Fay ducked his head, he wasn't used to speaking, or being spoken too. He pushed back the hood of his cloak and ran a hand through his hair. "Mine is," He coughed to clear his throat as his vioce sounded scratchy. "My name is Fay, you're a centuar?" He asked, with some awe in his vioce.

Talo blushed a little and than grinned. "Yeah! I guess so anyway." he said and than turned back to look at his rear. "Pretty sure. What are you?" he asked

"A demon, of the Shrati tribe." Fay responded, his pale, orb-like eyes looking at the strips with some amusement.

Talo was a little confused. "Oh I don't think of heard of any of you." he said and shifted his hooves, the bangles decorating them jingleing with the movement.

Fay looked up. "Have you not met the Dark One?" He asked, so tired he thought he might fall over at any moment.

"I do not speak speak his name allowed." Fay responded, making a protective gesture, though he paled as the skin on his back pulled.

"Oh, why not?" he asked and noticed Fae pale. "Are you hurt?" he asked, moveing closer.

"It is forbidden, less I be tainted." He responded, looking Talo over. "I pay the price for my sins." He ran a hand through his hair again, his eyes growing sarrowful

"Tainted... okay...Sins? So, someone hurt you than? Do you want something for it? I have a few things." he said, his accent thickening slightly as he used words he wasnt used to.

Fay shook his head, he didn't understand these people. Pain was meant to be delt with, to live through and understand why the gods chose to punish you. Darren had tried to explain that the upper world was far differant then the sheltered home Fay had grown up in, but Fay had not understood until he came here.

Fay instantly closed his eyes at the mention of the Dark Ones name, he swept a hand across his shoulders, from one to the other in an attempt to cleanse the air of Talo's words. "I accept my pain, and do not feel the need to ease it." He responded, sounding more like he were speaking to someone other then Talo. Not that he could go into the water anyway, his back was ripped to shreds, the small treatment the Shrati healers had given him before he was exiled was the only reason he hadn't bleed through his robes.

Talo sighed. "Fine!" he said and smiled a little, he was somewhat frusterated, he knew Fay was hurt but didnt want to push him to much when he barely knew the man.

Fay looked confused, he wasn't sure about the signal's the man was sending, was he angry. "I apalogize if I have abset you..." Fay said softly, bowing his head.
