She smiled, looking shy for a moment before explaining more. "There is .. much less to it than it seems. Once you bounce a few times, you are ready to set in motion. The trick is you must run in the exact direction you intend to travel or plan ahead to make gradual turns. You need more time to stop also, as you are moving much faster and it can .. cause trouble. When first using this technique, I ran in to walls and people often until I realized I could easily jump over a person so as not to bother them." she said with an embarrassed giggle. "First, try taking steps using this technique." she said softly, starting to walk but it would look almost as if she were speed walking with the distance she was moving but her lets were not moving terribly fast and she seemed almost to be hopping.

* Ali watched her move and mimicked after, horribly bad at first but eventually Ali got the hang off it. Though he did feel rather silly while doing it.* It'll take some time to perfect this I think, at least in my case.

"Oh yes, it took several days for me to easily progress from the beginning steps to being able to full out run. By the end of our lesson, you should be able to jog much faster. Over the next few weeks with practice, you will surely master this as I have." she said with a bright smile, pleased to see he progressed about as fast as she had. "Honestly, I believe the lighter you are, the easier it is to master this. Yawgmoth also admitted or gave warning, depending on how you look at it, that as a larger person, turning quickly is not advised, you could hurt yourself, having admitted that he had sprained if not broken his ankle several times from trying to .. turn the dime?"

* Ali looked over at her and smirked as he continued to mimic her movements, picking up the pace when he felt he got the hang of it.* I see, I'll keep that in mind.

She smiled and giggled. "You are as excellent of a student as you are a teacher." After a moment, she stopped then looked to him with an odd expression. "Try jogging, yes?"

* Ali did as she said and picked up the pace even more, smiling as he got the hang off it but not getting to cocky. It still felt odd and it wasn't perfect but he was getting there. Eventually he stopped and looked over at Ziven, laughing slightly.* I feel kinda silly by prancing like this.

"Do you wish for privacy? I felt awkward also .. it is .. different. Something so simple, so basic, that we have done our entire lives .. to now be practicing and teaching ourselves again how to do it." she said softly, keeping near him the whole time.

Nah, would be worse if I had been doing this in the bar.* Ali smiled at her and looked down at his feet, taking a deep breath before going straight into a jog that went a lot faster then it normally should. Ali stopping afterwards by turning his body and sliding his fingers on the ground as well as his feet, sitting up on one knee once he had stopped completely.* Kinda like trying to stop on ice.

Nah, I can practice by myself now that I know how it works.* Smiling up at her, Ali stood up afterwards and moved his hands up in a guard.* Let's see if there's not a few new things I can teach you when it comes to close combat instead.

She smiled and nodded but this was quickly replaced by an intense expression, concentrating and attentive to what he said. "As you wish."

* Ali smiled at her before he lowered his arms and unbuttoned his shirt, tossing it aside and holding both his arms out to his sides. Taking in a deep breath and looking up at her.* First, Punch my chest just as hard as you would've when you knocked Yawgs jaw out of joint.

She nodded and she was nervous to punch him in the chest as hard as she had Yawg's jaw .. it would not be very pretty for Ali. Focusing on the moment, her clothes started moving around her, it was very emotional, she was wanting to protect the ones she loved, angry because of what he was doing. Both these feelings combined with her powers and the skill Ali taught her for punching or kicking with greater force made for one powerful result. She looked to him with a fierce expression, nearly apologetic also for what she anticipated to be the sound of a rib cracking if not an Ali on the ground or staggering a few steps. Moving her weight back, using her full body into the punch, using not just her hand and arm but her entire body while focusing energy in to the force, making an audible sound when her fist met his chest. Wide eyed, she watched the result.

* Ali bent his upper body somewhat and took two steps back, dropping down to a knee and coughing up a large wallop of blood. Gasping for air for a few moments before he took a deep breath and looked up at her with a smile, slowly standing up straight afterwards and letting out a painful groan. One rib, felt fractured in two places and had been close to puncture his lung. Hurt like hell but nothing Ali couldn't suck in.* Good...I'll...teach you..a trick...if...you could be so kind...as to heal that rib...with...magic.

She tried to calm herself but it was not easy, especially after having felt the panic of realizing how much she had injured him, she looked to him with concern, wanting to reach out but stopping herself, knowing he would not truly want that, instead she covered her mouth. When he asked for help she eagerly shook her head and took to touching his chest - one hand where she had punched, the other on the side, gently touching him so as not to cause more injury or pain. "My apologies .. I had no idea .." she said softly, fussing over his well being despite knowing he had asked for it and asked for a little help. Quickly his ribs and the other bits that were bleeding internally were all healed. Still, she looked to him with focus though still apologetic.
