The vampire rolled his eyes ignoreing their little sqabble. "My eyes can see perfectly in the purest dark," he said not even looking back at him. He leaned over slightly toward the prince. "Would you like to take a rest?" he asked in a low whisper so the other would not hear him.

"Actually that sounds good right now..." he wavered a little as his vision swam. he closed his eyes. when he opened them again he was looking up at the starlit sky.
