"Whoa! What the hell?!" Enric yelped as Edward attacked him. He leaned backwards, bending perfectly so that his back was an inch from the ground and the blonde sailed right over him. He stood back up and looked over at Marcus. "Whose the pipesqueak?" Enric asked pointing over his shoulder with his thumb. "Edward calm down!" Marcus was suddenly infront of the blonde, hand on the boy's shoulder.

"Who's Envy?" Enric asked looking at Edward in confusion. "Edward, this is my friend Enric. Enric this is Edward, a new recruit. Funny we were just talking about you." Marcus said calmly, frim grip still on Edward.

Haph knocked on the door in the pattern she ahd been told. The door opened a crack. The person inside looked her over, nodded and opened the door. She walked in and handed him the foreged papers. The man nodded and put them in his breif case. The room they were in looked like a normal hotel room. In fact it was a normal hotel room. The man placed his hat on his head and exsited the room. As he closed the door he tossed Haph the keys. She nodded in thanks. Exactly ten minutes later she walked down the stairs. A prepacked and provided suitcase over her shoulder. She smiled warmly at the reption desk manager. She returned the key to the room and exsited the hotel. She hailed cab and told it to go to a hotel three blocks away. The cab ride was silent, just as silent as the meeting in the hotel room. Haph stared out the window. So far so good, nothing we've done is suspisious, there is no way for them to track us The cab pulled up to the cab she got out and walked into the hotel loby. She sat down in the sofa in the center of the loby. A man walked by and through down his newspaper on the desk in front of him. he sat down and stared at the ceiling, sighing slighty. Two minutes later, the man seemed to be done contemplating whatever it was he had been thinking about. Haph picked up the newspaper. Inserted into page there was a peice of paper. she took the paper and folded it and put it in her pocket. After reading a few articles she got up and haild a second cab. This cab to her to a central park. There she opened the paper and read the coded message. It was her next essignment.

"What's his problem?" Enric asked Marcus as Edward left. "It's been a rough night." Marcus answered returning to his seat. "Oh. So this is the newbie you told me about over the phone? He's interesting. I like him already." Enric answered licking his lips as he leaned against the desk, back to the older vampire. "Be nice. I don't know what's been going on, but even a two year old could tell that boy's been to hell and back already in his short life." Marcus continued giving Enric a look. "Haven't we all?" With that Ernic pushed off the desk and vaninished from the room.

"So how's life shortie?" Enric asked appearing silently a few feet behind the blonde.

"Okay, okay you're not short! Geez relax kid. Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the cofin." Enric stated completely unfazed by the out burst. "You know you should be alot nicer to me considering the trouble Marcus went to get ahold of me and the small fact of oh i don't know, we're living in the same house for the next few weeks?" He continued totally ignoring the fact that Edward clearly didn't want him around.

"You know, you really should be alot nicer to me. Mainly considering the fact that I'm your new teacher." Enric stated calmly at the closed door, knowing full and well that Edward's vampiric ears would hear him perfectly well.

"Oh hell yes. Marcus is too busy right now, preparing for the upcoming....hoiliday. So unless you know who your sire was..." Enric paused looking at Edward for a moment. "And I'm going to hazard a guess and say no, so you are stuck with me. Isn't it grand?" Enric finished with a large smile on his face.

"Sorry Ed can't be helped. Marcus' orders, and since he reins supreme here, you and I both have to listen to him. But if this form bugs you that much." A blinding light suddenly flashed up Enric's body. "Then maybe we could try this one? What'd ya think?" Standing in front of Edward now, with his arms tucked behind his head and wearing a smirk you would never see on his face, was an exacte duplicate of himself.
