interested in what Torrentstar had to say. She knew that this would be important.
Silvertail followed suit with Mooneye right behind her. She took her place beside her sister Pebblefoot and settled down to listen. She couldn't help but glance around in search of Moonkit. It was just her natural reaction. And there was a flutter of worry in her chest when she didn't see her. But she forced herself to turn back to the leader. She couldn't have snuck out, not when her apprenticeship was so close...
Mooneye sat at the back of the group. She could hear fine from there and she didn't like crowds much. She sat patiently for the leader to begin.

((ok so here's the thing... I was waiting for cupid but i just looked in the going away topic... and she said she'll be back friday so i'm gonna make this meeting just a stupid telling them what happened one and then we'll wait for cupid to return for the medicine cat/ apprentice/ deputy ceremony... please don't be mad a Torrentstar gonk ))
Torrentstar waited until all the cats were gathered round and then he spoke. "As you have probably heard, Rainfur and I were not able to cross over the river into Windclan territory." He paused taking in the expressions of all the cats in the clan. None seemed shocked so he continued. "I beleive this storm was sent from Starclan. And I will not go against Starclan. We will try to cross the river again in a few days when the snow has melted some and Sandpaw has had time to heal. For now, we must all focus on prey, and clearing away the snow." The snow was falling more softly now, but what was already on the ground covered half his legs. He looked at Dampfoot. "Dampfoot I want you to take out two other cats with you and get as much fresh kill as you can before the sun sets. If it is still snowing after nightfall, come back." Then he turned to Rainfur. "Rainfur I want you to organize an evening patrol. But this patrol will be short. I don't want you out in the snow too long. Don't go out too far."He then turned to Silvertail and Pebblefoot. "Unless Dampfoot or Rainfur needs you, I want you to stay here with the elders and make sure they stay warm." He looked back over them all. Whoever is left in camp will help to clear away the snow." He waited then, sitting patiently as his directions were slowly followed.

Crystaleye nodded, and began to clear away the snow around the fresh-kill pile, then around the elder's den.
Owleye smiled. "Thank you, Crystaleye." She curled up in the deepest corner of the elder's den, content to be asleep and warm.

Airpaw stood up, his hind quarters half frozen from sitting in the snow. He started clearing away snow near the nursery.

Dampfoot gave Torrentstar a grim nod of understanding, and began running up a mental list of capable warriors that she could take with her.
She stood up, flicking her paws and tail as she did to in an attempt to shake off the worst of the snow that stuck to her fur.
"Silvertail. Crystaleye." Dampfoot called, her breath clouding then dispersing before her muzzle as she spoke.
Snow settled on her whiskers even as she beckoned the cats she had enlisted with a subtle jerk of the head.
"Ready when you are," The she-cat said briskly, over her shoulder.
It took a bit of effort to reach the exit, but once Dampfoot finally made it there she stood silently, fidgeting on the spot whilst she waited for her required warriors to assemble.

Crystaleye walked over to Dampfoot, shivering slightly. "Gah, I hope I don't get whitefoot..." She looked at her very pink paw pads, hoping they wouldn't turn white. She looked towards the forest. "Fox dung the river flooded. We could catch a lot of fish before sun sets."

Moonkit had been listening from the inside of the nursery, not wanting to come out. Then she realized; this would be the perfect time to show that she could help out, too. She bounded out, jumping into a huge pile of snow as she did. "Wow!" She yowled, not realizing how much the snow had built up since she had gone into the nursery. She could easily see over the snow, but the only way for her to move around was to bounce up and down through it. Great, this will be embarassing... She thought as she began the humorous excersise. When she finally reached the warriors den, she began to push what seemed to be mountains of snow towards the edges of camp, so the warriors would not be as cold.
Icetail began to clear out the snow around the entrance of the camp, making sure that the piled-up snow would not be in a position to fall on any un-suspecting cats. Piling up snow... It was not his idea of a warrior's duty. Never-the-less, he still continued to push the snow out of the way, and worked his way inward into camp.
